I came to using JA Autowerks after contacting a few "Audi specialty" closer to me. I was looking to get some general maintenance done and a fairly common oil screen filter relocation kit installed. The other shops either had no idea what I was talking about or had some outrageous offers like doing a transmission maintenance without changing the filter. Additional work done included spark plug change and oil change. JA Autowerks is about 100 miles from me. But after speaking with the crew there I knew it was the right place for my 2016 Audi RS7. From the moment I called them for a quote until I picked up the car, communication was spot on. Even with a bunch of people out sick, John the owner called me and met me when I dropped the car off. A few days later I was promptly contacted about the price of some additional items and gave the okay for the work. I didn't get to meet Jason, the tech who worked on my car, but I can tell from the craftsmanship he knew what he was doing. I'm meticulous when it comes how I work on my car, and it looks like Jason is also. Since I was so far, Nick took time out of his DAY OFF to meet me to pick up the car. do not use this place, they are not good people. charged me for engine mounts after an oil change. 6 months later i drop off for an oil change, i leave and all my headlights and blinkers dont work. they refused any blame and didnt take any accountability. on top of that they tried to sell me engine mounts again for another 2300 dollars. i told him you already charged me for that last time, he says they are shot and i dont see it in the system??? what? 2 oil changes, 1st one cost 2300 for work that either wasnt done or was done terribly. 2nd oil change(200 dollars mind you) destroyed my whole electrical system and than played dumb. i also asked what happened to his prior workers who sold me the engine mount. he said they got fired for stealing 12 grand from him. seems like a theme at this place, just screwing people over left and right and not doing the right thing ever. take your car anywhere else. their prices are outrageous, their work is horrific and they lie/have 0 accountability. UPDATE: to respond to the comment below. I would never let this place touch my car ever again. the engine mounts they put in the car 6 months ago are dead already, how is that possible? he refuses to refund after trying to resell me new mounts again. much better places locally. read more

I took a chance to show up at these guys on Monday morning where they were doing a very brisk business. They agreed to take the time to plug in the error reader and give me a sense of whether I could make it home. These guys are very honest, straight forward and accurate. Took my Audi A6 to a local shop down the road prior to JA Autowerks and was giving an estimate of over eight grand to resolve the issues at hand. My gut feeling was something was way off. Sure enough the guys at JA Auto Werks found a vacuum leak not a new turbo and valve clean job. All the other BS would not have ever fixed the problem at hand. I think if you're a European car owner you'd be ecstatic to have a shop like JA as your local go to. I worked with Nick and Jeremy to get aftermarket downpipes and exhaust put into my older generation B8 RS5. It took a while to get the parts freighted (not on them), but once I had them, they got me into the shop ASAP and even noticed the kit was missing some gaskets and handled getting those ordered in. When all was said and done, I feel like I paid a great price to get some work done in just a few days that would have taken me an eternity without a lift. read more

Was in JA Autowerks recently to replace break pads/rotors and through their multi-point inspection, recommended that I replace my car battery which I agreed. It was so easy to talk to everyone there - initially with Jeremy who got me an appointment expeditiously. I was offered a loaner as the service could not get completed in a day, all they asked is return the car with the same fuel level (which was full in my case). I got a call from Mark when the car was ready and when I went to pick up, talked to John and confirmed that they test-drove the car post service.
