I…read morewas on the board at my previous condo for 18 years, I have been on my current condo board for eight years, and Home Perfection Contracting is the best and most professional contractor I have ever worked with. They tore off our old exterior stairs structure and siding, waterproofed the entire wall, and installed new siding and a stairs structure that is far superior to the old one. Their integrity and work quality are off the charts. The owner, Ahmad Khreshi, did thorough research before starting our well-planned project. I was impressed by his knowledge of current construction techniques and dedication to doing the job right. There were several problems that required Ahmad to think outside of the box, one being how to install siding under our existing power lines conduit which was mounted to the exterior wall at six different points. Several times, Ahmad's crew discovered water damage due to poor work by our developer. Ahmad was extremely flexible in adding repair of that damage into his work plan on top of the bid-upon work. Ahmad was kind and fair, listened to our concerns, answered our questions, kept us in the loop, worked with us on timing, and gave us a couple breaks. His crew was extremely professional and respectful, taking off their shoes when they had to come through the building and isolating interior work areas with plastic sheet dividers. When our project was completed, Ahmad send us the following. I've never worked with a contractor who followed up with an offer of help like this: "Remember, you can always reach out with any technical building related questions, in any trades. From start to finish Ahmad and his crew were fantastic. From the very beginning Ahmad provided the most thorough breakdown of what was to be expected, delivered and completed. There were never any surprises, he is one you can trust with your home and treats it as if it's his. He under promised and over delivered. Ahmad and his crew had a keen sense of attention to detail that made us very happy and left the neighbors extremely impressed. He was here everyday and was quick to respond if/when needed. Ahmad was extremely patient, knowledgeable and answered all of the many questions I had morning and night. The crew left the site clean and organized ready for the next day. They worked tirelessly morning and night and were extremely respectful and kind. He is honest and fair and produces fantastic work, something that is rare to come by these days. I will be using Ahmad for all our future Contracting needs! Thank you, Ahmad and crew!

We converted two rooms plus a hallway into a master suite as well as split two large upstairs rooms into three. We had structural concerns and lots of logistics to work out and I wouldn't trust anyone other than Mike to draw up the plans to make sure everything is safe and up to code. Al oversaw the projects and was in constant communication with us and regularly was on site to make sure everything was going smoothly. If anything wasn't 100% correct or what we had discussed, he would make sure it was remedied. Big shout out to Franz who even showed up to work the day after his wife had a baby! The M3 team worked late days and on weekends (with our consent) to meet their deadlines, even when the county held them up with permitting issues they still worked hard to finish within our timeframe. We even made major changes to our plans after construction had begun and they were able to pivot and help us get more square footage for the upstairs bedrooms. There were also numerous curveballs that they handled with ease (ya never know what you'll get with an old house). This was our first time doing any sort of large project and the team at M3 gave us plenty of guidance and support to make sure the finished product exceeded our expectations. If you want something done right the first time, then I highly recommend contacting M3!! If we stay in this house then you guys won't be done with us yet! -Cristen, Phil and now +2 (!)

I have quite a few projects to complete in our old DC rowhouse and plan to use On Duty Handyman again. Hopefully Rolio will make a return visit. Nice work!

While awaiting closing on our new house we worked with Melissa and the team at SR to determine that…read morethe changes we wanted to make (close up an open living room with French doors to create a study and take down a pony wall separating the kitchen and family rooms) were possible and they could meet us at the house right after closing to give us a proper estimate. They committed to starting the project right away so that the work would be done before we moved in several days later. As promised, once closing day came an estimator for SR was at the house within an hour of me receiving the keys and was able to take specific measurements and pictures. A couple of hours later we had a detailed quote and agreed to move forward. They said they would be there 7am the next morning. Little did I know they would show up with a small Army to make good on their promise to have the work done before we moved in. The team moved quickly and efficiently. I exchanged numbers with the foreman so that they could easily text any questions. The team was very professional - worked diligently and most importantly they took the time to explain what they were doing and gave me options and recommendations for solutions to challenges that arose. The team consisted of many specialized skills that were brought in when needed. They did an excellent job coordinating who was needed when and made sure no time was wasted. Trim specialists were brought in to tie into the existing trim in the former living room and a hardwood flooring specialist was brought in to tie into the existing floors for where the pony wall once stood. It seemed like everyone on the team enjoyed working there and with each other and they all had direct access to the owner Sam to keep him up to speed and make sure I was happy with the work. I appreciated being able to check in with Sam a couple of times and he went out of his way to make sure I was happy with the solutions his team came up with. At the end of the day the team worked long days to create a much more usable house for us and meet their promise of finishing their work by the time we moved in. Their work has transformed the house for us and had made it so much more usable. As we settle in (and save up some more $$) we can't wait to have Sam and his team at SR transform other parts of the house for us!!

We have hired SR to do many things in our house - flooring, bathroom remodeling, garage dry wall…read morerepairs, etc . Their initial quote is always competitive, however, as the work makes progress, you will find many things that were not included in the original estimate. Therefore, if you're not knowledgeable enough, your final quote might end up being much higher than the initial estimate. For example: we paid almost 10K+ to remodel one room and they left one wall unfinished because they said it was not included (we thought it was). So make sure you have all the nitty gritty details written down in your estimate to avoid confusion later. Also, their work hasn't stood the test of time. We noticed many things have started to fall apart not too long after the work was completed - example : our LVP is peeling off in low traffic areas, leakage under the shower door and under sink, multiple door hinges have already broken, the floor has uneven spots despite paying extra to flatten it, etc. The work looks nice in the beginning but after a while you'll start noticing where they made compromises to make it "affordable". In terms of communication, they are pretty responsive. We haven't had major issues with Alexa, Sam, Camilo, Dan other than occasional misalignment between everyone.

If you're looking for a reliable team that delivers quality workmanship, treats your home with care, and makes the renovation process easier, I highly recommend LG Home Improvement. We used KDC to renovate our Kitchen, Master Bathroom, and fix some other issues around the house that involved tiling, plumbing, drywall, etc. We first started with KDC on the kitchen, where we had them install all new countertops, and replace our cabinets, basically a whole kitchen renovation. They handled everything and had people for plumbing, tiling, painting, electrical. Everything was handled for us with minimal involvement other than picking out materials. It was one of the easiest experiences where we picked out what we wanted in their showroom and had their project manager coming to the house to review progress on a consistent basis. With how smoothly the kitchen went, we had KDC fix our guest bathroom where things went just as smooth, and then do a whole renovation of the master bathroom. Similarly, we picked out all of the materials in their showroom and the results were amazing. The quality and craftsmanship is very detailed, with new cabinets, tiling, moving different fixtures to new locations, and installation of everything flawlessly. They even alerted us to a cheaper countertop option that still met our needs. All in all, it seems like KDC worked on half the house and did some in a timely and expert way. We've recommended them to friends and happy to do so for others. It was refreshing trusting someone to do a great job with minimal supervision and we're thrilled with the results.

I cannot recommend George and Panorama Remodeling highly enough, they are truly best in class…read more I have worked with a wide range of contractors over the years, from "high-end" firms that change-ordered me to death, to cost-effective independent contractors who ultimately proved unreliable and dishonest. George stands apart entirely. He is the only contractor I would trust with my home, and going forward Panorama will be the only company I use. I am extremely particular, have very high standards, and am a perfectionist and George exceeded my expectations at every turn because he is exactly the same way. He notices everything. Details that most people would miss, George catches immediately and addresses without being asked. That level of care is rare. Professionally, George is exceptionally responsive, knowledgeable, consistent, and prompt. He is hands-on in a way that is almost unheard of, he is on site, actively overseeing the work, ensuring quality and continuity throughout the project. That alone sets him apart from most contractors. Just as importantly, on a personal level, George is genuinely a people person. He communicates clearly, listens carefully, and makes the entire process feel calm and well-managed. His crew reflects him perfectly, they are respectful of the fact that they are working in your home, pleasant to interact with, and highly skilled at their craft. In an industry where trust can be hard to come by, George has earned mine completely. Panorama Remodeling delivers not only beautiful results, but peace of mind. I would recommend George and his team without hesitation to anyone looking for excellence.

Even from the very beginning, before we had finalized a design or signed a contract, Luis and his team's responsiveness and professionalism always made us feel as though we were a valued client. That continued throughout the entire process as we worked with them to develop a design that fit within our budget. Fabio was assigned as our project manager and we couldn't be more thankful for him! I did not have a good experience at all with this company. First, they changed project managers on…read moreme just before they came out to do that work without explanation. When the work started, they moved at a glacier pace with erratic attendance. There were days they did not show up at all, other days they would show up unexpectedly at 7am, and leave at 10am. This was never communicated with me. Next, mistakes started happening. They painted the walls the wrong color. They put up the shower door on the wrong side. They also put up the window blind backwards so I couldn't reach or use the rod to open and close it. After the shower door went up backwards, the project manager fired the workers, but the had no one to finish the work. When they finally came back to fix the shower tiles wrecked when the door went up on the wrong side, they didn't align the replacement tile patterns with each other so the pattern is disjointed and doesn't line up at all. The project manager told me it's not supposed to line up!? After complaining about it 3 times, they finally offered to replace the tiles. But they stalled on ordering them and now it's out of stock. There are also other problems - the shower faucets are not properly secured to the shower walls, the vanity light is separating from the wall and the light switch fixture is also separating from the wall. The floor tile is irregular with grout lines sometimes thick in places, other times nonexistent. Currently, they are not returning my calls or texts. I've even reached out to the owner who came out and promised to fix everything, but commented that I was overly concerned with "small" details. Now he has not returned my calls or texts about when he will come to fix things. Maybe I am concerned with details but I'd think that is common when paying 20k to have a bathroom redone according to an approved plan. At the very least, I expected that shower tile patterns would match up and that things would be well grouted or secured in shower and on walls. This was my first renovation in my first home and I'm so disappointed in how it turned out and how I was treated by the team. Also, this 2 week project took 5 and 1/2 weeks to get to where it is now. Overall the project was done carelessly with no attention to detail and with no acceptance of their mistakes and no attempt to repair the problems identified. I see they have had good reviews in the past, but my project did not go well at all. I would definitely recommend choosing another company. When I first complained they asked me not to write a bad review and I said that along as everything was fixed we had a deal. Nothing has been fixed and they are not communicating with me. I know have to either pay another company more money to fix their mistakes or take legal action to resolve the simple issues that could be easily fixed. If detail and having a project done to your liking is important I would not recommend H&C at all.
