Due to my own fault, I chose to open up my reel attempting to service it myself and ended up making things worse haha. I brought my reel into Brian's and was assisted by Glenn (awesome guy) he took the time to look into the problem and being the pro that he is, he figured it out in 10 minutes when I couldn't figure it out for days! Glenn then proceeded to explain to me where I went wrong and how to avoid it from happening again haha. Definitely had a good laugh. Reel is working like new again and I just wanted to say thank you again Glenn! Much appreciated and glad it was you that helped me the day I walked in.

I wrote postive reviews for individual employees in the past which was well deserved and I feel sorry for them if West Marine folds. After the old hag refused to sell me the boat, I bought a 14 foot aluminum Jon boat for $200, a yamaha motor 6hp for $800, and all the whistles, batteries, life preservers, bilge pumps, flares, seat cushions, rope, fuel tanks, Gps, oars, and whatever else I needed from West Marine competitors. I would have bought everything that night at West Marine which amounted to another $1200 after purchasing the boat. Today I get a email from West Marine saying it is filing for CHAPTER 11 BANKRUPTCY. Hmmm, I don't wonder why. I know why. The problem starts with the store manager, training and monitoring sales and customer service. The solution is relocate or get rid of the manager and the store employees that do not take their job seriously and provide customer service. Simple economics, sell the boat and accessories, and $2000 ends up in the register, employees get paid, and the company makes a profit and stays in business. Hire lame old idiots that rather talk story and bad mouth the company that employs them equals $0 in sales, store closures, and unemployment. Stores that file bankruptcy always closes in the end. COMMON SENSE!!!! I hope the outdoor power equipment dealer a few blocks down the road see this! His ghost town business will soon be gone too!

One of my friends had them come out for her birthday and we play for about 3 hours at Sand Island. At first, I was like come on really... How fun could this be? But I gotta tell you, it was a lot of fun. And a lot tiring as well lol. I mean you're running around trying to hit people and not get hit at the same time. I hate to admit it but I was one of the few that got hit in the face lol... So pretty much she called them and made an appointment. They come and set everything up. I mean everything. All the props, masks, bows and arrows. There was two of them and they showed us how to play and officiated all the games. They were really nice. Pricing is $400 but for 3 hours but we had about 20 people show up who wanted to play so it was only $20 per person. Only 12 can play at a time which is 6x6. I feel 6 on 6 is good, you don't want more than that. The field can get pretty small with more people. The concept is pretty much like dodge ball but with arrows.
