We are so lucky to have such a wonderful pediatric dentist in our area! Dr. Jackie is amazing! She does such a wonderful job with our son! They have so much patience, very clean facilities that are child friendly, and are very honest and fair in their practices. Office manager Gaby took the extra time to help us with questions from our insurance, which is BRMS out of network. Office staff printed out receipts and made sure we knew how much it was going to be with the added procedure that was needed. 5 stars all the way!! read more

I have been taking my kids for years and have had a couple negligent incidents but I figured it happens. As of this experience I will not return to this office. They have no ownership of their wrong doing. They did a procedure on my daughter without the doctor discussing it with me. I had to pay out of pocket. I felt taken advantage as a patient. Their office staff did not want to assist me to pay. read more

The office is friendly and clean and easy to get an appointment. I took my toddler here for a checkup. They charged for a deep cleaning which wasn't explained why. I don't think a toddler under the age of two can have gum disease or signs of gum disease when they barely have all their teeth. Tartar buildup should be part of your routine cleaning. Also too pushy with taking a photo of my toddler even though clearly did not want to. I would have been a regular customer but the trust isn't there. read more

I am beyond grateful for this place. The staff are all around very professional and kind. Both of my kids get their dental work here and the doctors and other staff have been very helpful and patient with my kids. For reference, one of my kids is autistic and the other one just screamed every time someone tried to look in his mouth. He has had too many blood draws for any youngster to get at his age and so it took some time for him to warm up to the dentists. They have monitors for the kids to watch during their procedures and the walls are covered in kid friendly characters, etc. They even allow the parents to go in the back with the kids and sit by them to watch and keep their kids calm, etc. I used to have a nightmare office that would make us all wait in the parking lot for our appointments and wouldn't let the parents/guardians come back with their children. It seemed pretty fishy to me, because I didn't want them to do anything to my kid without my permission especially since my kids are still minors. That is why this place has been such a breath of fresh air. I cannot stress how impressed I am by this business. Even today, I went in to see if my kid could get a replacement balloon for the one he accidentally let go of the other day and they were so kind about it and gave me one. My son had been so heartbroken about it and as a parent, I wanted to make him happy. The ladies that helped me were so kind and assured me that we were family and that our happiness was all they wanted. I don't know about you, but that shows me that this is a great business. read more

We live in Hollister and when I found out the pediatric dentist here wasn't taking patients I didn't know what to do. I called a friend and she recommend little bristles. With this being a 35-40 minute drive for us my husband said "this better be worth it", and it absolutely was. We had my 3 yr old and 14yr old seen there today. It was my 3yr olds first appointment. I was amazed! The staff was kind and caring. The communicated well and my 3yr old did so well! They sat her next to her brother so she could see him having the same things done. She was so comfortable with Yaya that she walked into the next room with her to get her X-rays no problem. She's not a toddler that lets me out of her sight ever and we've had issues finding sitters she will stay with so this was HUGE! Yaya indulged my very chatty toddler as she brought up friends from school, her cousins, all the things she has done this week and more. The dentist Dr Do was so amazed at how well her X-rays turned out for her being 3. When it came to my 14 yr old they were able to level with him. Anyone who has teenagers knows it's hard to get them to listen. So they explained to him all he needed to do to improve his oral care so I don't have to argue with him at home. The experience was incredible from the moment we walked in the door all the staff was attentive, kind, patient and courteous. We will be making the 35-40 minute drive until my 3yo is ready for an adult dentist. read more

I have both my kiddos going to little Bristles, today was my first time taking my 8 month old baby girl so I wasn't sure how well it was going to go. I must say I love this place! The staff are always super friendly and sweet! And I have had the privilege to meet both dentists and they are both amazing! Can't go wrong at this place! I've always wanted to find a dentist that truly care for their patients but also don't make the parents feel bad if something is wrong with your child's teeth! They are beyond what I could ask for! I love this place!!! Best child Dentist I've ever been to!! read more

Best place for kids dental needs, definitely recommend. My son loved everyone. Great customer service.

Dr. J.L. was very nice when they first opened and for 2 years after that. We had bad experiences on the 3rd and 4th time and never returned. My son used to like them, but he started feeling more pain each time he went there. He never used laughing gas, but had to use it on the 4th year there. It's like my son would get hurt on purpose, and they would do something he didn't really need to have done. read more

Took my 8 month old son to the dentist for the first time and it was the best experience!!

I've been bring my twin boys here for the last two years. They have been the first dental practice to see my boys after turning 1. The two and only pediatric female dentists that work here are both terrible! One of my boys fell and his front tooth started to discolor right away indicating nerve damage to the tooth. I explained what happened over the phone and they told me to come in so the Dr. Lo can see him. SHE CAME IN THE ROOM FOR A TOTAL OF 10 SECONDS AND IMMEDIATELY LEFT AFTER SAYING SHE CANT DO ANYTHING!!! My three year old was asking if the Doctor could fix it and I felt beyond upset with the Doctor for the very little time she spent with him and the cold shoulder she was giving off the entire time. As soon as my wife was about to leave they let us know that we had to pay the amount of $240.00 for the visit which they did absolutely nothing besides take one X-ray!!!!!! I let them know right away how I felt and thay this felt like extortion. Needless to say I will not be paying and will be escalating this with The Dental Board of California. Not even one month after the visit I started getting collection letters lol what a bunch of scam artist!!!!!!!! GO SOMEHWERE ELSE UNLESS YOU WANT TO PAY HIGH PRICES FOR A BUNCH OF DENTAL ASSISTANTS PARADING AROUND AS DENTIST!!!!!!!!! read more

Staff laughed at us because my daughter was crying. They will also expect you to pay $2800 out of pocket for general sedation (Anesthesiologist does not except any insurance). If your child is scared of dentist don't go here its a waste of time and money. I asked if my child could be treated with an alternative sedation but they did not except and it cost me $180 just for the dentist to look at my daughters teeth for 5 minutes and talk to us for another 5. Only plus side is the place looks nice and they give your child a free balloon. Also, the xray machine does not work properly and they will still charge you for xrays. read more

If I could give more stars, I would. The staff here is amazing, from the front desk to the hygienists to Dr Lo herself. Everyone is warm and friendly, and my anxious kiddo has zero hesitation when we show up for her appointments. Highly recommend Dr Lo and her staff. read more

Super friendly staff and doctor. Everyone made me and my daughter feel welcomed and comfortable.

It's sad to see that good pediatric care has been lost to maximize insurance cost. Fancy equipment doesn't translate to better service. The dental hygienist took less time to complete a dental cleaning than what my six year old takes to brush her teeth in a lazy day. My daughter even expressed that her teeth didn't feel clean. Go figure... Also, the provider took 30 seconds on the periodic exam charging $83 just to confirm that pediatric care is not in there interest. Hope 2022 can be a better year in customer service p.s. I am still waiting for the x-rays via email that the front office was supposed to send to my email. read more

Dr Lo, Dr Jackie and staff are amazing. All very professional and friendly. My kids use to hate to visit the dentist and now they ask to go. Every visit is a treat for the kids. They walk out with a sticker, a prize and a balloon and of course a clean smile. This office is designed just for kids. The staff truly cares about the children. Office is always clean. The waiting area alone is very inviting for kids as they have many toys to play with while they await their turns. When I first brought my kids here, My daughter had a cavity in between her two front teeth. Rather that trying to extract or put the silver crowns like other Dentists automatically wanted. Dr Lo shaved the cavity and monitored it every visit my daughter after 3 years just lost those baby teeth and has her adult teeth Thanks to Dr Lo she never had to have those silver crowns. I highly recommend read more

was debating on leaving a review... the front desk staff were lazy and when I asked to speak to a manager. The front desk staff was a manager! The name started with a G want to say it was Gabby. I don't ever write yelp reviews but today we went in for a procedure that had us both a little nervous. I'm not even sure why we were! Everytime we go in, for any procedure, it has always been pleasant for my daughter! Little Bristles is AMAZING! The staff- AWESOME! I've always thought this but wanted to help anyone out who's searching for a pediatric dentist, this place is it! Been going since before Covid when my daughter was 3, she just turned 8. read more

I was so pleased to have taken my toddler daughter to Little Bristles. My 3 yr old daughter is so shy and does not do very well with new faces but Kristi made her feel so comfortable. I was surprised as how well she did throughout her visit. She left saying " i love the dentist". As far as the wait time, it was less than 10 minutes. As soon as I was done completing checkin-in we were called in. I definitely recommended little bristles to any parent searching for the right dentist. read more

Awesome Pediatric Dental Office! My 2 year old had is 1st dental visit there and we both loved it!!

I am impressed with Little Bristles. My kids have been going there for a while and it's been a very good experience. Dr. Lo is absolutely the consummate pediatric dentist. Her level of care and professionalism are outstanding. My daughter just had to get fillings for the first time and I have to say that my impression of Little Bristles went from "very good" to "EXCELLENT!!!" The staff is patient, understanding, and caring, including our assistant who was very knowledgeable and accommodating. The process of getting the fillings was so much easier than I expected. It was done with laser technology, didn't require numbing of the gums, and my daughter had no issues. She was able to have lunch immediately after with her balloon, free toy, and stickers. Congratulations to Little Bristles for bringing together a SUPERIOR level of staff, service, and treatment. This truly is as good as it gets. read more

I'll start off saying how amazing this pediatric dental practice. My 15 month daughter had a horrible experience with her last dentist; lack of patience, didn't try to make her feel comfortable at all, and it didn't feel like we mattered as clients there. However, Little Bristles is the complete opposite! From the front to all the way back the staff and Dr. Jackie were so sweet! Our dental technician, Julia, was a complete sweetheart! She greeted my daughter and made sure she was comfortable and happy the whole time. She even gave her a balloon to help distract her during the mouth examination. Dr. Jackie was so great with my daughter! I can't express how great everyone at Little Bristles are! I'm so happy I found a great dental practice for my daughter to genuinely be excited and love going to. read more

I would never recommend little bristles to ANYONE. I am against putting a sliver cap on my child, and requested a white cap & they pretty said no due to that procedure taking "too much time" WHAT A JOKE. Then they continue to tell me they will be canceling all of my children appointments due to me disagreeing with the dentist because I said I would rather have a white cap. read more

They're so nice, all staff and Dentist. My child didn't cry once and she love the goodies given to her. Definitely recommend to others!

We took our 2 and 3-year old boys to the dentist for the first time today. We heard about Dr. Lo from a friend in town. We couldn't have been more happy with the office, staff, Dr. Lo, or the service that our boys received! The office is pretty much brand new. The waiting area has tons of stuff for the boys to play with while waiting. The staff greeted us and were super friendly. There are cute wall decals of pretty much any cartoon popular with kids that you can think of all over the place. The hygienist was very gentle and worked well with the boys. Dr. Lo was equally gentle with them during their exam. They had a good selection of movies for the boys to watch on a suspended flat panel hanging over the kids during the exam. The boys left with a prize from the prize box, a few stickers, a balloon, a bag of dentist goodies and their picture on the "No Cavity Club" wall (with a picture sticker and a certificate to take home.) Very cool! I can't stress how modern and up-to-date this office feels. They have what seems to be a great website for patient data and they prefer to communicate via email and text message if you like. I even liked the music they had playing. All of their equipment and tools look new and the facility looks top notch. We almost took the kids to my adult dentist, but a last minute cancellation with them drove us to "Little Bristles" almost by accident. We've only been once, but from this singular experience, I couldn't be happier that we ended up here. It would have been my first choice if I had seen it before first hand. I would say its even nicer than my adult dentist :) If you're looking for a Pediatric Dentist in Salinas, I would head to this office first. We'll be driving all the way from Hollister and couldn't be happier to do so! Recommended. read more

Dr. Jackie and her team were very friendly, warm, and professional. Our son had a bad fall and injured both of his top front incisors. He was always scared of doctors and was crying hard when he was seen by Dr. Jackie. We were afraid that Dr. Jackie might give up on him with all of his crying and screaming, but she and her team were very patient and managed to take an x-ray of my son's teeth. We were relieved to know what is really going on with his teeth and that enables us to better manage his future treatments. Thank you Dr. Jackie and your team for being so patient and kind! That's what a hurting toddler and a distressed parent really need. read more

I love Little Bristles! The staff is so attentive and quick to take care of you. My kids hated the dentist before coming to Little Bristles and now they look forward to coming.
