While he didn't find a solution at that time, Royal Flush arranged for an entire team and a heated, mobile porta-potty to be delivered first thing the next morning. The Royal Flush team worked all day - super nice and collaborated with the city public works team to find a solution. Ultimately, it turned out to be a bigger issue, but I cannot tell you how amazing the team at Royal Flush is - they were flat out the best plumbing team I've ever experienced.

I had recently purchased a new home and had only lived in it for 30 days before their plumber's negligence caused my basement to flood. I had paid $7,000 for a sewer line replacement, and despite taking my full payment, the plumber failed to complete the job. He had left my home exposed from the outside, allowing water to pour in during a storm three weeks later. This was no accident -- it was pure negligence. When he finally returned after the flooding, he casually admitted that he had been supposed to come back three weeks earlier to lay cement over the area he worked on but failed to do so. That level of carelessness was completely unacceptable. Because of his negligence, I had to endure devastating damage. My finished basement had to be gutted -- all the drywall was ripped out, mold remediation had to take place, my engineered hardwood floors were destroyed, and I had been dealing with contractors in and out of my house. Two and a half months later, the situation was still ongoing. I still had no floors. My drywall was still missing. My home remained a disaster and unusable, and I hadn't been able to enjoy it since the nightmare began. To make matters worse, I had to miss several days of work to manage the non-ending contractors, all while enduring the overwhelming stress of the constant repairs. On top of that, a strong odor lingered in my house, making it even more difficult to live in. I was forced to stay in a hotel and with family for a while. I am a mother of a two-year-old, and the strain this placed on my family was immeasurable. What was even more appalling was the complete lack of accountability from K Harris Plumbing. Despite everything I went through, I never heard again from Kenny the plumber again after he returned after the flood to put cement on the neglected area. He put me in contact with his insurance company and that was it. This happened in February 2025. Since then there was no follow-up, no check-in to see how I was managing, and absolutely no effort to make things easier for me. Even after I reached out to the company/ Kenny the Plumber via email to explain the severity of the damage they caused and how it turned my life upside down. I was ignored. Not even a single apology or a partial refund. I deeply regret my decision to hire this company. It was devastating to invest in a new home only to have it ruined by the very people I trusted to do their job. That's $1183 total, before any work was actually done to resolve the clog (because it would involve going under slab). I found out after getting estimates from 5 other local plumbers that they do not charge for line location; that it's seen as standard and part of the job--you don't cut through slab without making sure where the lines are. I'm not sure if the plumber was aware of this but I wrote an email to explain what I found and asked for a credit. I am following up on the email and will leave this here because currently this reflects my sadness and disappointment at what happened. To be fair--Britt responded quickly to the call, and was very good about following up--and he did a reasonable quote for the slab work/replacement portion. However I just couldn't figure out why he would charge me so much for locating the line if that's something other plumbers are not charging extra for, especially such a high amount. As a new homeowner I didn't know and I was overcome with panic so I just paid it. I will update this review if they refund me.

Atlanta Star Plumbing works with Mike Hampton Restoration company to commit fraud. The plumbing…read morecompany told me it was a plumbing issue and to contact their friend Mike to do restoration on my home. Mind you my carpet was wet in a small area. Hampton Restoration comes out and attempts to file a fraudulent claim with my homeowners insurance for $20,000. Turns out I didn't have a plumbing problem. My carpet was wet because I had a hole in my roof. Atlanta plumbing lied because they were in on the fraud attempt. The fraud didn't work. I got my roof fixed and the carpet is now dry.
