DON'T GO HERE!…read more These people are rude and disgusting. They are also liars and the response they wrote on google reviews is complete fiction. I brought a dress in to be shortened. After sticking a pin in the front (which took a minute) I requested that the woman pin it up so I could assess the length while sitting down. she screeched for her husband who barked at me in broken English that they don't do that. He also told me I was TOO OLD to wear it that short. I look great in mini dresses and will wear whatever I want. I've had dozens of dresses like this shortened. But to get them to lower their voices I said I would simply bring it home and measure it against another dress for length and come back. At NO TIME did I ever say I would go elsewhere. These people barely speak English, and whoever is writing responses is lying for them. At any rate, to get them to stop acting like animals I simply shrugged and asked them to take in a camisole that is quite baggy. For reasons I'll never understand when I came out the rude unprofessional owner began screaming at me to get out of the store. I know what happened. They know what happened. They were horrible. To make it worse they are lying about what happened. if they would admit to how they acted and apologize I would take these reviews down. Bit because they are liars on top of everything else, I intend to find every way I can report their behavior, including reaching out to others who've had these kinds of experiences and encouraging them to come forward. These people are not fit to run a business and they owe me an apology. This is not over.

Both times, they flat-out said no. I decided to take a chance and visited Magic Cleaners in Matawan -- and I'm so glad I did. I walked in with the blanket and was greeted by a woman who was sweet, efficient, and clearly knew her craft. She inspected the blanket and immediately agreed to hem it, no fuss. I wasn't looking for anything fancy -- just a clean finish to keep it from unraveling. I told her there was no rush, but she had it ready in under a week. Not only was the work immaculately done, but she charged me just $25. She did a bare minimum, one-second glance in the back, claimed she didn't see anything, and promised to call me before closing. Of course, she never called. The complete lack of professionalism, accountability, and customer service is unbelievable. If you value your clothes -- especially anything designer or expensive -- do NOT bring them here.
