I got a 70 min facial with a Groupon... and I will not be coming back here again. The facial massage was nice but I was there to get a facial not a massage. The "esthetician" was nice but she didn't listen to any of my concerns.. the extractions hurt a lot... she went too deep and cut my face!!! DO NOT GET EXTRACTIONS HERE. Now I have to deal with the scar... I didn't trust the products she was using on my face. When I went home, I immediately washed my face and try to reduce the inflammation with a honey mask. I'll be honest I'm shocked at the amount of good reviews this place has! I can only chalk it up to the massage therapist being a complete sweetheart and a very good masseuse (not the best I've ever had , but a 7 on a scale of 1-10, and definitely not the worst I've ever had) Anywho... I'm even more shocked by the amount of people who said the place was "very clean, and nice" the lies folks ! The place is a run down hole in the wall. When I walked in, it did not smell like a spa , it actually had an unpleasant scent, a bit damp and fishy but I gave it the benefit of the doubt because Englewood did just have a huge flood in that area due to Ida and many establishments are still recovering. So I put that to the side. When I walked in the lady ran up front from the back and seemed shocked to see me , I introduced myself and told them I was booked for an 11:30 appointment. I was stared at for some time. I repeated myself... she handed me a clipboard to fill out information on what I needed. I told her I had a Groupon for a 50min massage with aromatherapy , hot stone and a 10min foot massage. As I'm filling out the form a guy comes out of the back and asks the lady if I'm getting a massage she says yes... who is this man ?? He isn't a massage therapist, actually I don't know who the therapists are because I see no licenses around. Now I'm staring at this man kind of just hanging about the place; I decide he must be the owner. I come to that conclusion because the shop looks like this man's demeanor, rough ! Papers are all over the tables and front desk, the place is dark and cold and essentially a large room divided by room dividers/curtains (and not nice ones). When I walked into my "room " the bed looked a bit dingy, I was afraid to put my face in the hole of the bed because it had no covering or anything to really indicate that it is cleaned or replaced between customers. Yes To be honest I thought about leaving upon entry but was hoping that the massage would be so amazing that I could get over the other things because I really needed this specific massage, back, feet, aromatherapy, hot stones. I will just speed through and say ; the hot stones , my masseuse definitely delivered on; it was the best part of the massage. The "aromatherapy " may very well have been olive oil because there was no scents going on and didn't cause my body to tingle (as essential oils tend to do even if diluted- they usually have a relaxing , soothing quality to them as your skin absorbs them) this olive oil wasn't it ! My poor feet were neglected which was the most disappointing part ! I definitely did not get 10mins of foot massage. The bed was cold, the room was cold , I was cold. The place is loud , the bathroom was right next to my "room" and so I could hear everything going on in there and kept wondering why they were pulling and slamming the door so loudly. That was until I went to the bathroom and damn near got stuck in it, the door is jammed it doesn't close or open without a lot of effort! The place needs a lot work ! The masseuses seem pretty good at what they do but I feel bad that that is the space and place they have to do it in ! It was not a spa experience , I won't be back, but I will always remember the love that those hot stones and I shared ! read more

Amazing massage spot! Decided to try out a couples massage from Groupon and it was one of the best massages I've ever had! The masseuse was so sweet and her hands are magic...she did such an amazing job and worked out some nasty knots in my back without hurting me. They also do hot towels at the end with your massage and omg pure heaven! I booked the Swedish massage which I highly recommend for full body relaxation and I'm so excited to try the deep tissue massage next time. Total gem! read more

This is a nice spa. Clean. The receptionist speaks good English whereas the masseuse doesn't. Very typical for an Asian style massage place. Unfortunately, you had better be careful as to how you park there. The place was deserted and no cars around. I paid for the meter and went in for a relaxing massage. I get out, and it's not very relaxing to come to a car with a ticket saying that I parked in a prohibited space. So apparently costs over $30 to park in front of it. Fighting the ticket for hours for $30 fee isn't worth coming here. Unfortunately the town will drive you out of business this way. Shanti spa in the same 'hood offers to check your meter for you. Great quality massages for the price! For a 1 hr full body massage, you pay $45. There are two female masseuses and they took both me and my boyfriend. We were able to have our services done in the same room. They start off with an over the towel warm up for about 10 minutes. Most of the massage then focuses on your back, with a little bit on your hands and legs. For a good 10 minutes towards the end they will use hot stones if you like. The last 10 minutes they flip you over on your back and work on your head, chest, and feet. One reason I can't give it a 5 star is that one of the masseuses picked up a brief phone call in the middle of my massage, but it wasn't too big of a deal since she kept it under 30 seconds. Another was that the fan was blowing right at us and we had to tell them to turn it off. Even though its a full body massage they will mostly work on your back unless you say something to them. read more

I bought a Groupon for a massage. I received the best massage ever. I had so much pain in my entire body plus head and feet. She also massaged my head and feet. She used hot stones too, it was all so wonderful. I felt sensational afterwards. Unfortunately I've forgotten her name, but I believe it was Tina. However you can call and ask for her. Also Groupon is charging the same as the business itself, so please do the business a favor and call them directly and they will charge you the same amount. read more

My gf and I just received excellent massages from RJ Sunflower. They were very friendly, tentative, and covered it all! It's very clean inside and in a great location. There are plenty of places to go for dinner afterwards. We both really enjoyed the massages and experience. Fully body with essential oils of choice and a foot reflexology massage. They asked us questions before massaging us to make sure they massage to our liking. We will definitely be going back. Highly recommended! read more

I need to update my review. I've been here a couple times. Everytime I come, during the massage the masseuse will leave the room a couple of times to answer the phone or tend to who comes in the door (sometimes leaving the door open so people walking by can see you on the bed) Also they will talk to each other loudly from room to room. Not so relaxing. Secondly, they didn't like my tip and told me that I needed to give more money. Thirdly, this place is shading with the men they bring upstairs. This place has to be the absolute WORST! My sister and i both booked 70 min facials thinking we would come out with our faces feeling amazingly clean WRONG! When we arrived we were given the standard survey then at no point in time were we asked if we wanted separate rooms we were just put in a room together because as we later found out there is only 1 person who does facials as well as 1 steaming machine (don't know why they would book 2 people at the same time) then the tables weren't heated and it was in cold in there but fine we let that slide then the "facial" started... they put the steamer on my face and washed my face (fine) but then the lady started a massage that must have lasted about 25 mins my cheeks couldn't take anymore that's when i realized that i had to wait until my sister was done so they could switch and my face clean be cleaned (i was annoyed) while at first i enjoyed this face massage i noticed that she put massage oil on my face (after cleaning it) which i believe clogs your pores (again annoyed) then it's finally my turn and i couldn't believe what happened... the lady comes and tells me i have about 5 small pimples on my face i said ok she picks at them and then turns on a blackhead extractor machine (i actually own this machine got it on Amazon for like $20) and started to use it on me. I usually get blackheads on my nose and cheeks however at no point during this facial were there any extractions on my cheeks or nose and the machine was only used on my nose. After 2 minutes of using this machine on me she asked me if i wanted to see (eye roll) she then put a face mask on me let me sit there for 15 minutes massaged my arms and sent me on my way...... i have gotten plenty of facials over the years but NEVER this horrible! I came home washed my face and did the extraction on my own because my husband knew i went for a facial and if i left my face like that he would think i was lying.
