Jack is amazing! I'm so picky and I was so nervous to try a new place. But wow. The shape is perfect and they are not thick at all! I didn't need to ask him to fix them at all. Jack said matte would look better and he was right! Literally so happy with my service. I had my eyebrows done as well and let me tell ya'll!! I got one weird eyebrow and it never looks right. But Jacks mother did them and she was so quick. They came out perfect!! I haven't found a place that I'm this happy with the results of my brows so for real this place is the best. This is my new go to spot. They are so friendly and they deserve the best. Just look at the details in my nails!! It's a work of art. I have been here twice now. The first time was amazing! If you go please request Leon, 2 hours went by and I barely realized it. He made my experience relaxing and comfortable, and my nails looked amazing. The 2nd time I went, however, the nail tech was more interested in looking at YouTube videos that conversing or engaging with me. read more

Kelly is the best! I was so happy to hear she opened her own place. I immediately called and booked an appointment. I hadn't had my nails done in almost 16 months because I couldn't find her. Well that streak broke today. The space is so beautiful and bright with tons of actual live plants, which I love. Kelly is so detailed on her work. She doesn't rush through it. She makes sure to create beautiful work every time and test the waters with new styles. I'm already planning on going back next weekend to test the comfy looking pedicure chairs. There are more colors to choose from than I've ever seen so don't worry about not finding something you'll like. She even helped me narrow mine down today based off my skin tone and this is why I love her. read more

The reviews that resulted in 5 stars are extremely old and it was under a different owner and manager. New owners took over about 3 months ago and after being a customer for 4-5 years I literally was told they were too busy to service me. There was no offer to wait. No offer to schedule an appointment or anything. Just "Sorrryyyy Bye Bye!" I went to a technician I knew and she said (the only one of the original technicians remaining) and she said she could take me at 6. However as much as I like her service I could not imagine giving this establishment my money under the new ownership. I called back got some BS story about walk-ins are first come first service (Duhhhh- everybody knows that) on Saturday and it was appointments only a day in advance. But remember they didn't offer me an appointment for later or heck even Monday. PLUS the technician I knew said she could take me at 6. OHHHH AND BY THE WAY ITS ONLY 10am!!! So you literally are predicting the full day??? There was NOBODY WAITING. And did I mention all I want was polish removal and nothing else??? Like seriously. You stick your hand in a bag for SNS. And I have gel on my toes that I just wanted off. However they were not courtesy enough to ask that. But I did say polish removal. I did not want a new polish or anything. I miss Hannah and the old owner. It sucks when ppl take over and forget customer service. After being a loyal customer I will never return. read more

I recently had the pleasure to stop by Serenity Nails while in Winston-Salem. Without a doubt, this was a wonderful experience that I will never forget from walking in the door and being greeted by the owner Jack to the other staff members. Kelly gave me the best pedicure/ manicure I have ever had, she is so meticulous patient and detailed. The salon was absolutely spotless and clean. I live in Boone and will definitely travel to Winston-Salem to have my pedicure and manicures, more than worth a trip. I wish the new owner Jack and his staff the very best. I came here because it was recommended to me but I didn't have a good experience. I showed them a picture of what I wanted and it started off good. I can't remember who did my nails, she was very nice but she did not do my nails correctly. I got acrylics and they were very thick and she painted them sloppy. I made an appointment two days in advance. When I arrived they were not ready. While I was waiting someone came in behind me and was waited on immediately. While I continue to wait. Twenty minutes later I was waited on I paid extra for a deluxe pedicure and it was rushed through they were short of help so he was in a hurry. I ask him for the massage I paid for Sam said no. My neighbor paid for the basic pedicure and got the deluxe treatment. I asked her and she told me what she paid. He then went to get a bowl to soak my nails Sam told me to stick my hand in. The water was scalding. I screamed. Sam did not say one word I had to ask for ice. My finger was red with a blister on it. No one said a word. My nails was not what I ask for. I paid 85 dollars for the bill. I will never return. Nasty people without compassion. I will never return. read more

Number one, I was scolded when I walked in the door because i opening it to briskly. They have a wind chime attached to the inside of the door. That should have been my first clue. Angel who was doing my nails dug into the quick during the pedicure as well as clipped into the sides of my big toe nails. When I ask what she was doing, she replied I had hang-nails (not true) I had my nails done Saturday and they're chipping today, Thursday. if you don't want to go to a nail salon where there's constant Vietnamese chatter skip this salon. read more

Covid safe, great service, decently priced. Very relaxing atmosphere. I would come again and recommend family/ friends.

They were awesome! Yoko was so fun to chat with and she did an awesome job on my gel nails. Can't wait for my next appointment!
