5 earned stars from my personal experience and encounter with Al West Nissan Rolla Mo. Often when I…read moreread reviews I find that people are upset and venting about things that really are not helpful to a person who is simply trying to decide where/who to do business with. You as the consumer who is making a purchase is equally as important as the Seller delivering the merchandise. When spending your hard earned money do your part, research and educate yourself about what your buying and UNDERSTAND what you are signing and agreeing to. I have truly have had terrible experiences with dealerships and being financially taken advantage of. With that being said when I'm looking at reviews I'm looking to simply find: 1. Will I be treated with respect? 2. Will I be heard when I am voicing my needs? 3. Will my questions be answered with clear communication? 4. Will I be pressured to purchase anything I'm unsure of? 5. Will hard inquiries hit my credit report before I have even decided my best financial options? 6. Is business conducted in a professional fair manner? After doing business with AL West today my Faith in Good business has been RESTORED! Nothing on paper was conducted until I MADE MY DECISION, NO PRESSURE TO PURCHASE, I was treated with respect, heard, and no question left unanswered. I was more than fair. I was treated GOOD. I was given top trade in value for the first time ever! As I went through the process today, it was evident that this team effectively and with each other. Every person I came in contact with was friendly and professional. Don't pass this dealership up if you're looking to purchase a vehicle. THANK YOU AL WEST!! -Tanna Eickelmann

I was going to drop this but saw a post on Facebook which I replied to. That person had the same…read moretype of bad experience I had so I am copying my post here. I have all of the texts and emails from dealership to back this up. From my post on Facebook. I would not give this dealership one single penny of my money. The absolute poorest customer service in the region. In October 2025 my wife and I decided we wanted to buy a new Nissan Pathfinder. We had not purchased a brand new vehicle in more than 30 years. It is the same distance from our house to Springfield or Rolla. We chose Al West to give a smaller dealer our business. Really bad choice. Our salesperson was very knowledgeable. I have no beef with her. We decided what Pathfinder we wanted and the options we wanted. They did not have what we wanted but said they could get it. First one they located they said the dealership sold it before they could get arraignments made to pick it up. No big deal. I can see how that could happen. They sent us a copy of 2 more vehicles. We said we would take them and each time the deal allegedly fell apart before they could acquire it. I should have moved on but I did not. On their 4th try they located us a car and sent us the sticker on it for review. It was exactly what we wanted. Had all the options and color and interior were exactly what we wanted. Pricing was good also due to a rebate. We told them we wanted it and to move forward. Al West said it would take a couple of days to get it in. Great. No problem. Dealership called us and said they had our vehicle in and would take a couple of days for dealer prep. Ok. No problem. They asked us if we wanted the protective coating put on the car. Sure. Put it on. On the day before they delivered the car to us I got a call from their big dog behind the closed door. He said good news. Your car is ready to be delivered. I said great. Big dog said, "by the way this isn't the vehicle we sent you the sticker on. This one does not have the type of back seat you wanted and does not have all of the options the one had on the sticker we sent you". Ok. The seat wasn't that big of a deal. The extra options were not that big of a deal either. My gut feeling was to tell them to shove the vehicle where the sun don't shine but I did not. We were this far in to it so I agreed to the purchase. They deliver our vehicle the next day. The vehicle was close enough to what we wanted and we said ok. Not exactly what we wanted but close enough. Our salesperson handed us the paperwork. Funny thing. The one they delivered to us had less options, not the interior we asked for, and the price was higher than the one we said we wanted and thought we were getting. At that point I should have told them to stuff their vehicle. I called them out on this. Mystery Man said this one didn't have some sort of incentive like the other one did so it had less options and cost more. Redneck Mark wanted to send them packing for lying but Mature Mark looked at the numbers and determined cost wise there was not that much difference in pricing so we accepted the vehicle. I should have listened to Redneck Mark. In January the coating they put on the window separated. When the sun hit the windshield low it was like the vehicle has been thru a sandstorm. Took it back to them. Their detailers "removed" the coating from the windshield and said we were good to go. Drove it off the lot and when the sun hit the windshield it was as bad or worse than before. Within 5 minutes of leaving the lot I called them but no answer so I left a voice message. They never returned my phone call. Took the vehicle back to them a week later. They looked at the windshield and said it was pitted from the factory. They gave me a number to call Nissan to file a claim. A good dealership would have done this for me. I did what Al West said to do. I filed a claim with Nissan and they gave me a claim number. I immediately forwarded my claim number to my salesperson and called her to confirm. I waited. Sometime in February after about 3 weeks of waiting on Al West to call me I called them. They said they were waiting on Nissan to contact them and did not offer to contact Nissan for me. I contacted Nissan and they said it was the dealers responsibility to contact them. In the meantime I had my first oil change done at Al West. Later I got a survey from the service department. I didn't realize it was for the oil change and thought it was for the window. I blasted them hard on the survey. The service manager immediately called me asking me to remove my comments or answers from the survey since the survey was for an oil change and not service on the windshield. He assured me he would get to the bottom of my windshield problem if I would correct his survey. As a decent man I corrected the service survey and waited for the call for the windshield problem. That was March. They never returned my multiple phone calls. pitiful service from the top down.

Salesman told me it was because it had LEDs. On further investigation i found most of the LED lights that suppoedly caused the issue were factory when i went to install the proper conversion harness. There are some that are not factory because they are missing the RAM logo that the other ones have. Then I investigated further and found other aftermarket body parts indicating that it had been involved in a collision. They had behind the paperwork that they produced said it had a clean history report. According to their salesman they also oown Taylor Chrysler Jeep Ram. If that is the case then they would know there is aftermarket body parts on it and there was something wrong with their report. Next thing the check engine light came on and I gave them every code that my truck said was wrong with it. All emissions system problems. They said no problem and I dropped it off. They said battery cable was loose and gave it back. Then after several driving cycles the light came back on for the same issues. Indicating all they did to fix it was reset the ECM. I called and a woman told me they were with other customers and no one called me back. I called several more times with similar results. I reported to BBB and they said they gave me a 90 day warranty and conveniently no one remembered me calling. I am hearing impaired so I didn't hear the brakes making noise until after I got new hearing aids. I asked my wife and neighbor if it has always done that and they said yes. I found a locked up caliper, missing brake pad, broken leaf spring, and all components of emergency brake missing on right rear. I brought this to their attention via BBB complaint and they said it passed state inspection. Which i know is untrue or their inspector needs fired because it had a gouge in side wall of right rear tire when I bought it, all tires were mismatched, emissions system issue, broken leaf in spring pack, message saying turn signal out, and missing brake parts. Missouri state patrol said missing parking brake components wouldn't cause it to fail but everything else i mentioned would and the statute of limitations is 5 years to report it but it was strongly encouraged that you report such cases as soon as you find out and don't fix anything. Some issues still exist that would cause it to fail. It will going through inspection this year even though inspection is supposed to be good for 2 years per Missouri State Patrol. Will update when it's inspected if I can. They hid everything wrong with paperwork and spray paint literally because they spay painted the rocker panels and I wore off showing rust a few months after I bought it. Not sure what else they covered up literally just yet. My advice don't buy from either one of their dealerships and if you did go get it inspected immediately by a reputable place like Piney River Ford.

I started the process of purchasing an SUV with Jordan's last October. Since leaving the lot with my 2017 Ford Escape, within the first week or two we, my parents and I, discovered my breaks and rotors were out, ground down to the metal even. Next we discovered there was practically no oil left when I went to Walmart to have the oil changed seeing as this was a new car to me. The Walmart employees also informed us the skid plate was being held on my zip ties. The next problem occurred about 2 months after where we took the car in to have the tires rotated and balanced due to some shaking and they informed us the lug nuts were swollen due to age and not being taken care of. As for the shaking, turns out both CV axels on the front of the car were cracked. After that issue was fixed, a month later the transmission went. Next on the roster of fixes were the almost bald tires. And now only 10 months of having this nightmare, the block to my engine is cracked, therefore my engine is done. During all of this, my O2 sensors were out and my AC was just about done in. I tried looking into Lemon Laws after the breaks fiasco, but Jordan's had provided an inspection through a dealership they work with. After months and months of throwing money at this car, I am sick and tired of this. I HIGHLY suggest you don't bother stopping here unless you want to deal with the stress and the pain of constant throwing money at a heap of junk. I know in all of this, my parents and I should have done a better job researching common issues in certain brands of cars we were considering, but that lesson has been learned, along with demanding I find my own place to have the car inspected. Save yourself money and definitely go somewhere else!
