JJ's is one of the few Pizza places in Cambria. You'll get a reasonable pizza which is perfect for those traveling and in a bind for something quick and familiar. Located at the Eastern side of Main Street this is an order up front and either takeaway or eat inside/out place. After years of visiting Cambria at least twice a year, I can't believe that we just now discovered this place. Last Saturday night we weren't hungry for dinner until pretty late. We left the hotel just after 8 and discovered that many restaurants close early around 8:30. We decided that pizza sounded good and found this place on Yelp. It closes at 10 on Saturdays so we decided to give it a try. We were not disappointed! The pizza was so good and it really hit the spot! They do not skimp on toppings. I had the combo and it was delicious! My husband and kids really enjoyed their pepperoni and sausage pizza too. The service was fast and the staff was super friendly too! JJ's is simply the best. Always our first stop in Cambria. The pizza is fantastic. Probably one of the best cheese pizzas I've ever had. Love the small town pizza parlor feel. We ordered food for delivery to our hotel. We got a pepperoni pizza,wings and the open face meatball sub. The food showed up super quick and hot. The delivery driver was very nice and happy. We ate every last bite. The pizza was amazing and the wings rocked it. But the meatball sub was to die for. Wow this place does a great job. Very impressed. read more

We ordered a cheeseburger and a mini combo pizza to take back to our motel room. It was close by, but didn't look very prepossessing and the ratings were mediocre. Honestly I wasn't expecting much. We were pleasantly surprised. The pizza was tasty and had a generous amount of cheese and toppings. The burger tasted like a classic drive-in one. read more

Ordered 6 pizza's and 8 salads for a group of 22. When I placed the order I told them I would call 2 hours in advance and give them the correct delivery time. When we arrived at the resort I had several missed calls from the restaurant. I talked with them to give the room number and told them to deliver at 7:00PM. They were fine with that. The next call I got was from the delivery man who was already there with our food. It was 5:00 PM. The pizza tasted ok but was cold. Update: Spoke with the owner of JJ's Pizza and he has shown willingness to solve this issue. If we are ever in Cambria again, we will stop here for a meal. read more

One of the best pizza I've had They're very generous with the toppings and they are all fresh, and the cheese is so yummy. They also deliver which is so convenient and their prices are reasonable. Stopped by after driving in from riverside. The place was empty at first but we were there before 4pm. we all order burgers, onion rings, fries and zucchini fries and it was great! Really good food, good fast service and by the time we left it was busy. Food was a little over priced in my option for having to clean up after but overall good and the place was pretty clean. read more

Definitely tasty and delicious. I had a very good quality of sausages and meat in my pizza so these guys are generous, lots of cheese too which makes the whole taste so amazing! First and foremost, the cheese was super yummy! It stood out! As others have mentioned the pepperoni topping was a little scarce. We mixed it up with half pepperoni and the other half jalapeño and beef. The JB side was covered in beef and jalapeños. It was delicious. Even though it was limited on pepperoni my husband said the cheese made up for it and it was great! Overall a great experience and we will definitely have it again. Delivery arrived sooner than expected and the driver was very friendly. Epic fail on not getting photos. Our excuse... we were too hungry! read more

We love JJ's Corner Pizza in CAMBRIA!! The Cambrian Sandwich is full of fresh hot turkey, Black Forest ham, melted Swiss, American, and mozzarella cheeses on toasted sourdough bread! It's the bomb diggity!! Their pizza is AMAZING, too!! Their crust and sauce are homemade! You can taste the yummy difference when it's homemade!! Their mozzarella cheese is fresh and try their huge artichoke chunks as a topping, you'll love it!! JJ's staff is pleasant and very customer service oriented!! First night in Cambria and we get here in the evening and everything in this little town closes at sunset basically. Decided we were craving pizza and realized there's only two pizza joint in town so we choose this one. They had more traditional options here compared to JBJ Round Up which is a plus so we decided to go here and we chose the medium combination pizza. Pizza: pretty bland and lacked the usual pizza seasoning of garlic and oregano. There was a lot of cheese which is nice and a decent amount of toppings though I don't think I got to taste the Canadian bacon that it should have come with as my boyfriend luckily seemed to have gotten the only slice that had it. The dough was a bit flat and lacked the chewy fluffy texture a crust should have. There wasn't a lot of sauce for me to describe or even remember what the sauce tasted like. A major plus is that the sizes of the pizza are pretty good but are pricy. Service: the service is good here and they're really nice. I wish I could give them a four but we are here for the pizza and the pizza wasn't good Overall, if I was in a small town and there was this place or a fancy expensive pizza joint, I would probably still go here or just not eat pizza. Still disappointed and tasted like a pizza you could try to make at home yourself but worth a try if you are desperately craving a pie. read more

Terrible, horrible pizza. If you have never had pizza before, it might be decent. But holy crimeney, this pizza is terrible. The crust tastes like card board. Soggy in the center. My sweetie and I were visiting Hurst Castle for my birthday and after all that walking we were starving. we drove around looking for some dinner. We stopped at JJ's because we could smell the food while driving through Cambria. After finding a parking spot we could smell fresh bell peppers and pepperoni luring us in like a sirens' song. The place was small and unassuming but, there was a line going out the door. we ordered a large combination and a chef's salad and of corse, drinks. We got the salad first, it was loaded with turkey, ham, cheese and fresh veggies. Very crisp, delicious and refreshing. Just as we finished the salad we received our pizza. That's where that ambrosial scent was from. Anyone who knows me, knows I'm not really a pizza person but that was THE best pizza I have had the joy of eating in all my years. I wish there was a spot local that had pizza that tasty. read more

Preparing to sit and wait for my husband to join me I saw that the patio tables were filthy and dirty dishes stacked outside. I stepped near but outside the open door to ask for a rag. The clerk answered my request by stating "the dog cannot come inside" to which I answered "the dog is NOT inside". He then stated "you HAVE to come inside" to which I answered "I don't HAVE to do what you tell me to do". He replied "you want to order don't you? Then you HAVE to come inside to order" and I replied "I don't HAVE to do that just because you are telling me to do something". He was VERY POLITE to my MALE HUSBAND and served the meal we were sharing to my husband which means he must have a PROBLEM WITH CIS WOMEN. He also had a distinct "gangsta" appearance which with the filthy tables and chairs means we will never again grace the threshold of their establishment in the future. Whenever I'm at the coast, which sadly isn't as much as I once was, I find time to go to Cambria and usually eat at JJ's Pizza. I really love it there. Their pizza is excellent, the salads and dressings are very good and I even got a burger there once and really enjoyed it. I'll be down there sometime within the next month for the first time in 3 years and am very hopeful to make it over to JJ's. You guys do a great job and I love browsing the large antique store next door when I leave there. I hope it's still there! read more

Came to Cambria on a weekend trip from out of town. This is a cute town but the majority of places close by 8/9 so our options were limited. And he didn't check to see...When you order a patty melt, do you expect it to be pan-fried/griddled? It is not. Just in a toaster and came out without any color on the bread. Pastrami sandwich was good. Some folks have said the meat was scarce in other reviews. It is not abundant like some make it, but there was an ample amount. Again, the server didn't know what came on it. Chili cheese burger is a traditional stacked sandwich, not an open-faced version. Chili seemed to be a canned product. It it was pretty darned good! The beef patties were tasty and didn't seem to be frozen pucks earlier in their life. The meat tasted fresh and had good flavor. They may have been a bit overcooked on the grill, but that didn't stop us from eating all of them. Best thing was the fries. Again, seen mixed reviews on them. Today's fries were freshly cut, fried well, and tasted great. I will probably go back, it made the cut. But with another grill on Main Street, they may struggle to stay open. The place seemed overstaffed, and unless they are laundering money, can't keep that many people working the front of the house, especially when they are not knowledgeable about the offerings.

The process was easy and convenient, and everything arrived right on time. We shared the Hearst Ranch Burger ($22)--an 8oz Hearst Ranch Estate ground beef patty with Havarti cheese, braised & seared pork belly, onion jam, house pickles, burger sauce, and heirloom tomato on a black & white sesame bun. It was served quartered, making it perfect for sharing. We also ordered the shoestring fries ($8), which were plentiful, crispy, and served with a buttermilk ranch dressing. The prices were a little steep, but I guess it's location, location, location. Anyway, it was a great pairing with the wines and made for a relaxing, delicious experience. Note: Seaside@HRW is open Friday-Sunday, 11AM-4PM, for food service at the tasting room (wine tasting reservation required). The Seaside Deli is open daily and if you are also wine tasting at the winery, you can pick up from the deli and bring it to your tasting table. We've ordered from the deli before, and as I recall, the sandwiches were very good.

It's advertised as serving two people, and it absolutely does... assuming one of those people doesn't "accidentally" keep taking just one more bite. It's loaded with flavor, generous portions, and arrives at the table looking like it deserves its own introduction. The biggest surprise on this visit? The tortillas. They were fresh, homemade, and absolutely phenomenal. Maybe they've always made them from scratch and I somehow missed it, but this time they stole the show. They tasted just like the ones my abuelita used to make--warm, soft, and so good they almost made me forget there was an entire Molcajete sitting in front of me. One of my favorite things about Medusa's is that it's family-run, and you can feel it the moment you walk in. Everyone is genuinely welcoming, friendly, and makes you feel like you're more than just another table. That kind of hospitality is getting harder to find, and it makes the meal even better.
