If you're looking for top-tier paint and bodywork, especially for a high-end or specialty vehicle…read morelike a Corvette, Body Work by Fischer in Westfield, NJ is the real deal. I brought my C8 Corvette to Dave to have some aftermarket parts professionally painted. I've worked with a lot of shops over the years, but Dave's attention to detail, transparency, and genuine passion for the craft stood out from the start. He took the time to go over every aspect of the job with me, made sure the color match was perfect (not easy with a finish like Carbon Flash), and the final result was flawless. You'd never know those parts didn't come straight from the factory. And just as important--Dave didn't treat this like just another job. He respected the car, appreciated what I was trying to do with it, and made sure the quality lived up to my expectations. There's a reason Body Work by Fischer has such a loyal following in the area. Family-run, honest, and meticulous--they're everything you want in a body shop. If you're a Corvette owner or just someone who wants it done right, Dave's your guy.

Surprisingly, a few shops even refused to repair my Tesla Model Y wheel arch quarter panel. Since King's was on their way to my sister-in-law's place, I gave them a chance. Alex and his team were incredibly professional and efficient. They managed to fix my car in one day before their vacation, which was a huge relief. The job came out perfectly, and the service was excellent. They were honest, reasonable, and transparent about the pricing. It's no wonder Tesla insurance is so expensive. King's provided a high-quality repair service at a fair price, which is a rare combination in the automotive industry.

For the last job done, I got a quote at C&L Autobody before going to Plains Auto. C&L didn't give me the time of day and created incorrect estimates. After I went to Plains Auto and did the work with them, they did a perfect job for significantly less cost than what C&L would've charged. When I got my car back, I was actively looking for imperfections, misalignments, mismatched color, etc and I couldn't find a single flaw in their work. Look at the attached photo, the car you see there was previously deemed a total loss by my insurance. It now looks and drives perfectly. Plains Auto is an easy recommendation for anybody with a car that has seen better days. Ask for Angelo and he will take care of you.
