It was a very warm day (at least 100 degrees) and I wanted the fastest option because going without air conditioning in the Antelope Valley is not pleasant. I decided to have the aging system replaced entirely, and the team at Pennies got right to work. My HVAC unit was completely replaced by the end of the day. Everyone was professional and courteous. The lead technician on the installation was great at communication. The installation of this unit was much better than when we had the old unit installed ten years ago. The workmen were careful with my carpets, cleaned everything up when they were done, and did a great job installing the unit. Great service! I definitely recommend Pennies Air Conditioning, Heating, Solar and Construction and would call them again!

I hired Econo West to replace some parts in my heating unit while we were in the middle of a…read morekitchen renovation. Unfortunately, after the repair, one of the parts they worked on caused a significant water leak that resulted in substantial water damage to my home. To their credit, Econo West came back out and corrected the issue with the heater. The bigger problem came a few weeks later when mold began appearing in the walls affected by the water damage. I spoke directly with the owner and went back and forth with him about the situation. Rather than taking responsibility for the mold damage, I was told that I couldn't prove their leak caused it and that the mold could have already been there before the water damage occurred. The owner also wanted to speak with my contractor because he was concerned that we were trying to get an excessive amount of money out of the situation. Ultimately, I had the damaged areas repaired as part of my renovation and decided not to pursue the matter any further. Had I not been doing renovations, I might have pursued it more, but at that point, the time and stress involved simply weren't worth it to me. I'm leaving this review because I think potential customers should know about my experience. Mistakes happen, and I appreciated that Econo West returned to fix the heater issue. What disappointed me was how the resulting damage was handled afterward. When a repair causes a major water leak, I believe a company should stand behind not only the repair itself, but also reasonably address the damage that resulted from it, especially when it has the potential to cause damage to someone's health. Unfortunately, based on how my situation was handled, I would not use Econo West again. Edit: In response to the comment below, the drywall was not replaced behind the cabinets like you said. In fact, it was my contractor that completed that job. The fix you guys made stopped above the cabinet and the mold was found behind the cabinet, directly below the work completed by your team. I have pictures if you would like to see for yourself. This was all discussed previously with the owner. If what you said in your reply is in the notes, then they are falsified.

I have been using this joke of a company since 2018 when I purchased a swamp cooler from them for my rental property. Twice per year since the purchase of the swamp cooler I have hired them to maintain the unit and for the past 5 years they have literally done nothing and only charged me for "tune ups" and "maintenance"!! Only to find out Climate Heating & Cooling have never once touched the swamp cooler and only charged me. I have attached photos of the current state of the swamp cooler.
