celebrated my 21st birthday here, and it was an unforgettable experience. The venue is absolutely beautiful, creating the perfect atmosphere for a special occasion. The drinks were outstanding--especially the mimosas--and the food was equally delicious. The staff ensured our celebration felt special from start to finish.

I rarely leave reviews... Truthfully, the only time I really do is when something knocks my socks off. I have been on a personal "quest" to find the best Birria tacos. Well I found them. Hickory- you're a lucky town! Wish I lived close! Thank you Casa Azul! The food was outstanding!

Hidden gem in a small town! Everything was amazing-drinks were strong, food was well seasoned, and portions were huge. Absolutely loved it and will visit again! The service was good and food was out incredibly fast-10 mins for 3 items. I loved the decor. Plenty of photo ops.

This is was such an unexpected treat! The decor was so cute! It felt like we stepped into a different world, in the best way! The food was beautiful. It looked like every person that handled our food cared about what they were making. I had the tres leches.. for dinner! And I regret nothing! Worth every calorie! I am so glad we stumbled over here and we can't wait to come back!

Upscale Mexican food with a great cocktail menu, prompt service, fresh ingredients and lovely atmosphere. Vivian was our server, very helpful.

    Interior. Love it!

Excellent as always! Food is always so fresh and authentic. Reminds me of the flavors from my childhood when my Hispanic grandfather would cook for us. The carne asada is my usual go to, along with their blood orange margarita. So good and a beautiful presentation. The restaurant is very clean and their servers are top notch professional, they are dressed in black and truly engaged making sure that their customers have a great experience. Very friendly greeting when they open the door for each customer and so kind when they escort you out and wish you a nice evening with a big thank you. Super place, they have it all figured out. And as a Designer...I love the decor and their vibe. Their pricing is extremely fair as well.

Very convenient location, just off Route 40. Nice place- on the outside, you can tell that it's a repurposed fast food restaurant, but inside it's very cool. We opted to eat on the patio, which is spacious and shady. I ordered coffee, my Bride got water, and the Kid ordered a Jarritos Tamarindo (tamarind soda; $2.50). Two out of three ain't bad, but they were "out of coffee," which sounds like English, but didn't make any sense to me. So I got a horchata ($3.75) instead, which was excellent, if decaffeinated. We also ordered a bowl of Esquitas ($4.99), which is kind of like Elote (street food corn on the cob) but in a bowl. I can see where it was good, but since I'm really not a fan of mayonnaise, I just had a bite. The things I do to bring you guys accurate reviews! The Kid said it was a bit too mayo-forward and wet. So I would get the Eloté ($3) next time. I ordered the Tacos (3) de Carnitas ($12) which were delicious, and came with a side of some kind of bean and bacon soup which was also very tasty. My Bride got the Sincronizada ($11) which is basically a chicken and avocado quesadilla. She said it was delicious, and would be a good choice for someone who was looking for a lighter option. The Kid got the Tacos (3) de Birria ($13) which he proclaimed "as good as we make at work." He's promised to make them for us so we can compare. The complimentary chips and salsa were pretty good, though most of the chips were pieces too small for dipping. The music was a nice mix of traditional and contemporary Mexican, and not too loud. Including taxes, lunch came to $50.51 before tip. Definitely worth stopping in!

This is first time we have come here, we're on our way to a family function and decided to stop here for bite on our way. Mexican food is hit or miss on the road. We were glad to have found a cute place with great food and great service. I had the Carintas bowl and my husband had the Chipotle chicken enchiladas. They were both very good but my husband is a big guy who said he could have eaten another enchilada. We ordered half and half tea which was also good , not a mix. The staff were pleasant and attentive. When come back this way we'll make a effort to stop back in. The interior was highly decorated with Mexican art dedicated to Frieda Khloe .

If I could give this place 10 stars, I would! The atmosphere when you walk in is very warm and inviting. There's some very cool artwork and decor around the restaurant. The employees were wonderful, our server was Kim, and she was fantastic! Kim went above and beyond making sure everything was perfect, which it was. We ordered the tropical ceviche, burrito and tostone cups filled with beef. I don't know the exact name of the dishes but OMG, the tostones cups were memorable. Ceviche was so fresh! We live and hour away and this has made our list of places to stop. Would recommend 1000%!!!

Amazing Ambience & Service! I was in the mood for some empanadas and elotes, so I was elated when I saw they had both. Even more so when they hit my taste buds! My new go to place when I'm in town. Thank you guys!

There are handicapped spaces adjacent to building right next to entrance. The host counter is right in front as you walk in. We were greeted immediately and taken to a booth. Seating is mostly tables as well as booths along the walls. There is also a patio on the side of the building. Our server came by a couple minutes after we were seated to take our drink orders. While waiting on the drinks I grabbed a few different salsas from the salsa bar. The salsa selection is good and there are a lot of different options. Once our drinks came and we made the food order, we waited another 10 minutes or so for it to arrive. That was the last time we saw our server until the end of our meal. My dining partner ordered the Chili relleno. While a decent size, the dish was subpar. The beef filling was quite dry and there was no to very little cheese inside. The meat filling was ground beef with minimal seasoning. This was a very bland dish. The Mexican street tacos (one each of beef, pork, and chicken) came with beans and a Cesar salad. The beans were fine as was the salad. The tacos all had a chipotle sauce added which was fine, but I would have preferred the option of adding different salsas from the salsa bar without the chipotle sauce already added. Unfortunately, all three meats were slightly dry and were very bland. The other ingredients were fine, and the flavor of each taco was greatly enhanced by adding different salsa options from bar, even over the chipotle sauce. This made the dish palatable. It appears the menu has been "Americanized" and lacks true Mexican authenticity. While it is acceptable for what it is, authentic Mexican food can be found in abundance just a half mile away.
