In hind site it is waaaaaay more than coffee and I want to come back for a meal. Took my mom and my wife here after lunch for a coffee and dessert, they sat us in the "Harry Potter" table and that was a nice treat. My mom got some elaborate pistachio iced latte and it was a really nice treat, especially in the heat. I got the tuxedo cold brew and that was also a great afternoon treat drink in the heat. My wife went with traditional coffee and it came in a side pot and was also really good. I ordered the cinnamon twist to enjoy with the coffee and expected a simple twist. This came warm and sticky with wallops of whip cream and was really and amazing dessert. After sharing that we went with the suggestion of the waitress and got something that had peaches and strawberries and was heaven on a plate. Im not even sure what it was but by then realized that everything here was excellent. My only regret is we came after lunch and now wish would have came here for lunch too. Next time I want to try the meals. The staff all worked well together and ran the place well with great energy and very helpful. As I get a bit older adding "clean bathrooms" is getting more important and they take good care of those rooms too. If your in the area know they have EXCELLENT coffee and much MUCH more.

The café is spotless, beautifully designed, and has such a relaxing atmosphere that you instantly want to stay a while instead of grabbing your drink and leaving. The baristas were incredibly kind, patient, and welcoming. They greeted everyone with a smile and made us feel like regulars, even though it was our first visit. You don't see that kind of hospitality very often anymore. The coffee was excellent, and the pastries were just as impressive. We tried the Honey Cake and the Bird's Milk cake, and both were fresh, rich, and absolutely delicious. You can tell they don't cut corners when it comes to quality. As an Armenian, I left with an even bigger smile knowing this place is Armenian-owned. It honestly made me proud to see a local business representing our culture with so much class, warmth, and professionalism. It's a beautiful reflection of Armenian hospitality. Cheers Coffee isn't just another coffee shop. It's the kind of place you look forward to coming back to. If I could give them 10 stars, I absolutely would. Wishing the owners and the entire team nothing but continued success. You guys have built something truly special.

Thankfully tea shops have become more regular here in the otherwise asian treat deprived desert. Chakaa Tea Shoppe is located at "The River" which is a small outdoor shopping spot situated around a manmade 'river'. The location used to be a starbucks and is perfectly set up for a tea shop to take up residence. Now for the honest, the tea is about average, I do appreciate the ample ordering options of non dairy milks. This time I ended up getting a coffee with boba as my treat vs my normal tea order. The staff is always super friendly and helpful if you have any questions. The boba was also VERY good and well made vs some places that provided under cooked or over cooked boba. A coffee with boba and a small tip ran me up almost $10 which is a little expensive for my taste but it IS a treat after all and not an every day buy. Of all the times I've come into this location they always seem to be warm inside and prefer to not run the AC. I tend to sweat a little bit which is a bit of a drag considering that they have tons of seating. I probably wouldn't drive to the river JUST for boba but if I'm in the area shopping in need of a pick me up to go this would be a good stop.

They have a pretty creative menu with a lot of unique syrups and drink concoctions so it made it hard for me to choose. I asked the worker for her recommendations and she kindly explained the menu to me. I was sold when I heard about the cafe de olla being made in-house and fresh at that -- she pointed to the vat right behind her. So, I got the iced cafe de olla latte and it was the perfect sweetness with hints of spice that added flavor to the coffee. I would order this again and wanted to come back here the same day. There was no line when I went but they was a line forming when I was leaving. There's no seating area so it's more of a grab-and-go place.

The funny thing? While the retail was still shuttered, the cafés and entertainment spots were already buzzing. That contrast -- empty storefronts on one side, the smell of fresh coffee on the other -- gave the whole place a quiet but inviting vibe. I walked into Xanti's and ordered two drinks: a strong macchiato (because sometimes you just need that punch) and a hot lavender matcha for balance. Total was $11.25, which felt more than fair. I tried paying with a $100 bill, but the barista politely explained they couldn't take it. No stress, no attitude -- just professional and smooth. Service really stood out here. The barista, a friendly guy with calm energy, not only took the order but noticed I'd settled into my phone at the table. A couple of minutes later, he personally brought both drinks over. That simple gesture made the experience feel way more personal than you'd expect from a mall coffee stop. As for the drinks? The macchiato was bold, clean, and exactly the kind of kick I needed. The lavender matcha surprised me -- creamy, floral, not too sweet, just enough to feel like a treat. Together, they struck a perfect balance: one to wake me up, one to slow me down. So yeah, it's technically "just" a coffee spot in a mall, but don't let that fool you. Between the timing, the vibe, and the barista's extra touch, it was one of those experiences that sticks.
