So he got a 30,000 mile checkup! My Dad called ahead of time to make the appointment and they were expecting us as I drove into the service garage. It was about 10 am and they suggested we come back at 4 pm. Perfect... And off we went! When 4 pm rolled around my Dad and I returned to pick up my car. It seemed ready to go and we paid at the customer service desk. Went out to my car to find that they left the seat WAY back and the car hadn't been cleaned out (the way they always do at the Dave Mungeanast in North County). That's a bummer - when I spend over $300 at any automotive shop, the least they could do is a once over with the shop vac. To make matters worse, they were supposed to do an inspection of the vehicle... which couldn't have been too good because my Dad noticed that I had a headlight out as we were leaving. So we had to pull the car back into the service garage to get that replaced. It took a good 25 minutes to find anyone who could do that for us and the guy wasn't too happy about it. Overall, it wasn't a terrible experience. But it wasn't great, either. I suppose if you live in Decatur and own a Honda or Hyundai you don't really have a choice. But I'd think twice about getting Gary Busey serviced here again - they do better in STL.

Called the dealership had to leave a voicemail because no one answered. Went to the dealership and there are no mechanics available for my vehicle. So now I have to wait until Monday morning for some answers to this situation. I guess they can't call thier service employee to come in and take care of the problem they created. Which means I can spend my time, and gasoline to fix the problem they created. Plus Monday is 2 days away from now, so if I get a flat tire I will have to have the vehicle towed to the dealership and then find a way home and back to the dealership Monday to get the problem resolved. In short I am paying for their mistakes. Never using this dealership again.

I owned this vehicle for approximately 2 months when I noticed defects on the arm rests. I also noticed a mild vibration in the steering wheel when I reached 45 mph but would stop when I let off the gas. I addressed this at the dealership but their master technician did not notice the vibration. The lady in service info me that they would not take care of the arm rests because it looked like it was from a chemical. I only noticed this defect when I as vacuuming. I have tried multiple times to get this resolved but they have basically ignored me. I am only asking for the arm rests to be replaced due to a defect that I did not cause. At this point I am letting anyone and everyone know how Bob Brady treats their customers. We have purchased three very expensive trucks there but will be taking our business elsewhere.

I am now at…read morethe point where I am being forced to purchase a dash cam and put a retainer down on an attorney. I purchased my vehicle almost 2 years ago, I make my payments on time, I keep up the regular maintenance on it, and I am still driving an unsafe vehicle. I have taken this vehicle into these people on numerous occasions twice I have taken it in there and told them that I am having problems with the same two things both times I was told that their technicians looked at it and these things are not a problem! After the last time they had it and told me that there wasn't anything wrong with the two things that I'm still having a problem with they hadn't even checked the fluids for either one of those things. So, I'm supposed to trust my life against the evidence that I have seen with my own two eyeballs that they are not doing their jobs or even taking what their customers are saying seriously. I almost got hit merging onto the freeway a week and a half ago because my car will not accelerate like it's supposed to. I was told we don't give loners so when you bring it to us for whatever undetermined amount of time you're going to have to figure out how to get 40 minutes away from your home to go to work one way. I cannot afford a rental car and unless I'm hit or in an accident my insurance isn't going to pay for a loaner either. If they had fixed it right when I took it in there the last time which was also 3 weeks before I started this job in an attempt to get this fixed before I had to start driving 40 minutes one way, then I wouldn't now be in a position to choose either my safety or my livelihood. they have put me in a very dangerous position and since I don't want to lose my $23 an hour job over not having a vehicle that I pay for I am being forced to drive with it the way that they gave it back to me which wasn't fixed. I've never sued anybody a day in my life but I'm damn sure about to! And I'm going to continue making these reviews until these people make it right with me, rather it be they fix my vehicle like they were supposed to the first time I took it in there or rather we do it in a courtroom

Let me first say I am not a car expert by any stretch of the imagination, but I will say my…read moreexperience with M&M was absolutely phenomenal. My situation started when I got a terrible scratch when I cut a tight corner in my garage. Frankly I don't understand how people get building permits to make parking garages in Champaign. Anyway, mainly because I didn't need my parents finding out about my little accident I decided to pay out of pocket for the damages. I first went to Tatman's to get a quote, seeing as I've heard good things about their service and I see their ads everywhere. I nearly dropped to my knees when I heard the price they told me for my scratch over my wheel, slightly onto my door and a few minor scratches on the bumper. "At least two thousand dollars..." They had explained that the amount of work they'd have to put into it (10 hours) would be the bulk of the cost. I decided to head down the street to M&M. I spoke with Alex who quickly came out to my car and accessed the damage. He told me very similar things to Tatman's so I believed his assessment. The best part was that he told me it would cost about $1000 and he broke it down piece by piece of what needed to be done. Originally the used the wrong paint, but realized the mistake and told me they would correct it at no cost to me. Although it took a little more time than originally quoted, they took care of some additional scratches on the car and the car looks as good as new. They are extremely helpful and I would highly recommend their services to anyone.

First week I had it, I noticed the transmission slipping. Fine they took it and swapped out the transmission torque converter that was causing the problem. Finally get it back out of the shop just for the next day it not to start and strand me at the store. Have it towed to the shop and the starter harness was damaged when they replaced the torque converter and rigged it up and said nothing about it. They said they fixed it but nope just rigged it again to get me out of the shop. Next, no AC. Took it to the shop to see why the AC wasn't working and the ac compressor just fell apart as the cover was taken off. Asked if they would fix it and if course it was no. So I paid for that to get fixed. And here I sit again stranded at the gas station because it won't start. Save yourself money and time and purchase else where. This vehicle has spent more time in the shop than I have been able to drive it. Not impressed at all. If they had completed a proper inspection these items would have been easily identified and maybe repaired before purchased or at least disclosed so I knew what I was getting... however that's not how it happened.
