This particular location has slumped. Incorrect orders, food at room temperatures, and a distinctive dip in crew customer service. Additionally, and I know this is nitpicky, but everybody in there looks disheveled. Dirty uniforms, unkempt personal appearance; it just looks like every other fast food restaurant now. I eat at CFA frequently but think maybe a break might be in order. I waited to share this review until I had three consecutive negative experiences there. Bummer. Okay, so I, in general, like Chick-Fil-A, so I normally wouldn't write a review. But I want to share the following... I came to CFA this morning to redeem a reward and get some work done. Since last time I was here, they totally remodeled, and the place looks GREAT! Everyone was super friendly and attentive, as usual. I ordered a free chicken biscuit (woot!) and an egg white grill, no cheese. But I evidently messed up and specified no egg instead of no cheese (mobile order). Not only did they get me up a new sandwich, but they did it free, fast, and with a huge smile. And it tasted amazing. Big, perfectly done, and so tasty. Rock on! Now, I'm working away in the quiet on fast internet watching friendly people serve customers with enthusiasm. I'm telling you what, who wouldn't love this place!?! Moving the Curbside parking lot was a bad call they already had issues with how the set up was before and this seems worse! Having to wait in drive up line because it's so backed up to get into their lot and then waiting again because it's so narrow that you can't go around. Management and owners did a bad call with this set up. My 5 min drive turned into a 25 min wait just to be able to get this. read more

Staff was friendly and the process flawless. The turn around for food was pretty much immediate for three orders. The food was all hot and tasted unusually yum! Not all Chick-fil-A's are equal - this one is definitely a cut above the average chick-fil-a. I only ordered a regular deluxe sandwich w/ Colby jack cheese. More often than not, the sandwich is lazily assembled: chicken half-off the bun, cheese half-off the chicken, etc. I opened the box and was delighted to find a sandwich that was assembled with care, no doubt. Truthfully, it tasted much like other chick-fil-a sandwiches I've had. But the careful construction of the sandwich went a long way in providing a pleasant eating experience. Chik-fil-A is an incredible phenomenon! Where else can you go to get fast, friendly, respectful service along with a great product? Chik is the master of customer service when it comes to efficiency in moving customers through a drive through. My morning Bible study group moved there while the Chik in Belleville is being renovated and refitted for faster drive through service. The in restaurant service is good but the focus is clearly on the drive through and I wonder if they are staffing sufficiently at opening to compensate for the other store being closed. I went to the Fairview heights IL store today at 11:45 to order lunch for my son. The young person taking my order in the drive through was new and understandably a little slower than her coworkers but that's okay everyone needs to learn. She had me repeat my order several times. Had trouble finding the items on her iPad but eventually told me to pull forward so I could pay cash. I waited more than 20 minutes for another more experienced employee to eventually take my money then another 15 minutes watching my food get taken to several other cars before it finally was cold and delivered to my car. The order was not correct and the girl was going to take it back and try a 4th time. I ended up taking the food back inside myself, explained that it wasn't right, it was now cold, I wasn't given a receipt and I wasn't even given straws. The manager didn't attempt to apologize, no one ever said they were sorry for my wait or the expected "my pleasure" and when I had now been at the store and hour I asked for a refund. The manager said she couldn't because I didn't have a receipt. I wasn't given one by any of the 6 employees I encountered. I don't go to Chick-fil-A much anymore and I'm not planning on returning any time soon. Especially to this location. Bad service, no food, horrible training and customer service. read more

I ordered the side salad with honey mustard dressing and the spicy chicken sandwich. When my lunch came I ditched the bun and put the chicken on the salad. Excellent decision.
