Great location for CCW/basic education classes. Brent and staff run a tight ship with classes, servicing and sales. They are a certified SIG dealer and it looks like they sell older guns on consignment too. Lots of accessories too for the hobbyist or collector. We took the CCW class from BNR and they did a great job. You take a class for 4 hours and practical shooting the next day. The class was incredibly informative and professional. Brent, his daughter and staff were excellent trainers and guides on the practical shooting day. Shout outs to Ron, Jen and Mel as well for helping us qualify for our licensing. My husband and I had a great experience here. My husband and I just moved and he found BNR tactical facility to get his basic training with CCW permit. I was able to join him the following time he went to browse. We ended up purchasing matching pieces and the workers there are so kind and helpful. I haven't handled in a very long time (over 15 years) and having a quick refresher and getting more understanding towards handling was super helpful and not intimidating at all. We cracked some jokes and had good fun there. We even brought our little girl and she was saying "WOW" to everything in the store. Super fun and good vibes all around. Yet another person that doesn't get his way and throws out the new buzz word "racist" to attack someone with absolutely no basis to their claims. I have done business with BNR Tactical and every other gun store on the island. They have stayed open late for me and have worked with me to make sure I get what I need. They will not let you make an uneducated decision. It's a shame some D.A. had to spread hate and discontent and there is absolutely no way any reputable shop in Hawaii will risk their business by selling "high capacity" magazines to non law enforcement. If you are looking for great customer service and good prices considering how much gun sales has skyrocketed, look no further. The guys there keep it simple, are friendly and very helpful to those who are new to buying and owning guns. If you buy your first gun from them, they try their best to get an earlier appt for your permit to acquire. And they will even meet you there and walk you through the process if they are available to do so. It speaks volumes when you don't know what to do or expect and the police website doesn't have very much information on the process of buying guns.
