At around 9:58 pm on Dec 29, 2025, I went to the restaurant with my son and had a very unpleasant experience with the lady at the front. From the moment we arrived, she gave me a hateful look, which got worse after I spoke to her in Spanish. After about 10 minutes, she finally said "WHAT YOU WANT," so I asked for fries, onion rings, mozzarella sticks, and two drinks. She threw the cups at me, and when I went to get my drinks, there was no ice. I returned to ask for ice since the machine wasn't working, and she took seven minutes before giving it to me with a bad attitude, clearly wanting me out. When I finally got my drinks, they were tasteless, so I asked if she could replace them using the machine inside. She told me it didn't work and there was nothing she could do. When I reminded her I had paid for my drinks, she just said "oh well," and after a few minutes, mentioned I had canned drinks instead. I asked her to switch them, and she poured them into cups in the back, but by then I didn't trust her anymore. I took the food and left, telling her I would call corporate, and suddenly she tried to act nice. She's a short Hispanic woman with dark hair, wearing blue jeans, and had a very bad attitude. As I have started before not much of a JitB person. We were doing another DIY project and after a quick trip to Lowe's we stop for a late lunch. Because if COVID-19 we went through the drive thru. The lady, Caroline was friendly and put on a new pair of gloves and was also wearing a mask. (That is what the 2 stars are for) Of course once we got home and opened up our food...it was Wrong! Don't you hate when this happens?! We did not receive a receipt when my husband paid. I just went through the drive through and they have several signs that say they are hiring. I asked the cashier if they were hiring she stated no. I asked if y'all aren't hiring why do y'all have all of these signs stating that y'all are she stated she doesn't know and proceeded to speak to someone in Spanish. I stated oh ok y'all aren't hiring any black people she just smiled I said I got but look o don't need a job I was inquiring for someone else but their also black so I will make sure to tell them not to waste their time. New item CHILI CHEESE Curly Fries , looks great , I love curly fries but the final product turned out to be a VOMIT Curly Fries. JITB photo of such Fries looks great , box full of Fries , all ingredients equally mixed but the actual order consists of ONE maybe five Curly Fries and buried under the cheese and chili . Please see photos to understand , after I took the photo I went back in and returned the Fries! After I complained to the manager, she said that there is nothing wrong with the order , that they make it exactly per JITB corporate instructions. She said this too " If you don't like it don't buy it" Someone is stealing money in this process of selling food at a three times lesser size than advertised! How can i even begin to explain my recent experience. First off when i entered the lot, there was pressure washing going on taking up the WHOLE entire lot when they were just doung a small section of the lot. We had to squeeze inbetween the maintenance truck and another parked car. Next off the worker at the drive thru said that they were not open at the time, mind you every single light they could have turned on was on, then i realized that EVERY jack in the box establishment is always 24/7 including christmas and every other holiday. It was just a slow thursday night that caused them to close at 11 PM, wasnt even midnight yet. Horrible establishment. Always have orders wrong. read more

I highly recommend not visiting this location. I didn't get the persons name however, this was the worst experience I've ever had at any fast food chain. As I tried ordering I was consistently talked over, didn't listen at all to what I was trying to order, rushed and repeatedly asking the same questions (I was asking my son what he wanted regarding his order) as if I was annoying her, it got to the point where I got heated and asked her if she can hold on so I can answer her questions. All in all I didn't order anything. Instead I went to sonic and ordered food for my son. If you like to be treated disrespectful and demeaning this is the jack in the box you wanna go to. Definitely won't be going to this location. There's another one a little out of the way but it's worth it. The restaurant appearance look clean, the problem that I have with every visit is that I'm willing to wait on hit & Fresh product however we always receive pre cooked hamburger patties. The sourdough burger is an awesome product but I always receive the pre cooked product, I'm in the food business and I was the fast food restaurants could just get it right. I had a coupon that I received from my last visit and could not use it because of the coupon police! If a gust takes their time to visit your restaurant and tries to use a coupon from their last bad visit, just honor it to please the guest. I have visited this Jack in the Box location several times since it opened a couple of months ago. Out of all the fast food burger franchises along Barker Cypress, this Jack in the Box is my favorite. On all my visits, the staff was friendly and the food was good. As for this afternoon's visit, I got the friendly service and good food, but today, the wait time for my order was pretty long for fast food standards. Unsatisfactory! We ordered two #1 sandwiches and a small order of fries. ($14.47). There was no one in front of us in the drive through. After a somewhat longer than usual wait we received our food. They gave us no ketchup or other condiments. The meat patties were totally dried out and tasteless and the bacon was overdone. Instead of looking like a nice burger, the buns were both smushed down making the sandwich's about 1 inch tall. The fries had way too much salt rendering them inedible. This is probably one of the better jacks I've been to recently. The drive thru moved pretty fast and my tacos were fresh. I hate when they taste like they've been sitting for awhile. These felt like just out of the grease. The breakfast jacks was also tasty. I will continue to visit this location when I need a quick bite. read more
