Worst service we have ever had with a company. We were referred to them through Robson's design center here in Goodyear at Pebble Creek. We did not get the vacuum system that was ordered in our contract which is of poor quality. That is not even the worst. We paid for a sound system that has not worked since the day it was installed even after countless service calls. When the doorbell rings it turns off the sound in the whole system. You can't change the station on the tv without loosing sound. My husband was told that other customers have the same problem with the door bell. Anyone know who can fix these problems? Very satisfying experience in getting our security system upgraded to a wireless module. Out tech Alan arrived right on time and spent over 3 hours on the job, with installing 3 new keypads in addition to the module, then tested out all 5 motion sensors and dozens of door/window contacts in our 4500sqft home. He ten spent the time showing me the workings of the keypad and also got me to install the Alarm app and walked me through the Alarm website features for monitoring and notifications. They did the original install in our home 11 years ago when it was built and we are still very happy with them and the service. On a side note, they've even swapped out poolside rock speakers at no charge for us when we bring them into their showroom. read more

Erik arrived on time and was very respectful of our house. He took his shoes off even though I didn't ask. He installed a new network panel which required cutting into drywall. He put down a drop cloth and cleaned up entirely after he was finished. He went out of his way to explain every device in the panel and made sure I was completely satisfied before leaving. This is the second time I've used iWired and know I will use them again in the future. It's employees like Erik, that are professional, respectful, and courteous that help make a positive experience for the consumer. read more

Avoid this company at all costs. 4 years we have been stuck with them because they installed our original system with builder. They are horrible to deal with. Takes weeks to schedule a service call to do anything. Our Control 4 locked up last week and i had to plead with them to look at it. Tech finally came after a week. He used his PC to reboot it. Came back up. $75 for a trip charge and $90 1 hour minimum service charge. Ridiculous to be nickel and dimed by them when we paid so much for their garbage in the first place. You have been warned. We used iWired for our new Toll Brothers home which is all set up for Control4. Alan R and his crew came in and installed all our TVs, sound system and custom electronics rack. They spent over 4 days and couldn't have been anymore professional. They arrived on time each day, observed COVID rules and worked nonstop. They truly went above and beyond to accommodate our needs. They were careful with our electronics and new home in general. Not to mention, we LOVE their work! Everything is set up perfectly! If you're even thinking about pulling all your electronics together, use iWired to get it done. I promise you won't regret it! Using this type of system is a little pricey but so worth it! They are very busy so getting on their schedule might take a while but that was ok with us. We weren't sure they would come through since most trades end up disappointing us but not to this team. Fantastic Customer Service! Our WiFi went down after a storm rolled through Mesa, AZ on Monday 7/9. Century Link claimed that all their equip was good and sending signals, so in desperation to get us up and running, I called Johnathan from iwired on his cell# AFTER HOURS and he was kind enough to offer us any assistance he could over the phone (all while holding his 2 week old baby!) When unable to restore WiFi via phone chat, he promptly requested a service call and a technician was out there the next day. We are extremely please with the amazing customer service Johnathan gave us, as well as the tech that arrived the next day. THANK YOU! And on a side note, our installer Andy did an amazing job as well (June 19) His expertise and knowledge got us up and running with exactly what we needed for our new home. read more

We just had a new home built in Gilbert, AZ and we hired iWired to install all of our TVs, Speaker, Security System, and other new video equipment. Our installer was Sam and he is the main reason I'm writing this review. He was outstanding. He arrived everyone of the 6 days on time and polite and most importanly had great pateince with explaing everything to my wife and myself. Since we installed Control4 this was a first for us and Sam really took his time showing the two of us how this great system works. I would like to hire Sam for my Beef company but i think he enjoys what he is doing too much. Thanks iWired for the great experince. read more

IWired did our original install through Family Development and we have been besieged with problems almost continuously. The expensive SonyTV we bought through them quit working and then we were told we had to deal with Sony directly because we were the "end user." I was without a television for 3 weeks and had to deal with the incompetence of the Sony people while IWired made excuses for them. Eventually a new TV was delivered but I had to coordinate delivery and install myself between both vendors, which was stressful. A continuous problem when we go away is that the Control 4 system becomes non functional so I have to call and get the system re-booted after each trip. My advice would be to buy a television through a big box retailer and then if it quits working you can return it within the year. By buying through iWired we were stuck with doing an exchange through Sony after going through a HUGE hassle and several weeks of phone calls. Sony claimed our address was "too long for their computer system input." iWired did help In the end, but of course I had to write a forceful letter to demand assistance. Very disappointing. I will say that they can re-boot the Control 4 system over the phone and they usually do it the same day I call so that is a big plus. read more

iWired was hired to get my Control4 home automation system working properly. They installed some new equipment, which they claimed they would instruct me as to how to use. They installed a new security camera, but didn't know how to make it work. I was told that they would contact me as to when they would return to my house. I am STILL waiting, and it has been more than six months since they were here. I am very disappointed in both Control4 and iWired. Do not use either of them! read more

Worst customer service I have ever seen. Christina couldn't have been any less helpful. From my first e-mail until I gave up in frustration all she did was make up excuses. Days passed between responses, it seemed that she could care less about my concerns. They were more than happy to take my money several months ago but now that the problem still exists, it simply cannot be their issue, maybe if I bought more from them it would solve the issue! Horrible service, arrogant employees and too busy for you. Scheduled me 3 weeks in the future because they were busy. I said ok but that i was concerned he would show up and need parts to set up my new network so they should come look first. They said no and I was assured he would have parts and worst case if he needed something be back much faster than 3 weeks. Been 2 weeks since they came out and couldn't do any work. They cant even find time to send a quote despite calling several times. Simple router and network set up job in 1500 sq ft home. They are just BAD. They do not have their act together for as much as we are all spending on our AV/Audio/Home Automation. From the initial sales person (Tim) to missing the dates by a month of when our new home was to be completed to the installers (Fab) who left marks on doors and was rude, installed things to work the way THEY wanted it vs. our specifications, to reorganizing and changing the configurations on our existing equipment to their own preferences to immediately saying "oh that can't be done" and then another one of their installers just happens to know how to do what you are asking (it's a miracle!) to their 2-3 lead time for service to coming out and doing service and fixing something only to find it is not fixed. (I could go on...) The owner claims he cares but does not, they all know who the bad techs but do not remove them, they installed our security system and forgot to connect a room, etc. If you are going to spend $20-30k on video/audio/home automation/security, I would suggest going somewhere else. I am stuck with them, but you should not have to be. read more

HORRIBLE! They do not return phone calls!! I have left multiple messages trying to get someone to help me with my control 4 system but they seem to not care about getting business at all. The woman I spoke to on the phone said someone would get right back to me and I'm angry I waited around two days to just get ignored. I even submitted an email inquiry from the website with no response. I called another company today and they were so helpful and came out same day. Dealing with Iwired has been somewhat of an interesting experience. The sales team seem to be quite busy so it was tough getting them to send quotations and/or responses to questions with regards to equipment/systems...however, on the other hand, the tech support and the warranty service has been consistently amazing! Love the tech support team that I have dealt with...a big shout out to John Lugo and Brian. Thank you guys for being on top of it no matter when I call and about whatever it is that I have needed some immediate assistance. From start to finish, it's been a nightmare. Very poor communication between salesperson, installers and homeowner. We were told misinformation every step of the way. From the installers showing up with the wrong work orders, to being told ALL electronics just waiting to be installed, which was a lie. Told Sony receiver not available, so we went online and had the exact receiver delivered in 2 days. Needing help with the Control4 remote, we called "customer service" for help. Speaking with Nygel, he was helpful at the start, then became very impatient and said, "I have to go". He said he'd call back at 8am the next morning. Never called. We have called back several time. Calls are ever returned. Sales rep has never followed-up with a phone call. We are in the new Scottsdale Heights community. Turns out neighbors have had issues with iWired also. Needless to say, never again. Field crews were good, even if they did not know why they were at the house, they did what the could, when possible. read more

After spending two days in our home, he thoroughly and successfully trained my husband and me on how to use the components which he had programmed in a very user-friendly manner. This is a preferred provider for Toll Bros. RUN from them. They seem friendly but nothing works. They will return multiple times to "fix" what they failed to install properly the first time. And in a 24/7 technology world, you can forget about customer service. Their hours are 8-430 M-F. For after hours send them an email...never to be returned. Terrible provider. Stay away. read more

If your builder uses iwired, get a new builder, these guys are the worst of the worst and the low of the low, we built a new house in Mesa Az with William Ryan Homes in the community of Eastmark and had to use them as our low voltage installers, we bought a pre-wire alarm system and the forgot to run all of the contacts at every window and door. So we come to see how the build is doing after dry wall and there is holes at every window and every door, we ask what happend our builder says the forgot the contacts but are reinstalling them, well i guess they couldnt find the wires to our main living room windows or the wire for the motion sensor so they just never installed anything and tried to act like nothing was missing, they also never told us anything after our move in date, thank goodness my wife saw they were not there. Next thier so called customer service or lack of, "Dino" thier new representative was ZERO help after about 5 times on the phone amd would not transfer me to a manager, Please save yourself the headache and do not use this company they truly are horrible. read more

I cannot begin to describe how disappointed I am with this vendor. We were directed toward iwired by our new home builder, Toll Brothers. iwired has been an electronic nightmare ever since. They did a very good job talking us into their Control 4 product. What they failed to mention is that they have no clue how to hook it up to CenturyLink Prism. It took 3 or 4 visits (several of them full-day visits) for them just to get their software to work properly with our hardware--except it still doesn't work properly and it's been since October. They indicated twice they would be back to deal with other items and glitches but we never heard from them again. I called them and they haven't called me back and that was two weeks ago. Based on our experience, although this company seems to want to know what it is doing, it really doesn't. read more
