I could not give a higher praise to Dr. Bayless and his staff! I've been going there since 18 months (so my mother told me) and have managed to weasel my way back in for visits well beyond my "pediatric years". I was never the kid who "hated going to the dentist" because there was nothing to fear when going in for clean ups, x-rays, or even getting my sealant done. I've grown up in front of Dr. Bayless and his staff and have always looked forward to my appointments, even in my college years. If I never had to go to a new dentist, I wouldn't!!! The staff is beyond amazing! They are always friendly and love hearing about how every patient is doing in school, at home, or anything specific that that always seems to remember about you! I always leave with a cleaner smile and some sort of fun goodies beyond the standard toothbrush. (My favorite is the pumpkins I've gotten when going in during the fall!) Dr. Bayless and his staff offer more than a highly professional dentistry, but a community of healthcare providers that take great pride in providing a personable relationship with the patient and family! My whole experience from scheduling my daughter's first dental appointment until the actual day has been smooth sailing! They had a lot of reminders via email and text to remind you of your appt. On top of that, you can print out the first visit paperwork and it helps minimize wait time at the office. There was no wait time literally, we were in and out! The staff is friendly and the waiting room is kid friendly! Dr Bayless is amazing with kids, he has that calm demeanor and I love the way he explains things, to the point and you are done! Dr. Brandi (Dr. Bayless Team) and her staff were AMAZING today! It was our first visit and I could not be more sad that we can not take them with us where we are moving. The front office was kind, caring, worked with me and got us in and out very quickly. Dr. Brandi and her girls were amazing to watch... a well choreographed team... working together so efficiently. I felt right at home instantly and my 7 year old didn't want to leave. Being someone who was terrified of dentists until a couple of years ago, it is important to find a dentist group like this. A positive dental experience is crucial for setting a foundation for healthy, pro-active, dental health and this office has gone above and beyond to make that foundation a strong one. I took my two daughters (18 mo. & 4yrs) to Dr. Bayless because we had poor experiences elsewhere and our previous dentist had done nothing in two years to help my 4 year old overcome her fears. Whenever we would go to the dentist she would cry and panic and could barely sit through the visit (she was never able to get a cleaning). The first visit with Dr. Bayless was so amazing!!! Not only did he and the hygienist comfort her and get her through an entire cleaning but they made her so happy that when we left she begged to go back and visit him. My 18 month old also enjoyed her first visit. We received a commemorative photo for her baby book after her cleaning and she's actually smiling! Dr. Bayless also gave me the tips I need for brushing and flossing their teeth and tips on a healthy diet. Both my girls loved his magic tricks too! I'm very confident in Dr. Bayless and his staff. I didn't feel "rushed" during the appointment. But I do know that his objective is to provide quick cleanings for the kids. This is so they don't feel stuck in a chair or stuck in an uncomfortable position. He's also an energetic doctor which makes him appealing to kids - still I never felt like any of my questions were not fully answered. He took all my concerns seriously. The appointment overall was quick but completely solid and informative. The best part is my daughter is over her phobia and actually WANTS to go back. That's the best thing I could ask for!!! We had a bad experience here with Dr. Faia. Reading these reviews makes me think we saw a very different doctor than everyone else. A bad day, perhaps. She was condescending to me, held my daughter down (screaming) to give an unnecessary demonstration of tooth brushing, and questioned why I was still nursing a two year old. .....I was in tears after this visit. My daughter who had been happy brushing teeth before the visit took several months before I could get her to happily brush her teeth again. read more

I drive from Salinas for all my children's dental visits. I have been going to Dr. Bayless since my first was about two years old. She's twelve now with braces and everything. The care that both my girls receive at this office is superb. Well worth the drive. Everyone is very caring and experienced at woking with young children. My kids love their dental visits. My husband and I are fairly new to the area and with busy schedules, it can be challenging to find a good Pediatric Dentist we can trust. After posting on another FB/military friendly site inquiring about a great Dentist in the area, I received quite a bit of replies recommending Dr. Bayless. Making the appt was easy, the staff is friendly and Dr. Bayless not only got some smiles from Maddie (who by the way will be 1 in two weeks), but he showed me some amazing techniques on how to brush her teeth to ensure she doesn't get any cavities. We had a great experience here. Maddie hasn't been feeling well (cutting molars) so she did spit up a little bit, but the staff quickly and efficiently cleaned it up and actually took my flip flop (she had a direct hit on my toes, eww)and cleaned it off. Not only does this show their consideration, compassion and understanding, but their patience as well. I look forward to bringing Maddie in for annual checkups and would recommend Dr. Bayless to anyone. read more

I have been seeing Dr. Bayless for as long as I can remember. He is by far the best dentist ever. He always put me in a good mood, always puts a smile on my face, the hardest part is not laughing while they are cleaning my teeth. The staff is absolutely wonderful, everybody is very friendly, and very good around kids.. As somebody who has grown up seeing Dr. Bayless, I can say he has made me very comfortable about getting dental work done, and even looked forward to it as a young kid, getting a sticker and getting to pick out a toy. The wonderful staff is not all they have going for them, they have a top notch facility. In the waiting room they have a kids area, with a tv as well as an xbox 360 to keep the kids preoccupied while waiting. Then once taken into the office there is a lot of toys and games, cloud covers on the lights, a personal Ipod touch to play on while waiting. Also if you need to have any cavities filled, I have had a couple done there, they have flat tv's on the ceiling that lets you watch a movie while they fill your cavity. All and all I absolutely love Dr. Bayless, he is fantastic, wonderful, grade a dentists. I would highly recommend him to anyone. read more

I take my two daughters to see Dr. Brandi Faia in Dr. Bayless' office. She is amazingly patient, kind, and thorough. The staff in the office is kind and helpful on the phone and even better in person. One of my daughters has had a few tough experiences at the dentist and Dr. Brandi and the staff are so kind and patient, even when she is screaming and crying. It amazes me. I have nothing but rave reviews about Dr Bayless and his amazing staff! My son was 5 the first time i took him to the dentist (yes I know, i waited way too long, spare me the lecture). My sons teeth have always been white and shiny and Ive made sure to brush, rinse and floss with him twice a day almost his entire life. My dentist said to take him to a pediatric dentist so I did what I do and turned to Facebook. Almost every person that responded said to take him to Dr Bayless. AND THEY WERE SO RIGHT!!! From the minute he walked into the office, my son was hooked. While we waited, he played video games and watched TV in their special kids TV "loft". The office is super clean and everyone that worked there was smiling, which is HUGE for me. They eased him into the chair, never forcing or impatient and gave him an iPod Touch to play with. MAJOR POINTS for this kid! They joked with him to make him feel at ease and Dr Bayless did magic tricks! When it was time for x-rays, the assistant explained EVERY step to my son and involved him in the process making sure he was comfortable. They involved him in the explaination and encouraged me to sit next to him instead of making uncomfortable by having me sit far away. He didnthave any cavities but they were concerned about one broken tooth in the back and they wanted him to come back so they could cap it. Because they use gas to relax him, they gave him a plastic nose peice to take with him so he could practice becoming comfortable with it for his next appointment., which helped. They even gave him a toothbrush and a toy. At his next appt he RAN into the office. He jumped right into the chair and laid back and was READY. They put the mask on him and headphones so he could watch cartoons on the ceiling while they worked on him. He did so great becauee he was aware of what was going on every step of the way and was involved and nothing was scary at all to him. As we were leaving, I made his 6 month appt and when we walked out he said he cant wait for June! im so glad that i found Dr. Bayless. Ill never take my son to anyone else!!!! read more

Our 17 year experience with Dr Mark Bayless and his staff have been exceptional and beyond what has become the norm for patient-doctor relationships. I have two sons who he began seeing Mark at 3 and 6 years old when a local dentist referred us to his office (they are now 20 and 23). Whenever there has been an dental issue, he and his staff have taken their time to answer my detailed and exacting questions, giving me options for treatment, and the costs involved upfront. They have always involved my sons in describing care and treatment at age appropriate levels. A visit to the Dr Bayless is personal -- the entire staff knows all of us by name and are genuinely happy to see us. It is not only a time to get teeth cleaned and x-rays, it is time to catch up with each other since the last six months. Hands down the best dentist on the peninsula! From the front office staff to the hygienists to Dr Bayless himself. My daughter is a very nervous dental patient and Dr Bayless and his staff handled her tantrums with ease- not easy to do! She now can sit in the chair by herself!! They are a very fun, informative, understanding and caring group. They have handled every dental situation for my 2 children with great expertise. I would never think of going somewhere else. In addition to the above their office is fully geared towards children. They have movies and video games in the lobby. They have gameboys for the patient on the exam chairs and put little sunglasses on them so their eyes don't get blinded by the bright exam lights. In the treatment room (fillings, extractions etc) they have a movie playing on the ceiling to keep your child happy and patient. I was a patient of Dr Bayless' when I was a child and would still be going there if I could!! I have referred countless people to this office and they feel the same as I do. I've never heard a bad comment about them. We love our dentist!! :) read more
