If you're here for women's clothing, this location has a great variety of items. That is why my wife loves shopping here. However, if you are looking for men's clothing, you are going to be relegated to a tiny portion of the store with limited styles and sizes. While I know that that is a common trend in shopping, it's disappointing because I know J. Crew makes high quality clothing and the prices at this factory store are great. I have just never been able to find anything in my size. The store is kept clean and well organized. Despite having a lot in there, you can still easily navigate around which is great. The staff is also extremely friendly and helpful. So, it's just a lopsided shopping experience in my opinion. Women, you are in for a great selection of great clothes at discounted prices. Men, unfortunately, are probably going to have a hit or miss experience just due to the lack of inventory offered. read more

This review is about the dressing room area was wrecked with dog urine smell on 6/5/25. It was disgusting so I left. I can't help but think dog urine could be on clothes or me stepping on dirty floors when trying on clothes. Gross! I am a frequent shopper at this Camarillo outlet location but this recent experience made me not want to come back. There was a woman there shopping with her obviously non- service dog. True service dogs are very well trained. Where do you think the dog will go when she needs to use the dressing room ? Please enforce your dog policy ! read more

I lost my wallet here on November 30th and everybody was so helpful. The closing manager noticed and kept my wallet in a secure location. I was so happy when the morning crew returned my call to tell me they found my wallet. Also, Aileen, the manger on duty, did an awesome job dealing with a difficult and obnoxious customer. Disappointment visit! I bought these ties that were priced as 39.50 with 50% off and rung up as 42.50. The tie wasn't marked as the 42.50 so it didn't make sense to charge me that invisible price. I returned the ties because it didn't make sense to me to pay for a price that is non existently priced. I think management needs to tend to this discrepancy. read more

J.Crew Factory - Outside - Men's Clothing Near Me - Camarillo, California

The J.Crew Factory Store has been a generally good buy for those who want J.Crew clothes off season by about a month or three. However, there are many things to consider as a guy who has come here several times. Take note that the Christmas season, particularly the weekend before, is the best time to visit the place. I got 70% off everything, and laughed all the way home. Don't forget the military discount either, for all active veterans (10% off). The factory store offerings many good things for guys, namely button up shirts that have washed patterns perfect for the casual afternoon look. Most of the patterns are slightly bold (colorful in spring or slightly darker for evening/fall/winter) or traditional, but not too flamboyant which is great for those venturing out. For those conservative 90's traditional types who wear black, grey, or blue solids there is some remnant of those styles. However, they seem to be few and farther between peak shopping periods at the store. I am currently noting pant sizes to be between 28 and 38, while shirt sizes go from XS to XL at this store. Newer patterns focus on dark blue, with lighter color pants, and solid henleys best suited with some Converse Chuck Taylors or chukkas. It seems to be the look these days for the working yuppie, and manipulated by the hipster in all kinds of unique ways. Although I am not a fan of the prices here most of the year, I like to take advantage of holiday sales. Furthermore, the quality of their clothing is far better than what I find at Gap and often Banana Republic. Take note that there is a fitting room to try on your clothes, and during this holiday season there may be a line. Parking for this store is best in the middle of the lot, as it is near the entrance to one of the shopping plaza. Coming from the south, you should exit Carmen for less traffic. read more

I wish yelp! Would allow zero stars! I was there the other day and got ZERO customer service! Not even a "Hello". I even had to search for the fitting room AND get my own fitting room! It wasn't even crowded, and they seemed to have adequate floor coverage. I needed a dress for an event and they (unfortunately) had one I liked. I'm still on the hunt for a different dress, so i can return the one i bought. They had two ladies at the register, one was helping out a customer with some issue. ( He was on the phone talking to some other J. Crew rep, she was folding his items.) I haven't a clue what the other lady was doing, but was clearly to bothered to even acknowledge me. Neither ladies did the typical. "I'll be right with you." I didn't even get. "sorry for the wait." "did you find everything ok." "thank you." when I finally got to the register. I used to work in retail, I was just absolutely stunned at the lack of anything there, if anything. It would be a shoplifters haven there. IF you must ship at J. Crew, go online or go to the mall. Deals, or no no deals, the lack of service isn't worth it- unless your gonna seek out lifting. read more

This store is alright - best during sales. Caveat emptor: the quality is not always that great. I bought an expensive, trendy t-shirt with sequined appliques that nearly fell apart after only 2 wearings. I took it back and it had been more than 90 days so the manager wouldn't refund me. It wasn't until I amped up my complaint a bit (threatening to bring Amex into the dispute) that she agreed to refund me for the poorly sewn shirt. Also, as I was standing in line waiting to speak to the manager, I was surrounded by racks of cheap belts and plastic bangles marked in the $20-$30 range, which blew my mind. This is supposed to be an outlet yet here they were displaying China-made garbage worth less than one dollar and had the audacity to mark them $20 and over. That's certainly worth a double-take. You know, it's just fine. Beware of "made for outlet" items. I was in here looking for clothes for my toddler (they don't carry children's clothes, btw) and ended up in the SALE! racks. The shirts there were not made for human women. I'm assuming they were made for giant rectangular creatures. I ended up buying a loose-fitting "peasant" top in purple, in a size XXS. I'm athletic, fairly tall, and usually wear a size 4 in pants, but I'm really not an XXS, more an S. 've worn the shirt twice, and i'm just not excited about it. It looks and feels cheap (So do you! Ba dum bum). I did end up buying a cute little strapless dress that was hanging out in the front of the store. It was a steal at less than $40, and has some quality features to it. Wore it to a wedding. So, as with any outlet, I'd say, beware the impulse purchase! Customer service here was just fine. read more

When you check out, the cashiers always ask if anyone helped you. And if no one did, they always apologize. I usually love coming to Jcrew because the outlets have cheap sales and on top of that, you can use your student ID to get 15% off for everything (including SALES!!!). AWESOME!! Of all the outlet stores, the J Crew store is the most consistent in appearance and sales. The staff is very friendly, always offer to put me in more debt by getting a credit card and knows the store. The store is clearly labeled for the sales. It's easy to find everything in the store. It's organized extremely well. I even came in before closing and the store still looked very good. I did have to knock off a star because a couple times when I came in the clearance selection wasn't that great. Recession people! read more

I love J Crew and has been a customer for years. I usually order online but once a while will go to the outlet mall by Camarillo. Staff is usually friendly and helpful. They even have people that will greet you at the door at times. But today was a different story and kinda disappointed on how one of the staff treated me. I just bought some cardigan sweater today around 2 pm and the lady at the register has 0 customer service. Didn't even smile or looked at me while I was at the register. So I was thinking that maybe she was just having a bad day like everyone else but to my surprise she smiled and said hi to the white lady next to me who was also at the register. She also sounded happy while she was talking (sounds like they're talking about Applebee's and ordering) on her personal phone while she was taking care of me. She even asked the other employee at the register (the other lady is nice) if she wants anything at Applebee's. She then hanged up her phone and continued to look bothered while taking care of me. Also she asked for my address and I offered if I should just right it down (to make sure that it's correct) but again she didn't looked at me and just saw her raised her eyebrows and just looked at the side just like when somebody's trying to listen to a direction. I think that's very rude. Its either because I'm Asian or I look like a hot mess that day. Thank God the nice lady took over coz she can't figure out something in the computer. read more

This is probably my favorite outlet store at Camarillo. I always walk out with something, whether that's good or bad! They have a great selection, and always have good sales. This past weekend, we had an extra 20% off coupon, so I struggled to make it to the $125 cap, but when my bf added a polo the price actually dropped! The lady at the register asked if I wanted to keep going, but I figured I wouldn't push my luck. No arguing with the computer if it wants to give me additional discounts! Score! read more

Assuming you go during a day that is not a retail holiday / frenzy it is a perfectly fine place to shop and they often have incredible sales. Last I went I believe they were taking something like 53% off. Sure, why not. Being an outlet, I recommend going early because later in the day the Camarillo outlets are terribly busy. And yes it is a bit far, but I still find it worthwhile. That said, the factory website has opened up fulltime, so perhaps that is something to use if the drive is a little daunting. read more

J. Crew is great. The J. Crew Factory Store is NOT. You can hardly call it a J. Crew. First, it was absolutely packed and there was literally nobody around to help me find what I was looking for. Second, although they have great deals, you get what you pay for! The fabric is completely different from the normal J. Crew, and you can even tell by the labels they use on the clothes. Terrible phone customer service. I called to see if they have an item in stock that I saw online l and there person who answered just sounded cold and flatly said "no" with no explanation or follow up. She only briefly explained when I pressed upon the issue further and did not appear to provide any suggestions or alternative options. I don't expect the customer assistance to be waited on hand and foot, but her responses and interactions clearly show a complete disinterest in helping customers find what they want. If that's how they are just over the phone alone, I don't expect the fact to face customer service to be any better. Better to just deal with their online website or shop on Amazon, better customer assistance than driving all the way there just to receive a cold shoulder. read more

J. Crew outlets are much like the full-line stores in appearance and cleanliness; customer service is generally good and frequent sales make happy customers. I was disappointed to find on my recent visit that this outlet is completely devoid of items from the full-line store, meaning that this is no longer a great place to get quality items at a steal (my sole reason for shopping there). Usually, I hate outlets. Too crowded, too many eager shoppers, desperation clings to the air. Parking is a mad house. It offends my sensibilities. This is coming from a bargain hunter herself. While this outlet boasts a variety of designer names, there are only a few stores worth your time. (Unless your idea of an idyllic Sunday afternoon is standing outside of Coach in a line wrapped around the store, surrounded by every Asian ethnicity on the planet.) That would be Banana Republic, J Crew, Ann Taylor and BCBG. I will need to make an annual trip to these outlets simply because of J.Crew. The quality was great, service fantastic, and selection varied. I was so surprised that their prices were so incredibly reasonable (for once). This was my inventory: J.Crew: - White collared business shirt $25 - Brown corduoy pants $41 - Feeling smug for not overpaying Priceless I wanted to buy out the whole damn store but this is a recession after all. We were in search of a new work wardrobe and we decided to head to the Camarillo outlets. J Crew was our first stop, our first experience there wasn't great. The sales associate that greeted us seemed grumpy and frustrated at our presence. We tried on a bunch of stuff and put it on hold while we shopped around. Once we realized that J Crew had the best selection we headed back. The grumpy sales associate was still there and was audibly upset when I slightly moved a pile of cardigans. But Ryan was the associate that ended up helping us and he saved our experience. He was super friendly, helpful and patient with us. read more
