Jiffy lube did a good job for me. I have a vehicle that has very specific oil type requirement. The team at Jiffy was happy to use the oil and filter I brought to them. I was charged $50 which is fair given the amount of time they took to do the job. I was a bit nervous because the vehicle requires a specific wrench to remove the oil filter. I would leave negative stars if I could. Jiffy Lube is a scam. Desk man insisted that my car could only have synthetic oil, which is of course the most expensive. My car has less than 20k mile and can take any oil. I asked about website coupons and he said there was only one for $15 and failed to tell me that there was a greater Black Friday special that he had just honored for the person before me. He lied blatantly and by omission! Sadly, this happens to women often at auto related places. I left and went to Asbury Circlle Car wash and had an excellent experience at very reasonable prices -- 50% less than J Lube. I went here for an oil change . Spent $100 on said oil change and when I got home I noticed the mud ferring to my wheel well was completely removed and missing. I don't think, for second this was a mistake. It was complete disregard and laziness to put the piece back on. Such great service! I'm so happy I stumbled upon this place. The guys were all so nice and helpful. I needed an oil change for my Mini Cooper. They didn't have the filter in stock but they promptly ordered it that day! They were efficient, professional and installed the filter properly. I mention this because shockingly some service centers rush the process and don't service the car properly. Not the case here! They even filled my washer fluid which was such a nice surprise! I have to drive quite a distance tomorrow in my wife's car, she told me the tire pressure had been low for 2 days even after putting air in a few times. I had to face the reality. The tire was damaged, the question was quick fix or new tire. I called and got Chris who was very friendly and professional. He said I did not need an appointment and to just come in. I pulled in and was immediately seen. Neither of us could spot the cause so he put it up on the lift. He told me he hoped it was somewhere on the tread and a quick $20 later I could be on my way. Alas it was not to be. My wife's tire had a nail firmly imbedded on the inside wall. He said it was not patchable and he did not have the tire in stock. He made a few phone calls and was able to track down my model of tire. I'm still sitting in the waiting room as they mount it right now. $180 later and I have a new tire. Additionally ever since I left, my air conditioner is making a loud noise when on. But I already know they wouldn't go anything about it seeing some past reviews about major issues. I moved 30 minutes away from WLB and opted to go to the Hazlet Jiffy Lube location based on location. After numerous mishaps in Hazlet (shotty jobs, overcharging, nasty/inappropriate workers, and stinky facility) I am more than happy to take the trip down the Garden State Parkway to service my car in WLB Jiffy Lube. They are honest, personable, have never made one condescending comment to me, and I leave knowing my car was serviced properly. The manager is the best, he does not take advantage of you. New to the area and stopped there yesterday for an oil change on my 2004 Honda Pilot. Met by a young man who immediately said it may be 45 minutes at this time. Didn't matter to me I felt at ease. I am 69 year old woman who had my handicapped friend with me. I drove the car around back and he walked me to the waiting room apologizing again. It did take 45 minutes he came out several times to get info on my car etc. He even took the coupon which was on my phone without seeing it. To my pleasant surprise, they had what was then a decade of Jiffy Lube support from another store at their fingerprints. Jiffy Lube is my 'Go to" auto service center. My car has not yet seen the inside of a Toyota shop. The service I get at West Long Branch is superb. They are friendly, fast, honest, and clean. What else could I want? Oh- the price. I had two problems with Jiffy Lube at this location. A few years ago I brought my new car to them for a standard oil change. They neglected to put the oil cap back on and by the time I got home I had oil all over my engine and dripping onto the pavement. When I called them..they were less than accommodating. I went back to Jiffy Lube at this location March 2013 different car..thinking how could a simple oil change go wrong again. The day after my oil change I had my annual brake inspection but the check engine light was on. The brake servicemen attempted to check my oil but discovered the oil stick was broken off into my engine. I called Jiffy Lube and after 10 minutes waiting for the manager they found my account. Mind you at the time of oil change the recommendations were for future wiper blades etc. nothing about a worn oil stick. They told me they found notation that I had a worn oil stick. Kind of funny when that wasn't one of their recommendations. Also the car is a 2010 that I bought brand new 0 miles at the end of 2011 from a dealership. I hardly think an oil stick falls apart that quickly. Anyway my warning to all ...use a different facility or a different company all together. Called dealership and they have ordered me a oil stick..cheap but unnecessary waste of time to have to do. read more

Went there yesterday to try and get a standard oil change. I was told they are always slow to get the job done at this location but I needed an oil change and was in the area so I went anyways. As I pulled in the gentlemen was very friendly, but explained to me that they were short handed so it would be at least 20 minutes until they looked at my car . Always accommodative and terríficas a quick turn-around. In literally no time at all time, my brake pads were on site from a call I made only ten minutes before.. I needed brakes in a hurry, and it wasn't going to be an easy job, the old trucks rotors have always been a bear to change. Came in for a routine oil change. The employee working on my car failed to properly secure the hood. Within minutes of pulling out of the shop, while driving, the hood flew up, cracking the windshield and bending the top corners of the hood. The shop would not accept responsibility, even though they were the last people to touch the hood, the hood had never flipped up before, and hasn't since. They reference a video showing he checked to make sure the hood was closed. The video shows the worker checking the hood, but it's clear that his attention is focused elsewhere because he's looking away and having a conversation while he's giving a slight tug on the hood with only his left hand. Despite the video evidence, they refuse to accept responsibility. I was told by regional manager Victor that my only option was to file a claim with my insurance and have the insurance go after them. In order to avoid going through insurance and to just resolve the situation, I agreed to split the cost of the windshield replacement with him. DO NOT GO TO THIS SHOP. UNPROFESSIONAL. DO NOT ACCEPT RESPONSIBILITY FOR THEIR MISTAKES. read more

I went in the middle of the day on Saturday and did not have to wait long, perhaps 30 minutes max. The attendants were prompt and professional and did not try to sell me a bunch of stuff I didn't need, even though they knew I would do what they suggest. I went for an oil change and learned it includes an inspection, fluids, vacuuming the interior and cleaning the windows. They honored the coupon I found online and I got out of there for about $50 and 40 minutes of my time. They must be reliable because there were several regular customers ahead of me. How do they run out of filters? They called around and found one. They were very courteous. Tried to up sell wiper blades for outrageous price. I declined. This is a better experience than I expected, as I'm leery of oil change shops having had bad experiences at many of them. They did a thorough check on brakes, fluid levels and anything else while the car was in the bay. Suspicious problems are referred to the proper technician to check it out and he, in turn, relayed the findings to me with the options such as needs immediate or later attention. Well it started ok, came in for a signature high mileage oil change, which includes a thorough check of fluids and filters. $71...service was performed quickly , and vehicle was moved out of bay for my departure. Upon starting vehicle i noticed service engine light was still on, even though I made sure to ask to have it reset .No one could seem to reset it so I did it when I got home after watching a 30 second you tube video. Checked my bill after I left and noticed a recommended air filter change. Complete BS because I changed it myself a week ago. I wonder what other "services" were not performed.
