Located just off of I-40 you blink and you miss it. Luckily we hit a stop light and found it. Not much near here but thankful it was open. Our first of two visits today, the 2nd visit was better than the first. Our first visit was a pit stop if you will and granted that is not what JITB is in business for but I will rate that visit as a minus. One bathroom stall door was locked and no one in it and the only other one had NO paper. We did order two breakfast sandwiches that were meh .... so not sure if the poor restroom situation clouded my judgement. We did a return visit on our way outta town and ordered tacos and chicken nuggets. The tacos we're good and surprisingly the nuggets were good also. The tacos looked greasy but there was no sauce or grease running out the edges. Everything stayed in the shell which was nice and the sauce on the taco was really just right. Tacos we're good ! I grew up with jack in the box up north in the early 70,s Best egg rolls around hot juicy and burgers are way better than McDonald's especially the jumbo jack it's the place to go if your hungry after midnight. Staff is always friendly. read more

I went there at 6pm, the inside was locked so we had to use the drive thru which was already backed up, we sat there for 14 minutes before we even reached the order take box and only three cars had moved. It honestly was not even worth it. I don't know if they're having trouble hiring or what is going on but the wait time was ridiculous. read more

AMAZING SERVICE!!! My boyfriend and I needed to get a quick meal before getting back on the road. When we arrived, the very nice gentleman taking our order, Chai, gave us a few suggestions and gave us all the time to make our order. ( It was our first time trying jack in the box) Chai was VERY VERY POLITE and did not rush us. Once we got to the window to pay, we knew we needed sauce for our fries- Chai and Chris both recommended a few sauces- which were actually really good. Then, we had a short conversion with Chai and Chris- overall, SO FREAKING SWEET!!!! They both gave outstanding customer service! So we decided to ask for a manager just to give them both a shout out for the great experience we had. We spoke to the manager, Aleshia. Once again- she was amazing and heard us out while also speaking so kind of the other two. Aleshia was so kind to stop what she was doing to hear us out about the awesome experience we had!! This is the best customer service my boyfriend and I have ever had, we talking about writing a review- which we never really do. But, they all deserve the praise for the amazing customer service!! Our food was hot and fresh too!!! Just a reminder that every experience is different, just because you see a bad review doesn't always mean it's a bad experience every time. While out running errands I skipped breakfast and it was past the "other" fast food's times so I quickly ran through the drive-thru of this Jack in the Box in Conover NC. The young lady at the window was pleasant and had the best attitude I have seen recently at any Fast Food drive thru. Part of my order was going to take a few minutes and she offered me an alternative menu item which I said was fine. The order was correct, hot, and delicious. I will definitely go back. read more

Really sad this jack in the box is going downhill so fast like the one in hickory. Jack In the box has always been my favorite but this location. Is always slow. I know probably short staffed. I normally visit this establishment because it's close to home and I like their food. I normally will go once a week, but won't be visiting this establishment anymore in the near future. Last 4 visits.....1. They are out of Hi-C, 2. Ordered a cherry coke and they are out of cherry. 3. Ordered a coke, they are out of coke. 4. Ordered a coke, out of coke again, then ordered a sprite, out of sprite as well. I'm surprised they actually have food in stock at this establishment when they can't even keep the basic drinks in stock. We go every Tuesday and the girl that does the drive is not very nice. First of all they don't even put cherries on our milk shake anymore an when they didn't have anymore medium cups, they used large an only filled the cup half full cause it was supposed to be medium. I used to go for years and all of a sudden every time I go it keeps getting worse, food is always cold, never give me what I ask for, today I went and got the tiny tacos and asked for TACO sauce and I got sweet and sour??? one reason I don't visit fast food... placing my order with the employee that had no personality. ordered my food and was ask several questions. ask if I wanted cheese on my chicken sandwich. did not get cheese. ask if I wanted curly fries or regular fries but was not informed that the curly fries were extra. I had to ask to get my drink cup with my combo after they just placed the order on the bar and walked away. facility was out of coke and had to ask for another drink. so many customer service issues here. will not return, that's for sure. read more

Drive through- we were the 4 th in drive through line for just a simple one burger order. Nothing else. Waited 20 min to get to the window and burger had not even been started. Sat in parking lot to eat and burger was fine tho not worth the 25 min wait to get it! It was around 1pm. been here multiple times hoping it would get better but it hasnt. you can barely hear the drive thru speaker, they are always out of everything, you can never get the actual drink you want and if you do they taste horrible either way, the service is slow also. the food isnt great but its okay for fast food. hope this location gets stuff fixed. read more

I wanted to try their chicken sandwich. When I pulled up to the drive through, I was the 6th car in line. After 20 minutes there were still 3 vehicles ahead of me, so I found lunch elsewhere. Service is pretty good here for a fast food joint. They will bring you your food and I have never gotten attitude from any of the employees. Their tacos are the same quality as Taco Bell and their burgers are just a cut above McDonald's. Surprisingly their fries are better than the curly fries. I don't like the type of cheese they use on their burgers though, the taste of it is off. I would give more stars but let's be real, it's fast food read more

I love the drive through. Good service, great ice tea! The fries are also good and the mini churros are quite delicious. As a vegetarian, I can't really comment on the rest of the menu but I will drive miles for the tea. read more

Stopped in for those new tiny tacos... frickin delicious. All food was fresh, and staff was extremely nice. 1100hr of the morning.

I ordered food through the drive through and waited 30 minutes. I could have gone to a sit down restaurant and received my food faster.

The food is good and I do understand its made to order which I appreciate but the drive thru at the Conover Jack is so slow and the associates dont even acknowledge youre in the drive thru with a "we'll be with you in a moment or hello". You dont even know if its working! Four cars drove off today because nobody acknowledged anyone in the drive thru. Two more pulled away from the pickup window. They lost 6 customers. read more
