My favorite place to get my nails done by a long shot. Anna & Eric are the most wonderful humans and I've been going to see them since Anna was pregnant with her oldest (about 6 years!). Definitely a relaxing enviorment and the quality work is very high. This isn't a quantity over quality place for all of you ladies looking for a quick place to get your nails done. They do offer walk-ins but please schedule it as much as you can. YOU ARE GUARENTEED a spot you call-in to schedule ahead. I learned this the hard way. I drove by Ivy Nails last week and noticed a sign for 10% off mani/pedi on certain weekdays, so I figured I would try it out. Note: I arrived on Monday evening around 6:32 pm and the open sign was off, the staff was cleaning up, and one customer was inside...this was confusing because the door says they are open until 7:30 pm (and the door was locked) - Anna opened the door for me and said they take the last customer at 6:30 pm. I told her I wanted to get a pedicure and she let me come in, thankfully. But, this is important to note, because she said if it is a slow night, they close at 6:30 (on weekends, she said it tends to be busy, so they take customers later than 6:30 pm). Pedicure: I get pedicures monthly and decided to try a gel pedicure! This is more expensive ($15 more for than a regular pedicure), but the process is so easy, the immediately-dry toes is a great benefit, and they had a great color selection (I opted for a dark OPI wine color). The overall pedicure was fine...nothing out of the ordinary to note. Staff: Anna did my pedicure and although I brought a book and was reading it, she kept asking me questions/continuously tried to make conversation, which I completely understand, but I did want to read :/. At one point she recognized I wanted to read and she backed off, ha. Price: Base pedicure is $25 and then add $15 for gel. However, with 10% off, I was still charged $38, which did not make sense because 10% off $40 would be $36, but she did not budge on the price and I paid $38. Credit Cards: Similar to most nail salons I have been to, they only take Visa or Mastercard (bummer for us Discover folks). read more

I love coming to ivy nails to get my nails done! Every one there is always so nice and great to talk to. Anna, Kelly, and Eric are the best! I've been coming here for around 6 months, every two weeks for gel polish and after I leave I'm always getting compliments on my nails. They need a more experienced staff, also they are frequently short handed. Had an issue with my nails being done correctly, and one coming off ONE day after them being done..Anna went back over then and they looked great. FIVE days later I was without 6 of my nails. Left a message about how we could fix it, and received a very RUDE voicemail dismissing me as a customer. I was more than nice and understanding, and really wanted to use this as my go to place. This is one of the newer nail salons in Greensboro. It's owned by a young couple and they do a great job. The staff was really nice! They treated us with something to drink and it was nice talking to the girls who did our manicures. My manicurist did a great job, especially with the snowflake nail art! She is a young law student. Hands down the best nail salon I have ever visited! Not only were the staff beyond friendly and welcoming but they made me and everyone in my group feel as if we were long-time customers/old friends! It was also very clean. My group had Anna, Eric, Kelly, and Christie and they were all amazing and super friendly. Normally I don't talk to my nail techs because I sometimes feel uncomfortable but I throughly enjoyed talking with them! Some others in the salon did not want to talk to the nail techs and they were very respectful of that but would definitely love to chat if you are in the mood!
