I found W Nail Salon -- though the salon is "newer" here in Utah (Yui, the owner, used to have an established nail salon in San Diego), their reviews (a lot of them are on Google) are great. I called the salon, and Yui, the owner answered. I let her know I was hoping to get a mani/pedi done within the next day or so, and she promptly texted me the price list. I chose to do a gel manicure + classic pedicure the next weekday afternoon. I only live about 10mins away, but am newer to the area. Unfortunately there was at least two main streets my GPS directed through that were closed due to construction, and I had to get creative and find my own way around. It felt like it took forever, but I texted Yui, and she gave me some tips. I finally made it and wasn't too late for my appt. I was greeted by Yui and the others in the salon as soon as I walked in, and I immediately felt comfortable. I really liked the salon vibe. It's super clean, and everything is well-organized. I REALLY liked the color selection as well. Yui gave me her color and brand recommendations which no one has really done for me before -- I ended up taking her advice and liking the outcome a lot! Yui directed me to the pedicure tubs, gave me bottled water, guava juice and offered me some sweets which was an awesome touch. What hospitality! Yui was the only person who worked on my hands and feet, and I really loved how she took her time, making sure every detail was right. She is also very gentle and took care not to tickle me too much and used a cool dremel took to trim my cuticles. We talked quite a bit about cooking, travel and the like. It was a really nice time, and she gave me excellent massages. On top of it all, she gave me a bunch of hot egg rolls to take home (you can see in the pic I couldn't wait to munch on some on the way home, and they were good!) The pricing was actually $10 or so less than what I paid at K&Q (for practically the same services), but the service here was way better by far -- plus it's been over a week, and my polish is pretty much all still in tact. K&Q was chipping within days. I will definitely be returning here and hope to sit with Yui again! She is such a fun, sweet person, and I really enjoyed getting to know her!

I called less than 10 minutes after leaving and being overcharged and asked for a polish change ans they said I lied by saying they were ok. they asked if I liked them after 2 hours being stuck there ans I said "sure" so they will not change the color. Do not go here because they do not fix their mistakes.

I made an appointment for my mom and sisters on a Friday for a week night the next week and it wasn't busy and they were not in a hurried stressed out fashion even though they had a good amount of people in there. They had a full staff so all the people in there were served in a timely manner. The water wasn't too hot or too cold, their selection of polishes were vast, and their tools were clean. They do not use those graters that can actually damage your feet, so I was grateful for that. My massage chair wasn't working totally well but my party's chairs were so not a huge deal because stuff breaks down, it's inevitable, I understand. There are TVs in there, in my opinion it's a bit of a distraction but if you like it, they were nice, clear, and at a good peaceful level. The staff actually interacted with us, which seems rare, but we loved chatting with them. When our toes need to be beautified you can bet we are making our appointments here because they are simply the best!
