This was my experience with J&E Autobody. To start it took 7…read moreweeks to fix my wife's car. After 7 weeks we finally got the call that the car was "ready". By the time we got there it was already dark so I couldn't really see what had been repaired on the car. The next morning I started looking around the car and I noticed that the bumper they had replaced had multiple scratches in the front. The splash guard that was damaged during the accident was still the same and it had not been replaced. The underbody shield that was also damaged in the accident was also not replaced. All of these parts were on the preliminary supplement and were paid by my insurance company $118.41 for the underbody shield and $34.51 for the splash guard. All of these parts should of been replaced but J&E Autobody did not replace them. Also, the calibration on the car and the alignment was completely off. I was driving on the Parkway and the car kept moving from side to side on it's own while I was trying to keep the car straight. Very scary. They did not detail the car inside or out and the interior of the car was all dirty, even though they charge the insurance company a cleaning fee. I leave it up to you to come up with your own conclusion, but I will not be using this body shop going forward. I had a very bad experience with them.

Our second car was a restored Porsche 944 (1984), as with any older car, things came up as we went along, I was always informed and given options prior to fixes being implemented, the car looks as good as new, and it is turning heads. Our third car was side swiped in the street, 2009 Hyundai Azera, the worked was done in a timely manner and once again, the quality of work was above and beyond, best part is the side swipe was on the driver side, so the 2007 looks like a new car. Very reasonable prices for the amount of effort put in on every project. Follows up afterwards to make sure we were always satisfied with the quality of the work. Repair looked good to me.. paint quality and panel fit looked exactly as expected. Its a large professional looking shop, that seems to be quite busy. Waiting room inside with coffee. Repair quality looked good. Couldn't see any issues, and paint quality seemed fine. Rental pickup/ dropoff is easy as the Enterprise guy comes to the shop to drop off the car. Drop off did take some time (I think at least 10min to wait for the guy to show), but return was really easy... just leave the key at front desk of the body shop. Only complaint is that it too much longer than expected. Was promised 1-2 weeks turnaround and turned out to be almost 3. And last few days I had called to find status and was told its just being detailed, but it still took a while. Which is a little strange.
