This place can be amazing or can be very not amazing. Often the floor is flooded with water, not sure why or the water isn't working (something to do with the building) but that's kind of an ick. Some of the service people are very crass and make sexual jokes. Some of the providers are very sweet and respectful. You can feel like a number here as well or some of them make you feel valued. This is the problem with bigger salons like this. Nail art varies. there is only one girl that does it very very well. Use caution and try again if you aren't happy but I wouldn't give them more than two tries. This is a very long drive for me and I am not doing it anymore for nails. read more

I truly hate to leave a negative review but feel like it's worth mentioning..... I went to Liam Nail Spa for the 1st and last time on the evening of 4/17, gel manicure and regular pedicure. It was a little busy but I didn't mind waiting. Maybe 15 mins before I was sat down which was no big deal. Everything went well, everyone was kind, no complaints. However, by Sunday, 2 fingers on my left hand started chipping, so I called Tuesday when I saw they were getting worse and was told to come in to fix. While the tech was working on my 2 fingers, I pointed out the gel on my pointer finger on my right hand might be lifting, to which she said it no, it wasnt. My nails were fixed and I thanked them and left. It is now a week and 2 days later, and all of the gel on my nails has lifted, chipped or peeled off.. It is not worth it to me to come back in to repair since it obviously didn't work the 2nd time around. So that being said, I won't be coming back. Truly bummed since I have a friend that is a longtime regular and I had only heard good things. I hope they can figure it out for any future customers. :( read more

Sadly, the person who used to do my Nails left, I've tried a couple others eh! Honestly it's a hit or miss! spending so much money on S&S and gel pedicure to leave unhappy it's not worth it. I literally spent three hours on S&S on my hands, a pedicure with gel on my toes and it was still sloppy! I came home and clipping Off cuticles and white mess that was left on my toes and hands from the corners of my Nails with all the mess that was left. Having white SNS, with uneven cleaning around the cuticle area? was not even shaped evenly, It looks terrible now and worst when it grows out. I'm done going here! It's exhausting! Recently got a new set of acrylic nails here for my birthday and within one week 1 broke and all of them are raised at the base and i've never had this issue with other acrylic nails before. My last visit not so much He was in a hurry-rushed through everything-polish (opi, i brought my own, and it was a brand new bottle ) was put on too thick and was unevenly coated. I worked with Jonas and he was very thorough and my nails have lasted very well, even working a lot with my hands. The pedicures range from $38 to $98, which is a bit steep. However, the basic pedicure ($38) includes more than basic pedicures at other locations. It came with a hot stone massage in addition to the basic cleansing and trimming. The service was great, I have had two different technicians and enjoyed both. The color selection is also more diverse than I have seen at other locations. They have a wide range of options in gel, sns, and regular polish. The salon has a lot of manicure and pedicure stations in a smaller space and they have good number of technicians and patrons at once, making it a bit louder. If you are easily overstimulated or prefer a quieter and more relaxing experience, I would look elsewhere or consider going at an off-peak time. read more

During my pedicure, the music was completely inappropriate for a spa setting--explicit rap with language that should never be played in a professional environment. This is the worst nail salon I have been to. I went in for a French SNS service. The tech who did my service did a horrible job- I asked for natural French and she did a mauve pink with such messy tips. I was in a rush and told her I did not like them and asked her to paint over them with gel because I didn't have time to start all over. I called the salon and told them about the issue, my nails looked horrible, were thick, and the gel was peeling (the same day as the service). I went back in for them to fix my nails. The service was not great, the tech doing my nails was preoccupied talking to someone else who works there while doing my nails and forgot a step and laughed about it. He finished my nails finally after an hour and a half and the next day, my nails are peeling again. I paid over $70 for nails that did not last 2 days. I will never go here again and I will discourage everyone I know from coming here. read more

I went to the salon on September 3rd on a Sunday. I had my nails done somewhere else and I needed some help. He cut them down and actually gave me the shape I wanted. All I have to say is that a month later the polish has not chipped at all. The polish they use is awesome. Daisy DND. I have done my nails for over 32 years and the polish would chip or fade but look at pictures they are still glossy. I think the owner did mine. Its October 22 now and they have not broken. When I arrived, the signage on the building read Beverly Nails, so that was a bit confusing, but once you walk inside the decor is so very cute. I chose to try this place because of all the nail art photos which appear to be very clean and well done and I love nail art. I always make sure to tell the person I make the appointment with that I want nail art to make sure I get placed with someone who does it. Unfortunately, my nail tech, though very nice was not able to do the design I requested, which wasn't very complex. When I pivoted and asked for a simple glitter French, it came out sloppy. Maybe only certain people do art there, I don't know, but after being specific on the phone when booking, I'm disappointed in what I left with. We have been going to this nail spa for years - long before the new ownership. Since becoming a Liam Nail Spa, the new owner has redecorated and installed new chairs. Amenities such as complimentary drinks are offered. The services have been upgraded somewhat with slightly higher prices to go along. It appears that much of the staff is new as well. We have been four times since the change and I have had a great experience each time. My wife, on the other hand, had a very disappointing outcome on her most recent visit. Unlike me, she has her toenails painted. Her technician did not use toe spacers ( I don't know the official name) which despite allowing them to dry, resulted in the polish smearing on several toes. She was also not provided the usual throw away flip flops until she requested them. She was very frustrated and what should have been a nice experience resulted in me having to take her for an even nicer lunch than originally planned to get her spirits up. Hopefully this was a rare oversight and not the new way of painting toenails. read more

My 14 year old daughter and I went in on a Saturday, late afternoon, with no appointment for full sets- acrylics. We did not have to wait. My daughter requested basic nail art and had a photo on her phone to show what she was after as far as design. Her nail shape is good but her nail art is messy. It should have been cleaned up and it looks carelessly done. Her total was $70 for a full set and that is before tip. With prices so high, you need to be completely happy with what you get. Her being 14, she is shy & will not speak up for herself and she didn't complain about the details until we had left...so I couldn't speak up for her while there. My nails are realllly damaged from doing SNS with tips for probably 6+ years straight. My nail techs name @ Liam's Nails was Jimmy. Jimmy was careful to not hurt me or damage my nails any further. I showed him a photo of my nail inspo and he did such a great job. Honestly, my nails are better than my inspo pic. The coffin shape is perfect, length is perfect, not too thick, SO shiny. Very pleased with my nails. I think my total was $80 or $85 (SNS removal, full set acrylics and this was total before tip) ‍ BUT I love my nails and I don't say that often. A contender for my fav nail work ever. And I've had A LOT of nail work. Also, Jimmy has the best personality and was a pleasure to talk to. I would say 4.5 stars for me. The prices are high guys so go in knowing that...and this place stays pretty busy as well so if you're a walk in you might have to wait a bit. My daughter would give 3 stars. She was underwhelmed. I used to frequent Beverly Nail Spa, so I went to try this place out not knowing if it was the same people who would be working or not. Walking in, the decor was very beautiful and much nicer than before. I was greeted right away told the man who greeted me that I wanted gel polish. They immediately sent me to a station and they brought over a menu and I chose the "classic" for $28 by pointing to it and saying it aloud. Next, I picked out my polish. They had many colors to choose from, even more than Beverly did before. The nail tech was very nice and did a great job. I was surprised to get a shoulder and neck massage at the end. When I went to check out, the total ended up being $42. I questioned it and said that I had picked the classic and showed the nail tech on the menu again. She stated that gel is not used in the classic. I wish they had told me this when I chose it to begin with and I would not have chosen gel. I should have pressed more about this, but I didn't want to argue. With tax and tip it came out to be $50. I will sadly not be returning because I don't feel like they fully disclosed their prices and upcharged me. read more

Love this place for acrylics! Ping does a wonderful job with shaping and my usual french tips. I am however highly disappointed in the services provided by other workers. I went in for a regular gel polish. I wanted to get french gel on my natural nails and the guy that was working on them was trying to pressure me into doing something else or adding extra things, he could've told me he just wasn't good at that. Once I realized he didn't know how to do french I decided for a plain gel manicure. The whole time he kept trying to offer me things to up charge me with. Stickers, color changing polish and other styles that I did not request. I kept politely declining and eventually chose a color. Even after I declined multiple times he kept trying to pressure me into getting extra things to charge me with. Finally we finish and I realized the top coat he used was glow in the dark (which i did not request nor do i remember agreeing to). My total came out to be $42 for a simple gel color.. I could've done a much better job at home and much quicker too since he spent half an hour trying to get me to do everything but what I wanted. I cannot believe I paid that price but at that point i didn't care i just wanted to leave specially since it was already past closing and i was pretty annoyed. Now i know in the future i will stick to only coming here for acrylics with my girl ping since she is one of the best! i come here all the time but this was the worst experience. the lady had to remove my nails in order to give me a full set however in the process of removing them she broke my real nail at my nail bed and my real nail was bleeding. then she proceeded to get me a horrible full set, the nails look so ugly and thick. I am extremely disappointed . The last 2 visits there, The quality of service was bad. My Requests had always been granted prior to new ownership. The foot massage is nice , but I asked for a pedicure, not a leg and foot massage .
