Looks good, they have a great variety but they are cash only so I couldn't even give them a try, who carries cash anymore.

It was delicious. The guacamole dip wasn't something to rave about, but it was a huge portion for ~4.50. The service was great. I would come back the next time I'm in town!

There are handicapped spaces adjacent to building right next to entrance. The host counter is right in front as you walk in. We were greeted immediately and taken to a booth. Seating is mostly tables as well as booths along the walls. There is also a patio on the side of the building. Our server came by a couple minutes after we were seated to take our drink orders. While waiting on the drinks I grabbed a few different salsas from the salsa bar. The salsa selection is good and there are a lot of different options. Once our drinks came and we made the food order, we waited another 10 minutes or so for it to arrive. That was the last time we saw our server until the end of our meal. My dining partner ordered the Chili relleno. While a decent size, the dish was subpar. The beef filling was quite dry and there was no to very little cheese inside. The meat filling was ground beef with minimal seasoning. This was a very bland dish. The Mexican street tacos (one each of beef, pork, and chicken) came with beans and a Cesar salad. The beans were fine as was the salad. The tacos all had a chipotle sauce added which was fine, but I would have preferred the option of adding different salsas from the salsa bar without the chipotle sauce already added. Unfortunately, all three meats were slightly dry and were very bland. The other ingredients were fine, and the flavor of each taco was greatly enhanced by adding different salsa options from bar, even over the chipotle sauce. This made the dish palatable. It appears the menu has been "Americanized" and lacks true Mexican authenticity. While it is acceptable for what it is, authentic Mexican food can be found in abundance just a half mile away.

When we're not working, we LIVE OUR BEST LIVES near the town of Hickory, in North Carolina. Now working and staying where we do, you know we're blessed with some of the best Mexican food on earth, but in Hickory, North Carolina?, and it was seafood too....whaaaaaaaaat?, nooooooo! way!! Yes Way!! Oh Lawd, El Vallartazo was EPIC!! We had a large order crab Nayarit, way too much for two people and a pescado guajillo & garlic red snapper, fried to perfection!! Again, way too much for two people... I need to mention the tostadas with ceviche along with the two salsas that are both served before the meal are absolutely amazing!! Now what impressed me the most was of course how fresh and delicious the food was but even more so it was the hospitality that made this evening so nice. From the time we walked in and sat down to the end of the meal when we were the only ones in the restaurant because they were actually closed at this point, but never made us feel rushed the entire experience was great!!

The beans weren't good at all & the rice was a little dry. I personally didn't like the complimentary ceviche it had a wet dog food consistency. It was free though, with a side of tostadas so I cannot complain!
