The people who complain about this lot are the ones who expect people to read minds and approach everything with an attitude. Rather than as shit happens and they are just as human as we are. I reccomend this lot over any lot in the area. Hands down.

I started the process of purchasing an SUV with Jordan's last October. Since leaving the lot with my 2017 Ford Escape, within the first week or two we, my parents and I, discovered my breaks and rotors were out, ground down to the metal even. Next we discovered there was practically no oil left when I went to Walmart to have the oil changed seeing as this was a new car to me. The Walmart employees also informed us the skid plate was being held on my zip ties. The next problem occurred about 2 months after where we took the car in to have the tires rotated and balanced due to some shaking and they informed us the lug nuts were swollen due to age and not being taken care of. As for the shaking, turns out both CV axels on the front of the car were cracked. After that issue was fixed, a month later the transmission went. Next on the roster of fixes were the almost bald tires. And now only 10 months of having this nightmare, the block to my engine is cracked, therefore my engine is done. During all of this, my O2 sensors were out and my AC was just about done in. I tried looking into Lemon Laws after the breaks fiasco, but Jordan's had provided an inspection through a dealership they work with. After months and months of throwing money at this car, I am sick and tired of this. I HIGHLY suggest you don't bother stopping here unless you want to deal with the stress and the pain of constant throwing money at a heap of junk. I know in all of this, my parents and I should have done a better job researching common issues in certain brands of cars we were considering, but that lesson has been learned, along with demanding I find my own place to have the car inspected. Save yourself money and definitely go somewhere else!

I purchased a van from K & A Quality Auto on April 12th 2013. I drove down from St. Louis to check…read morethe vehicle out. Although I am no mechanic, the van looked to be in reasonable condition and the 15 - 20 minute test drive also suggested the vehicle was in good condition. The salesperson, named Jason, also assured me that the van had passed inspection and that they have a mechanic who goes over all their vehicles to make sure they are good. The van had a front headlight out - something that would have prevented the vehicle from passing a state inspection so I became wary. After looking under the hood, it was revealed that the transmission fluid looked as if it had never been changed. I personally don't know enough about transmissions to have immediately noticed that the dark fluid meant a completely shot transmission. I just assumed it needed a flush, Jason agreed, and he took the amount a transmission flush off the total - bringing the car sale to $3500, a price I would later learn is what the vehicle I purchased should sell for in excellent condition. I didn't even make it to Sullivan, Missouri (just shy of a 45 minute drive) before the transmission started skipping. At stop signs it would get stuck in gear and would suddenly jolt forward. I figured it was because the fluid needed to be flushed and took the van promptly into the shop the next day. The mechanic at Meineke wouldn't even touch it. He said that the fluid had bits of clutch in it and that no flush would save it. "Take it to an actual transmission shop." I took it to a nearby transmission shop, and after an hour the guy told me the entire transmission was burnt up. It completely needed to be replaced. I hadn't had the car for even 48 hours. The transmission shop continued to look through it to see if certain parts could be replaced, but the tranny was so bad that he literally told me everything was destroyed. I called the dealership immediately. Jason expressed concern, and then offered to sell me a warranty (after the car's purchase and after it had already be looked at) that would "completely" cover the cost of a new transmission. I asked about trading in the car or just selling it back. I was ignored and again prompted with buying the warranty. I had little to no choice. I'm a poor college student, and was in dire need of a car after an accident cost me my last vehicle. I didn't want to pay for the warranty nor did I feel I should have to. Jason offered to cover half. Once the warranty was purchased, I had to wait an additional two weeks to receive the warranty card to get work started on my car. Once it was received, I went back to the shop. The warranty also turned out to be a total sham, and at minimum the new transmission would cost me $1,000 at minimum should the warranty company actually decide to pay out - a decision they would come to after I paid $300 to have the transmission completely torn down and itemized even though 2 different mechanics could tell by looking at it, that it was bad. I called the dealership again. Jason stated he would call the warranty company. I received this excuse for a week before he simply stopped returning my calls. While it is speculative to say that Jason knowingly sold me a car with a bad transmission, it is hard to think otherwise. Both St. Louis mechanics told me that anyone who regular deals with cars - dealers and their mechanics that run through their cars to make sure they check out - would have immediately known the transmission was bad. And ultimately, it is just bad business to sell a car to someone which turned out to have a bad transmission 48 hours later. No reputable dealer would let a customer be that upset with their purchase shortly after the sale when their business is so word-of-mouth. K & A Quality Auto seems to not care about their reputation, and that is the worst type of dealer to buy from because they will literally sell you anything without any moral responsibility. I feel swindled, and that I was repeatedly told "we'll get this taken care of" to simply keep me off their backs. I didn't even get the title until after the inspection was expired. Shocked, taken advantage of, and out $3500+. Sold a car in terrible condition at an excellent condition price.

Very thankful as to how helpful they are! I got the exact car I wanted in the price range I needed…read more I recommend them to anybody looking for a vehicle for sure :)

DO NOT EVER BUY FROM THIS PLACE: This is going to be long,…read morejust a warning, and I bet this will be deleted soon. Anyways, I bought a 2010 Ford Fusion SE from here a year ago and had to return it a few days ago and here's why: First off when we bought the car we asked the salesman to please make sure we buy a car that has no abs lights on or any brakes issues and he assured us this was the car for us because it didn't. We bring it to our mechanic a few days later to get it checked out because what do you know... the abs light turns on. He says that the company must've hid the code but it will keep coming on because it needs fixed. So there's the first lie. Then a few months goes by and the brakes are going out. Second lie. Then a bunch of other issues pop up and it's been three months since we've owned it and haven't driven it much at all. So we put thousands into fixing it. Mind you the car is worth $5,000 and they're charging us over $20,000 for it. Then recently the cars starter just goes OUT. We can't even drive it anywhere. So we call this place to ask if we can get it fixed or worked out because we've put so much money into it already. They say they'll call us back. They never did. We drive up there and they tell us we could've been getting it fixed for free this whole time but now we can't because we drove over the miles that's covered. Funny how they never told us this in the beginning. They actually sent us a letter in the mail saying they couldn't help us with anything ever because they didn't accept our insurance. THEN when we told them that we received that letter a few days after purchasing and getting it insured they lied and said they didn't send that out BUT WE HAVE THE LETTER. So we just bring it back and say we want out of this ridiculous contract that's scamming us out of our hard earned money and the assistant manager (Moe is his name) comes in telling us that it's OUR problem and we can't blame them because we drove it over $12,000 miles in a year and that it's our fault because we're reckless. Which, granted, we did because we went to North Carolina for my birthday, BUT THESE PROBLEMS WERE HERE THE MINUTE WE BOUGHT IT not after we put the miles on it. And he starts stepping up to us while I have my 1 year old in my arms acting likes he's going to fight us just yelling at us obnoxiously loud. Made my 1 year old freak out hardcore and he's telling me I need to get my kid and my man under control when we were simply trying to either trade in or have things fixed. I tell him to calm down and he starts putting his hand up in my face saying "this is man to man" to my fiancé. I will say there was a lot more said by him and a lot more rudeness but I have never seen a business conducted like this. I honestly want to sue at this point. At the end of the meeting he's mad so he looks at us and says he's going to auction off the car and sell it for cheap and we have to pay the entire rest back and we say "we want out of the contract, no thanks." And he says "no, you will pay it." Over and over in a snark rude tone. So we just left the place and the car and we look back and he's inside the building staring from the window pointing and laughing at us. What a joke. This was our first vehicle purchase and I'm so saddened by the fact it was with them. Please, don't go through the hassle and ever buy through them. They lie and scam their way to your money and you'll never be able to get away from it once you start it and they will never treat you like human beings. OH AND TO ADD: they keep taking money from you and don't put it on your bill. Our bill went from over $20,000 to $12,000 from paying on it that we saw online and he kept saying we haven't paid much and I said at least $6,000 and he kept saying "$3,000 at most." And laughing. This place is truly a joke. So now we have no car and no money to get another because of them. I've seen so many other reviews similar to mine, it's sad what they'll do to make a quick buck.
