I had to make an urgent stop at the shop today because I had a flat tire and air was leaking out. They were able to get me in right away, and it only took less than an hour to fix the tire. The total came to about $53, including taxes, for one tire. They have the highest Google rating in my area--which is why I chose them. I really hope I won't have to go back for the same issue again. I also hope they stand behind their work with a good warranty. So far, I'm very happy with the service--they really deliver prompt and efficient work that meets my needs. J Murray was awesome! Journey Auto is not. Scammers! I dropped my car off for a brake job. They called me later to tell me my car as unsafe. Replacing the controller arm was a priority. They said it really needed front end suspension replaced. They quoted $3000 for the list of items. My car is less than 5 yrs old with only 70k miles. I had it inspected elsewhere and was told there was NOTHING wrong with the controller arm or any part of the suspension. Scammers! I will never go back there again. Don't trust them! read more

He thoroughly explained his findings,gave me the price up front which by the way was super reasonable. After the initial repair the tech found another issue,and instead of trying to strongarm me on getting work done he gave me several options on what to do. Brought my car in after a bad slip in the snow, left it overnight came back the next day the younger guy said he drove the vehicle (which I didn't drive because the car wouldn't move) around to the Bay. He said he had to rev it high. J Murray (I assume the older guy) said that never happened that they had pushed my vehicle. The two of them had differing stories on how they got my inoperable car into bay. I generally believe the younger guy because I had a terrible burnt rubber smell for the following two months lingering in the car. He then quoted me $3000 to fix. Claimed I need a whole new suspension set up and the subframe was compromised. I took it elsewhere. Had it towed the same day. The tow truck driver looked at it and said "looks like a control arm problem". Sure enough the shop I took it to said exactly that , it was a control arm. Costed $250 plus the part and the car was as good as new. After that experience seeing that the guy I assume was the owner had no issue lying to my face and then wanted to quote me for more than what was wrong is saying alot about this scam.i just hope the younger guy that revealed how they mishandled my car learns to not be decietful to customers like the Mr.j Murray If you don't know how to change your oil or the weather is bad then just take it here.but don't be fooled about getting things fixed by these liars read more

John Murray, Bob C & crew are great. Guy or Girl they will treat you with respect and integrity. My husband Tony and I have known him for a very long time. Though Tony is a very good parts-changer there are still repairs he will not attempt and John is always happy to do any needed service. My car wouldn't start and had to be towed. AAA said J. Murray was close by, so that was where I decided to have it towed. They were clearly pretty busy, but got my car in fairly quickly to take a look and let me know if they would be able to fix it the same day or not - which was so great, since I was kind of stuck there and didn't want to call for a ride unless I had to. They diagnosed the problem, gave me a quote (which, according to my quick Googling, was totally fair) and got it fixed as soon as possible. While it would have been great if my car hadn't broken down, I was very pleased with my experience at J. Murray and will absolutely use them again if I have a problem in the area.
