I've even had my order not refunded before by this restaurant, contacted the higher ups and everything through the website just to never get a refund! At 61, I kind of grew up on Jack-in-the-Box. I was fortunate to have lived by a quality JB in Texas for several years and it didn't matter what you ordered on the menu, it looked like they really cared and tasted great. Not the case at this location. Going through the drive through, I wasn't greeted and there was no "friendly" interaction. I ordered a Jumbo Jack Jr and large diet coke. The burger I got looked smashed, unappealing and appeared like a cheap plain cheeseburger you might get at McDonalds. Instead of diet coke, I got root beer that tasted like it was a mix of root beer and sprite. This was a terrible JB experience and I would think the corporate JB would have more input on quality/service when it comes to their franchises. read more

We stopped around 10:30 pm. Went inside and they told us that we could not order inside because it was closed. There were people inside eating. We entered the drive thru to order. There was a car ahead of us waiting to order. We sat there for 10 minutes. They did not take their order. We left. Waited twenty minutes for my food when there were like 2 orders in the drive thru, both crew member employees were on their phones. One girl had her hair down, neither one had their hair contained. The "cook" I'm assuming he was, was also taking orders, he got me a salad and the chicken was FREEZING COLD, like it had just been in a fridge overnight. They didn't have any dressing except southwest. My loaded tacos were spicy when I never asked for spicy. I have IBS so it gave me a horrible stomach ache. Was disgusting. The "manager" had no control of her store running around like a chicken, then left the less than desirable employees and went on a smoke break. My fiancé said there was poop in the men's urinal. The last 6 times I have tried to come to this Jack in the box, we have been told that their "system" is down and they can only take mobile or door dash orders. I'm trying to figure out how you can take those orders if your system is down. This location really needs to get it together!! So bad. My friends and I ordered and they forgot something from almost each of our orders. They had the worst attitude and they forgot jalapeño poppers, 5 tacos, fries, and all of our sauce. What is sad about this review is you would think I would learn my lesson. The first time I went to this location it was a horribly slow experience. Another time I showed up early in the morning and was told "we are short staffed so unable to take orders." This time I went late night and was told a list of what they were out of and asked if I still wanted anything. I proceeded to place an order. During my long wait at the window (only 1 other car in drive thru so no reason to be so slow) I noticed extensive filth on the interior. The lobby was closed however, the tables were loaded with soda cups. The fry area had do much grease caked on it and in the center an area that looked like someone had scratched a good layer off down to clean metal...yuck. The floor looked like it hadn't been swapped or mopped in a long time. Finally every experience there is lacking in the customer service. The food, which I did not finish, was not what i ordered and not good at all. I have finally learned my lesson...will NOT be returning. Drive through is horrible during the lunch rush. Cashier working the window is always in such a rush that it's easy to forget what the customer ordered. I ordered a meal and a chocolate shake but did not realize I didn't receive a chocolate shake until I was miles away. I'm sure it's because as soon as she handed me my order, she close the window. I called back up there to see if I could be reimbursed on my debit card but I was told I had to come back up in order to be reimbursed. Now why would I come all the way back to this restaurant to be reimbursed for a chocolate shake when I could just get another chocolate a shake? I stopped here on my way to work one morning and the sheer lack of people working in the morning makes you want to go somewhere else to get breakfast. When I visited I went through the drive thru and my order was taken quickly, but I waited a while to actually get my food. When I got my food which was the Steak and egg burrito, the burrito was sloppily put together, the burrito flour was torn at the bottom and it was just a hot mess, literally. So this is probably the worst fast food place to go to in Collinsville. Every time I've been there it's later in the night bc they're usually open, so I don't know if it's just the night staff or what but they're always rude and like annoyed that we are there ordering food. Half the time they say their system is broken so we can't order or they're fryers are broken. Within a year I've been able to get a shake only twice. Every time they say it's broken and I think that's bs. They're just very unprofessional. I forgot to order something once so I asked at the window for it before I paid and she's like sorry I'm too backed up here and there's a ton of people behind you waiting. i stopped here for breakfast this am 10/21/2021. i paid $10.55 for an ultimate breakfast combo and a breakfast jack. this place did not have any coffee. i waited in line for over 15 minutes. they are handing out any thing out that window as long as they can get your money. the customer service here sucks. this establishment should be closed down. but this is the only restaurant open on that side of town after midnight. stay away from this place my breakfast was cold and so horrible. i put it back in the bag, sucker up the loss, and threw all of it away. very bad service--horrible!!!!!!!! no stars read more

If I can give this HORRIBLE place NEGATIVE 5 stars, then I certainly would. They aren't deserving of the 1 star that I have to select in order to submit this review. This is the most unsanitary, disgusting, trashy restaurant that I have ever been in. The workers look horrible and trifling, like they haven't bathed in years. They wear gloves yet, handle your money, make your food, mop the floors, cover their coughs, scratch their behinds, touch their hair and wipe their sweat all while wearing the gloves & fixing your food. I went a couple of days ago, yet when I noticed how disgusting they were, I asked for my money back. I told the brown tooth, sweaty shift leader to return my money asap, because they're unsanitary and disgusting. She refused & got pissed because I called her disgusting self unsanitary & she called the police on me, for absolutely nothing. Now, I'm sitting here, still haven't received my refund OR food. LBVS Anyhow, I'm disturbed with all that I noticed in that restaurant today. I have submitted MANY complaints. So I love jack in the box and have been out of the area for 5 years and moved back in October 2016 only about 2 mins up the road on the bluff. I have probably tried to go to this jack in the box 10-12 times in this period and have been served maybe 3. Each time had been a little late between 11 pm and 1 every time they claim to be closed for matinence ! W tf! I'm not kidding . One time I know they were closed because lineman were put trying to fix power and my husband's a lineman so I get it. But seriously, i can't help but think the staff is lazy and doesn't want to serve people! How could it possible be being serviced or worked on every time I go!? I'm not over aggregating either. My husband eve jokes ever time i make the rub it's closed! I could almost make a million dollar bet and win ever time! That's f-ed up!
