Traveled almost 6 hours to get a car. No one asked any info about my car besides pictures, gave me a trade value and once I showed up switched it up on me. They changed the value on my car. Were extremely rude to me making it seem like I did stuff on purpose. One of the issues was my sunroof didn't open. They pressed me on the issue hard after I said I don't believe it's suppose to open. They insulted me like I was dumb and brought a supposed old mercedes employee over who also tried to say it's suppose to open. They all acted snarky and lied right to my face. John said his friend has one and It opens, Joseph is the old Mercedes worker he said he knows for a fact it opens and acted superior and insulting that I questioned it. Tom was the worst he was rude from the beginning and any time I mentioned my own evidence he tried to over talk me and be extremely rude. Peter the general manager wasn't any better all four of them had me in John's office and were treating me like I was an idiot for even questioning them. and in the end come to find out I was right. I'd never buy anything here again and had I not drove 6 hours I would have walked. I got swindled out of my trade in credit and treated worse than I have ever been treated while my family was there. They had no right acting like they did. I'm sure it's all on camera. Also the Tesla didn't even come with the mobile charger to so I can't even charge this when I get home. Yet they want to dock you money on every little thing with your car you don't include including 3000 for that charger. Yet I paid full price. Let me start off by telling you that this is the worst Porsche dealership on the face of the earth. They are the most unprofessional and clueless dealership. I bought a car over the phone, a 2019 Porsche GT3RS. Before the purchase, Jonathan Wein was a great salesman. He knew what to say to ensure me that everyone would be smoothe when in reality it wasn't. I've had countless unprofessional conversations with this CLASS BOOK salesman. I had to get on the phone multiple times, I spoke to his managers Frank Gebbia and David Chais who are completely ignorant. They do not know the policies that Porsche enforces and frankly, I don't know how they are in business. Frank told me Jonathan has to fly to witness me sign paperwork. David would give me the runaround, blame someone else and all do the same nonsense. Once I threatened to call Porsche North America, Evan Gemma jumped in and assisted for a little bit and now we're back to square one. He even begged me to cancel the deal! I had to email my salesman to figure out, where is my signed copies of the contract, 1 month later, if my car is registered and still now where. I won't even get into the shipping nonsense, that's another headache. You would figure that a dealership would give you some type of good service/follow up when purchasing a car for the quarter of million dollars, right? Not to mention I paid an extra $25,000 over the original window sticker of the car. Go figure. Go buy from another dealership. These guys seriously suck. They don't deserve to be a Porsche store. The worst car buying experience, they are not just un-professional, they do not respect the laws, I have to take them to court. I purchased a Porsche Macan in March. At the time of sale I added two insurance contracts that sounded like a good idea based on what the salesman described. Terrible idea! After I read the terms of the policies, I cancelled them immediately (same day), their sales person (who also had an attitude) forgot to mention some material facts about the contracts. The policies were confirmed as cancelled by their issuer (DOWC) a few days later. Since March I am trying to get my refund back from Jack Daniels Porsche. The employee handling my refund (Gil Deoliveria) first gave me false information, now he is no longer responding to my communications. According to NJ law, cancelled insurance policies have to be refunded in 60 days. I have to sue them. Just stay away, I'm never again doing business with Jack Daniels. read more

I had Jeremy on the phone since day one and he walked me through the entire process, including a out of door price. Drove an hour and a half to check out the vehicle, saw various dings and scratches on the wheels and car. David, certified pre owner manager, ensured that those issues will be fixed upon purchase of the vehicle. I had a horrible experience with this dealership. To start off I traveled an hour to the dealer to purchase a Mercedes Coupe I wanted used because I could not afford a new one on a retired teaching salary. I call it my 401(k) car because basically I had saved up most of my years working and had a separate discretionary fund that I used to buy it. While I have to say that Gersch was a very pleasant helpful and friendly sales person, it wasn't long before I started to have problems with the car.And the powers to be The first flag was when I took the car and realized I never received the plates from my trade in. After several calls and attempts to get them I was told they were given to me but I obviously knew they were not. They even agreed to look for them initially knowing full well they hadn't given them to me and then said they must have given them to me. I initially noticed less than honorable service when I picked up the car after being told it was detailed only to see shavings from the former registration on the dashboard dirt in the crevices and smudge marks on the doors and windows. I had the car at home all of two days when the tire check light came on and after taking it in to be checked found out there was a plug in one of the tires. I was told over the phone by the sales rep The car should not of been sold in that condition and they apologized and they were going to replace the tire. Here was the second red flag of less than honorable treatment when they offered to only replace the one tire on a car that had already had 20,000 miles on it with tires that were worn and in less than adequate condition, rather than at least offer to replace the two tires in the back especially when we're talking about a $50,000 machine with a lot of varying suspension and road handling mechanics dependent on proper tires, they planned to replace the one. So I bring my car down to the dealership an hour away and get a replacement car and it takes them three weeks to get me the replacement tires (they finally agreed to the 2 tires after I had to ask to speak to the service manager) When my car is returned I am finally able to have it inspected only to find out my brakes would not pass inspection. In the short tim I had driven it I noticed on a few occasions after braking I would continue close to the car in front of me but to be perfectly honest thought it was a product of some high tech anti lock system I needed to get used to. This is where I honestly become quite disillusioned and distrusting of this vehicle that I have purchased with the thought that it had gone through some type of rigorous screening to ensure a top quality performance and the basic safety I should expect for myself and my family. The reality was it was not checked over at all. Once again I take the vehicle an hour back to the dealership with the inspection print out from the local Mercedes dealership who did the inspection pointing out that not only are the back brakes not passable but the front brakes are also on the cusp of requiring new pads and rotors. Again I am told "this vehicle should never have been sold in this condition" and following a brief period of contention about replacing all of the brakes (they only wanted to change pads and not rotors on the ones that didn't pass) I decided that I really was not comfortable purchasing this car or any used vehicle from this dealer and requested my money back. At the time I was perfectly willing to pay for any reasonable mileage I had put on the car in the very short time that I had it. I estimated approximately 1000 miles with most coming after a planned trip to Maine where my Break pad warning light came on and worried me for much of the trip. To be perfectly honest I had enjoyed the loaner they gave me the first time I had a tire problem that when it became apparent they would not let me out of my purchase I and suggested the possibility of another vehicle, I agreed to a trade the vehicle in thinking they would be reasonable and accept some responsibility for the troubles for the trade in. To make matters worse I was treated like it was a ridiculous request by the sales manager who was arrogant and in no way apologetic or contrite for what I had encountered and Instead hit me up for a $7,500 loss on the trade from what I had paid them about a month prior. I will say even so I felt forced into it I am happy with the overall function and performance of the Porsche Machan but also hopeful to never have to see or deal with this dealership again. read more

I brought my Porsche Cayenne to Jack Daniels because it was stalling. The vehicle would run for 20 seconds or so, then stop. I explained that a community auto repair shop had recently replaced the fuel pump and the the car had run fine for the first four days, until this problem occurred. The Jack Daniels service rep (Brooks) was extremely friendly and provided me with a great loaner car. The next day, he called and reported that they had worked on my car for almost three hours and still did not know what was wrong. They said it was going to take another seven hours to find out what's wrong and wanted me to pre-authorize payment. If I did not want them to go ahead with the repair, I had to pay the three hours labor to diagnose ( $500) and then could tow the vehicle somewhere else, or allowing them to diagnose the problem and pay another 7 hours labor. I really had not choice so I authorized Jack Daniels to go ahead with the repair. What would you do? The next day the the dealer called back and reported that the problem was that the car was out of gas. The community auto repair shop who installed the fuel pump screwed up. They allowed the pump to get tangled in the sensor harness so I ran out of gas, even though the gauge said it was half full. He continued to share "good news" that they only spent a total of eight hours, so I only owe $1700. Does anyone really believe that any certified Porsche mechanic might spend eight hours to figure out a car is out of gas and untangle a hung-up fuel sensor? The community service station that installed the fuel pump only charged 2 hours labor to diagnose the problem and install the pump, so accessing the fuel pump to check it and untangle the sensor wire is not an 8 hour job. True they screw up, but is that why they only charge $75 an hour while the dealer charges $160. Many of us have learned in high school auto shop that if a car runs for a while and then stops, the first thing you check is the fuel. Mechanics who find no fuel pressure put a gallon of gas in the tank to see if that fixes the problem. It is completely outrageous for this dealership to treat customers this way. Everyone expects to pay more for repairs when we bring our cars to our deal, and I don't mind paying a mechanic eight hours pay if he spends eight hours working on my car, but there's a different name for mechanics that do two hours work and charge for ten hours, and that name is Jack Daniels Porsche. read more

This review of Jack Daniels Porsche/ Audi is nearly 50 years overdue. Specifically, the Fall of 1973. At that time, Jack Daniels was located on Broadway, in Fair Lawn, NJ. I bought a 1970 Porsche 914 model that was on their used car lot. The way it looked, it seemed like it had just rolled off the assembly line in Stuttgart, Germany. Far from it. This vehicle had been in a very serious accident with a previous owner(s) and additionally, had several major mechanical issues. This was my 1st experience buying a car and I assumed that everything was legitimate and honest. That was a colossal mistake on my part. When I drove it home after purchasing this vehicle, I barely made it home. The transmission needed rebuilding, the disc brakes pulsated, and that was just the beginning of my nightmare experience with Jack Daniels Porsche/ Audi. Subsequently, their service department worked on this vehicle and failed to make several corrections. It took a letter to their corporate bosses to finally get any meaningful action. In retrospect, the 914/4 model was basically a fraudulent offering. Poorly designed and made from extremely flimsy metals, it had to be a total LEMON, ultimately. My greatest regret is that I bought this car from Jack Daniels Porsche/ Audi way before the State of New Jersey had meaningful legislation, regarding the purchase of used cars. Worst car dealer experience I have ever had. Stay away at all cost. Both my wife and I have been driving Porsche cars for the last 10 years. The worst experience I have had at any car dealership was my recent experience at Porsche at Jack Daniels in Upper Saddle River, NJ. It left me absolutely furious. They made a deal with me on a car, played games trying to increase my cost by 35% after the deal was made only for me to figure out that they were playing this game because they actually decided to sell it to someone else. They don't care about customers and they will lie and do whatever it takes to achieve their goals. This dealership simply cannot be trusted. I received a call from Jack Daniels Porsche with an offer to return my Cayenne SUV twelve months early, reportedly due to lack of inventory. I decided to consider their offer seriously, so reached out to Marc Van Hengst who is a sales guy with whom I worked on my last Panamera lease to get some pricing. They offered me a car that had the features I was looking for that was already in route and would arrive in about a month. I gave them the green light to do the deal. After three days I received a call from the finance manager. He informed me that the monthly price on the car had gone up by 35% over the last three days! Unable to justify an actual answer on why the price had changed so dramatically I decided to bring this matter to the attention of Terrance Taggart, the general manager for the store. This is the list of reasons he gave me to justify the mistake: Sorry the money factor changed. Then followed by: Sorry the sales manager Peter Helou made a mistake when he first calculated the money factor, he was missing a zero. Then followed by: The mistake was all ours but there is nothing I can do to address it. After sitting with Terrance for an hour and him repeatedly trying lie his way out of the situation and "justify" the dramatic increase in cost he could not come up with any rational explanation as to why the monthly lease price went up by 35%. He then proceeded to offer to work out a deal on the car where the price would only go up by 25%. This move was disgusting considering that the car was actually no longer available! I was done with this mess. I asked "Well it sounds like this was all a bait and switch scam and you simply found another customer who was willing to pay more instead of waiting for a car. Is that accurate?" To which I received a vehement "No of course not." So out of curiosity I asked if the car was still available. To no surprise of mine, they then admitted that the car was no longer available. I understand that businesses need to make money, but this experience was a joke. Leased a $109,000 2018 Porsche Panamera for a 39 month lease and the salesman sold me rim insurance (which I thought was a fabulous idea). Getting close to the end of my lease, I make appointment to get my rims serviced. My husband dropped off my car at their dealership expecting the rim insurance to cover the service. 2 days later they call and tell me the rims are not covered because the insurance was for only 36 or the 39 months!!!! When I questioned why they would sell me insurance that wasn't for the entire term of the lease, they said I'm not sure your salesman is no longer with us!!!! Are you kidding me??? They should have had the courtesy to offer the rim service for free considering they scammed me. The only thing they were concerned with is trying to lease me another vehicle.... NEVER!!! They claimed that it was because it was an out of state deal...come to find out that the sold us a car that didn't have a clear title. The previous owner had not signed the title over to them. WHAT A MESS!! They tried to make it up to us by sending us 4 summer tires, that was a flop as well. Not only were 2 of the 4 worn and unusable but they shipped them to the wrong address. I leased an 911 from this dealership. The sales person and the team were very professional and friendly. Unfortunately it was after the fact was an huge headache. Supposedly, the finance manager lost our lease paperwork first time and sales rep send us another set of paperwork via mail which is fine. Then I had literally hound the sales guy each week to follow up on paperwork as I had to waste time each week calling Porsche FS to setup auto payment but Porsche FS had no record of me as a customer. So I had the car for almost two months without payments or record. Finally the sales guy send me paperwork to our office via their driver and we got it done. Meanwhile I was in a process of buying a home and mortgage company found no record of me leasing a porsche(not on my credit history as the car was leased in March and this is July) so my closing almost got delayed and had to do a conference call with Porsche FS, and mortgage company where we wasted time going over my payments history, payments remaining, etc. Overall the worst service I had ever seen among all luxury brands! read more

The first time I called for a price quote, the person who picked up the phone said he'll get back to me shortly, but he never called back. Then the second day the price of the same car went up 2000 dollars, no wonder why he didn't call back. He also sent me the wrong documents for 2 times over the email, I asked why would this happen, don't they check before they send out the email? In the end, I decide to buy from my local dealership and require to cancel the trade, the salesman said since they hold the car for me, they might not return my deposit. And the sales complains how my local dealership tries to make their car look bad because my local salesperson printed out the info of the two cars and let me compare the cars. I love this dealership. They took my 911 in for service and Dwight, the service rep, took very good care of me and my car. They finished the work in one day: all the brakes replaced and front radiator fan replaced. I am very passionate about my vehicle and hate to leave it somewhere for a long period of time.
