Felt more like a "let's see what we can find and write up an estimate on some things they probably don't really need" visit on two 6 year old a/c units . And I didn't receive the recap from visit or estimate or receipt until over a month later. Good thing the extra things they identified weren't critical. Holy Moley! Missed opportunity for them. I always believe that if you do a good job and earn trust on the small things you will get the call when the big ticket items come around. Plus the guy left my recycle bin that he moved in the middle of the street in front of the house instead of the curb. I expected better based on some of the prior reviews for this company.

We recently had another HVAC company come out because our AC stopped working. To make matters worse, they said they couldn't turn the system back on and that we might have to wait until Monday for a full system replacement. This all happened on the Wednesday before the Fourth of July, with temperatures well into the triple digits. We have five kids and two dogs, and the thought of going several days without air conditioning was overwhelming. Thankfully, we decided to get a second opinion and called Airtime Cooling & Heating. Jacob came out, started his own evaluation without us telling him what the first company had diagnosed, and quickly impressed us. He simply turned the system back on, ran his own diagnostics, and gave us his honest opinion. His conclusion was completely different--our system did not need to be replaced. Not only did he get our AC running again, but he also took the time to explain what he believed had happened, what to watch for if it occurred again, and even walked us through how to troubleshoot it ourselves. That kind of honesty, education, and customer service is incredibly rare. Instead of facing what could have been a very expensive and unnecessary replacement, we paid for a diagnostic visit, got our AC back, and gained confidence in our system. Because of this experience, we've switched from our previous HVAC company to Airtime Cooling & Heating for all of our future maintenance and service. If Jacob is any indication of the quality of their technicians, they have earned a customer for life. Jacob was truly a 10 out of 10. None of it was necessary. After having the capacitor replaced, the air conditioning started working fine again, but one of the zones in our home stopped working. You can no longer control the downstairs bedroom with the wall thermostat in that room. We've had to keep that one off And let the thermostat in the other room control the downstairs area. I called back to let them know that whatever the work they did created an additional problem. They scheduled to have the same technician come out.(Andrew). He called me to ask what was going on and I let him know what was going on and he became very defensive and said it was a coincidence that when he came and messed with everything that the other zone was no longer working. Claimed there's no way that he damages the zones. I told him it definitely wasn't a coincidence and we've never had that issue until he finished his work. He said if he had to come back out, he's gonna charge me another service fee & additional fees to fix it. I let him know to not bother coming. We'll just go with a company that stands behind their work.

The crew who came out to the house was exceptionally respectful and helpful. They made sure to lay down mats to prevent dirt and even vacuumed after they were done with the job. Then sent over invoice and charged for second visit that never happened (because they did not call us to schedule the security nd appointment). Now let's talk about the office employee. Candace was extremely rude and unprofessional overall then proceeded to hang up on me during conversation. Then when we called back and asked for a supervisor was placed on hold and hung up again. Calling a third time and asking Candace why she hung up she laughed and proceeded to say "you're mistaken. The phone call was complete."Needless to say, they also overcharged for work that was not actually done. when you try to use a small family on business compared to the big name companies, this is how you're treated. They were very patient and listened to my concerns as I had just been ripped off by a different competing place who had been out three times including charging us for coolant when it was spot on obvious there was corrosion and a leak (I do not recommend Simply The Best). Jason provided the quote and the install was done within a few days which is excellent response time considering I was in a jam and summer is here. Installers were very professional and even had the job done under the quoted time frame and did preventative maintenance on the other existing unit. Recommended. Straight forward, friendly and professional and don't play games with you like some of the other guys.
