The entire place seemed clean including the bathrooms and the lady at the desk was very friendly as well. I couldn't believe a 1 hour Swedish massage was only $65!! (60 if you pay cash) But with all that being said, if you are looking for a "spa" experience then this isnt the place. The massage was one of the best I've had but the place is missing the more upscale amenities. (Hence the difference in price point) For comparison, most spas have a locker room, refreshments, sauna, steam etc. This place is just an amazing straight forward massage. I'd give 4.5 stars if that was an option. I'm deducting a half star because the massage oil they used was unscented and I'm big on aroma therapy. There's a pretty detailed registration form you need to fill out for the appointment but he good news is that the masseuse literally has read it in it's entirety to ensure they provide the service you need (such as areas to focus on; areas not to touch etc). My masseuse Mindy was AMAZING! Everything from the questions she asked, to the pressure she used, checking in that I was okay and her level of professionalism! Oh and she even gave me exercises / stretches to try at home to loosen up the areas that were tight. Mindy is the bomb! The only reason the review isn't 5 stars has nothing to do with the massage but rather the facility itself. They've done their best to transform the space without major construction and the space is used for more than just massages so it is not as peaceful, serene and chic as other massage establishments. I've gone to physical therapists and chiropractors but nothing helped. I came across Mike on yelp and I'm so glad I decided to come in. I've gone back to mike 3 times now and every time I leave I tell him change the business name from "Sooth away your aches" to "brand new you" lol. He's helped me get my hip mobility back that I haven't had in years. He understands how the whole body is connected - instead of just where you experience the pain, mike searches for all the imbalances that is the root of the problem. I've had so many massages in my life where I've left feeling like I just got poked around. It's so refreshing to meet someone who can provide me with relief and results. Life changing treatment!…read more Where do I begin? I have so many good things to say! I had been in bed for about a week with a chronic migraine attack - barely able to muster strength to even eat. The pain got so bad I contacted my primary care physician to setup a visit. After his examination he wasn't able to determine the root cause of the migraine, but prescribed migraine medications, and setup an MRI to be done in a couple of days. The prescription meds were no more useful than the OTC meds. I made zero progress, and the pain was only getting worse. That is when I decided to give acupuncture a try - given I have had success with it in the past for other problems. Jennifer was fully booked, but her office team was able to squeeze me in. They sent me the forms I needed via email, so once my appointment rolled around I didn't have to wait around in a lobby doing paper work (the last thing you want to when fighting a migraine). When I showed up for my appointment I was greeted like I was a family member, or a dear friend. The office was warm, cozy, and the smells of essential oils gentle filled the air. After checking in at the desk I was immediately taken to my treatment room - no having to sit around and wait in a lobby. Within a matter of minutes after my appointment started, Jennifer was able to determine what she thought the root cause of the migraine was, and began treating the issue. I immediately felt relief! I was in total disbelief! What I really appreciated was Jennifer's patience in describing what she was doing each step of the way, how and why things were causing me pain, and what to expect during the treatment, as well as after the treatment. She is so kind, patient, friendly, and truly cares about your wellbeing. Before going to Jennifer for treatment I felt like a prisoner in my own body, and didn't have much hope things would get better.
