We let one car go ahead of us as we were perusing the menu, that was an error as he had either a large order or it was a verification that things weren't pre made. It took a long time for that car to get their order. We ordered old favorites, embarrassed I ordered their tacos, they were thinner than before and virtually no diced tomato or salsa and very little lettuce, very little. I also had a Jumbo jack which was just a little hamburger. We also had a Chicken Sandwich, which was good. I think it was staffed by two possibly 3 people. Parking lot seemed clean, surprising since no out door trash can available, dumpster is totally caged in, so if eating in parking lot, trash goes with you. First time In a long time, we use to go to the location on Eagle Rock Blvd, it was usually much busier, I guess due to it's proximity to Occidental College. They are honestly way too stingy with the ranch. I understand they may have a strict policy about limiting sauces, but for the amount of food I order, I should be able to get at least six. I even called to ask for extra ranch and made it clear that I didn't mind paying for it, but the man still refused. That's extremely frustrating, especially since it's such a small and inexpensive request. I noticed the commercial for the 75 Anniversary for the jumbo jack and was .75 Friday and Saturday as I entered I wanted to order 4 but the manager told me online only but never said that in the commercial. We had a very disappointing experience at this location around 2:46 AM. The employee taking orders at the drive-thru had extremely rude customer service from the beginning. After we finished placing our order, she said, "what a b****" at the end -- which we clearly heard. We have dash cam video of the entire interaction. When we got to the window to pay, we calmly told her we expected better customer service. We asked for her name and requested a manager. She claimed she is the manager. Another employee who seemed to come from the kitchen approached us and was also rude and cursing in Spanish. She then said she was going to call the cops on us. We stayed and waited for the police to come because we knew we did nothing wrong. This behavior is completely unacceptable, especially from someone claiming to be a manager. Customers deserve basic respect. I hope corporate reviews the footage and takes this matter seriously. read more

So I originally had planned on having Breakfast at the Taco Bell in Glendale off Colorado Street to try a new Breakfast Quesadilla. But of course they stop serving breakfast after 11a.m even if you are a few minutes late. Well my other choice of a fast food restaurant that happened to be close by was Jack in the Box. And actually is my favorite fast food restaurant. They serve Breakfast all Day, everyday, anytime of the Day!!! And these days just about everybody has had Breakfast for Lunch or Dinner. It's called 24 hour Diners like Denny's, Norm's just to name a few that make Breakfast anytime possible. And they understand that people eat 24 hrs. a Day or Night and Breakfast is eaten all times of the Night or Day. However Taco Bell or any other restaurant has not figured this out yet. Which is why I like coming to Jack in the Box to have Breakfast because you don't need to worry about the time or day because they serve Breakfast anytime of the day or week!! This Jack in the Box in particular was a truly great experience because I planned on having Breakfast and I knew I wasn't going to be disappointed, even though I never have been to this location before. Right from the Get Go I saw something new I wanted to try which was a Country Scrambler that included scrambled eggs with bits of ham and bacon, then you have country potatoes and stripes of green and red peppers with that, and then to top it off you have three Jimmy Dean sausage links. Well now that I got your attention I decided I wanted to try this but I decided lets's make it a Combo so I added a hash Brown and soft drink. But wait a minute before I get ahead of myself I need to tell you about my cashier Arevalo who took care of my order. She was definitely making sure all my needs were taken care of because I saw a Peppermint Coffee I was considering on ordering but she made the suggestion to sample it before purchasing to make sure that I liked it. How can you argue with logic like that??And it made perfect sense because I did try it in a small cup with ice and it wasn't to my liking after all but I was not charged for the sample. Again thinking of the customer and I so appreciate that suggestion from Arevalo. Now I am at my table and about to eat my breakfast but I realized that I misplaced my receipt. I either threw it away by mistake or left it on the counter where I picked up my order. So I went back to the counter where you order your food and talked to Sidney the Manager who noticed I was waiting to be served at the counter. Told him what had happened and without hesitation or asking why I needed a another receipt the only thing he asked was what I ordered and then in a matter of seconds gave me a duplicate receipt. Truly appreciate when you can ask for something and they try to solve the situation right away. And it really wasn't a big issue because my whole meal the scrambled eggs, country potatoes, sausage links, hash brown, and soft drink was just under 8 bucks. I just wanted to have a receipt and record of a truly great experience at this restaurant. And if that wasn't enough my order was ready to eat in a few minutes from the time I ordered my meal. So prep time was excellent, the eggs where cooked just right, potatoes to a golden brown, and sausage links cooked evenly through out. Even sometimes before a meal or after a meal we all need to use the restroom to freshen up, clean our hands, or go to the bathroom. And sometimes that can be a issue at some restaurants. But this restroom was very clean and there was no problems regarding that they were out of liquid soap, that the bathroom wasn't clean, or that the bathroom facilities were not working. My only concern would be for the parking lot which was quite small and all of the parking spaces had limited space especially the ones that were angled which is most of them. You should if you have a Big vehicle try to park on the very far left next to the wall or trash bin. One more thing as I was leaving the restaurant Sidney asked if I needed a refill on my drink which I politely declined but I appreciate once again the attentiveness to customer service to make sure the customer's needs are taken care of which might seem minute. But quite often are ignored. And based on this experience and visit at this particular Jack in the Box restaurant...I will definitely be back here again. read more

I received my order and I said to her and the other worker (I think they both may have been the manager) have a nice day in Spanish, they look at each other, girl walks away and other worker continues with what he was doing without any acknowledgement whatsoever and to me that's rude! Ok the Marry Bacon Superbowl commercial really amused me. I have an odd...well maybe it isn't so odd...obsession with bacon. So I had to go and check out the new Cheeseburger BLT along with their special BACON MILKSHAKE! Bacon Milkshake - 4 out of 5 - You know I was surprised at how much I liked this! The first sip I had tasted...like...well.. Bacon. It was a bacon milkshake and it actually worked. The shake was uber thick and topped with whipped cream. Each sip had a nice bacon flavor with nice undertones of vanilla ice cream. It was all well balanced and tasted pretty darn good. Is this my favorite milkshake ever... no.
