This is the worst gas station in Boston. I pulled in, went inside, paid 40 bucks for gas... turned on the pump, and it would not work. I went inside and was basically verbally attacked by the attendant. He kept saying something about the left nozzle is for diesel, which was easily identified and had nothing to do with the problem. Everytime I asked him if he had turned on the pump, he started explaining that the diesel pump is on the left... he must have yelled at me 5 times thru the bullet proof glass, before I finally yelled back and said I am buying regular gas... Another customer using the ATM machine interrupted me saying that the guy was so nasty, and I agreed. Finally, I understood that the pump was not operating correctly and he wanted me to adjust the diesel pump so he could activate the other pump. Problem was... why not just say this when I bought the gas.
After pumping the gas, I went back inside with my pad and pen and asked for the name and number of the owner. He motioned for me to wait, left, and came back with someone who started with some big explanation that they need to get the pump repaired. My take was.. fine.. shut down the pump, or have the attendant tell customers this when they come in to pay for their gas. This supervisor did not even apologize.
I called Mobil to complain and made twenty phone calls, but other than the media dept (who also was rude.... repeatedly hanging up on me), where I finally got transferred to the original 800 number with no options for customers calling in with a complant.
End of story.. I will never shop at MOBIL again. The worst customer service I have had in the past two years!
Shop here if you are desperate... the staff are rude, and disrespectful. I phoned the city and they are not even licensed to do business at this location. This place is the pits... the bottom... like whale crap sitting on the bottom of boston harbor. Beware of these jokers! read more
