We went to Jack Browns Beer and Burger Joint looking for a good burger and man we hit the spot. It was gameday and they was super busy and had a wait which was fine. We ended up sitting at the bar and our waiter did a good job taking care of us. The food I had heard about the Greg Brady burger but it had macaroni and cheese on it. Which I am not a fan of. So I went with the Elvis Burger . Fries don't come with the meal but for 5.99 you can share a basket. Definitely hit this place if you are in town and don't worry about the wait.

Solid burger joint with unique burgers and awesome flavors. It's also a nice place to get a beer with friends. The service was good and we had a great time. I came in with a group of 6 on the Sunday of graduation weekend and we all had enjoyable meals. I will say they have a small menu and it's pretty much just burgers and fries. I ordered the Elvis burger which had peanut butter on it and it was really good and unique. I also ordered some sweet potato fries that were absolutely delicious. Not to mention- they also had my favorite beer, the Paradise Now from TrimTab in Birmingham. We all had a great time and can't wait to stop by next time we're in town.

One of the best places to go to in Auburn! My friends and I go every Tuesday for Bigfoot Bingo and it's such a fun time! The owner, Chris, is an all around great guy and makes all Jack Browns customers feel welcome. Food is great and they have a wonderful variety of beer!

Best burger I've ever had. Very fast service and the workers have a great attitude. Only bad thing was the toilet paper.

The only person visible was at the register. No cooks, staff, etc. mind you this prime time around 5:30-6pm with maybe a few thousand people around. That kind of concerned me. But the girl that took my order was nice and helpful, so because of her we stayed. Well, it started. -fountain drink machine broken -condiment station filthy and dispensers half broken. -no A/C! It was broken too. -went to the restroom, handles and water OFF and faucets broken! (So, might as well take the "Employees must wash hands" sign down!). -bathroom about as filthy a a Chinese Buffet bathroom(IYKYK). -Took about 20 miniutes for 4 burgers and 1 order of fries. -Food was cold when we got it?! -Son ordered wings and they were fried to a crisp, so much they were inedible! So, please just keep on walking. Burger King, McDonald's, Wendy's, all are better and cheaper. Plus, you can was your hands, sit in A/C, and eat warmer (not hot) food. "It's more than a Burger Joint...it's Gourmet" Might want to reevaluate the branding to reflect reality!? Hey, on a positive note...none of got food poisoning, right?!? P.S. I was just reminded by my family...the orders were wrong too!!

Let me start by saying the building is beautiful and the atmosphere feels like a nice restaurant. Also, the cocktail menu was definitely curated by someone who knows what they are doing. The appetizer Barrotta cheese was the best part of the evening. With that being said, the entrees were lackluster and small. Our food came out lukewarm at best and honestly seemed like not a lot of thought went into them. I know that this restaurant is supposed to be upscale, but I don't think I should pay 55$ per persons meal and still leave hungry. Also, the staff needs training. The whole time it felt like they were concerned with fast turn over and nothing else. Part of upscale dining is that the price of food and quality of service is more important than turn over time. Generally speaking I will not be back to eat here again.

We came Valentine's Day weekend from Columbus, GA after attending mass. He really wanted to take me here and I'm so glad he did. We had the bread and butter which was to die for! I think they gave us too much butter over bread ratio, but l'm not complaining haha. So warm, soft, fluffy and delish the bread was. I don't think we talked much when we had our wagyu steak main course cause it was so good, we couldn't say a word to each other. The pepper sauce with the perfectly cooked medium rare steak (which came cut in two pieces, which is a really genius move to serve steak by the way), with white asparagus, caramelized onion, rose petals, and just pure deliciousness. Literally chef's kiss. We also couldn't make up our mind about desserts cause they had a Valentine's dessert menu and the couple sitting next to us also recommended the cookies and milk. Yeah- I'm really lucky and very spoiled. Definitely hit a sugar high, but absolutely worth it. Servers and greeters were also all so kind and attentive. Definitely recommend :) I think this is the nicest dinner anyone has ever treated me to. Thanks for my amazing boyfriend- I'm so grateful.

A friend & I got to drop in for lunch, and it did not disappoint. The decor hasn't changed much - it's still comfortable & clean. There's free parking in the front & sides of the building. Garrett suggested Amsterdam for lunch. Located near the Auburn campus, Amsterdam is one of more well known eateries off campus. Students may not have eaten at Amsterdam, but most can point you in the right direction. I've been tricked by appearances before but Amsterdam is in a category of its own. There's a front and a back part of the building. But I didn't know that until we were led to our table in the back. The front part is a typical "smallish" restaurant with tight booths and tables. The decorations of impressionist painters adorn the walls giving the front dining room a warm inviting feel. When we were led to our table, I thought I was being led to the restrooms. We actually went past the restrooms down a small flight of stairs and into another large room. This beautiful back room was oozing the "hidden wine cellar" vibe throughout. There were tables and chairs in the center with smaller tables and chairs lining one wall and booths on another. Then there's a large full service bar lining the 3rd wall and a workstation on the 4th wall. The ceiling with hanging panels of wood moved the light beautifully and impressed me. There was also a large floor to ceiling wine rack next to our 4 top. Gary tried their Omelet. Three eggs served with conecuh sausage, bacon, onions, peppers, cheddar cheese, and potatoes. With the sourdough toast, the plating was immaculate. I didn't get to taste it, but Gary didn't have any deiicions/ Garrett opted for their Brunch special: Apple & Pecan Freeman toast. When it arrived to our table, we immediately noticed the large slices of French toast. As promised, the French toast was topped with slices of peaches and apples and butter brown sugar with white powder sugar as well. Again I didn't get to taste, but I savored it with my eye. Paul and I tried the Amsterdam Burger. He got some fries as his side, but I upgraded my side to a beautifully plated side salad. With the added fried egg, my patty was grilled to a perfect medium with just a hint of pink. Stacked with it was some lettuce, caramelized onions, applewood bacon, spicy pickles, tomato and their traditional burger sauce all squeezed together between 2 bun halves, it has to be stabbed with a long food pick to hold it together. It was juicy, tasty and just Yom Yom Yom Yom. Our server was attentive and checked on us frequently. Other notable menu items include fried brussels, lobster egg rolls, rum salmon, breakfast croissant, snickerdoodle pancakes, steak & eggs, egg white omelet and shrimp & grits. I was told their Crab Cake & Avocado is to die for. Meal prices are on the high end but Amsterdam understands how to elevate Southern comfort food.
