Nice little nail salon in the cut. Not too busy. Six manicure stations and six pedicure stations. The guy that did my pedicure (didn't get his name) did an amazing job. Most nail shops try to rush and do pedicures to get you in and out. Not the tech that did my pedicure. I'll most likely start coming here for my pedicures. read more

Very nice pedicure! Choose from 3 different types: $25,$35,$45. I got the $25 and was VERY pleased...scrub, extended foot/leg massage..ahhhhh! Get a punch card- Your 7th visit earns you $5 off. This was my first visit to this salon. I received a mani and pedi. I really appreciate how Lily and Tracie took their time with me making me feel like a valued customer. Most relaxing pedicure and hand massage I've experienced since moving to NC! They made sure I was happy with the services they provided and I didn't feel rushed or feel that their services were overpriced. The holiday special they offered was the icing on the cake! Overall, not a great experience. Unprofessional is an understatement. We called ahead to set an appointment as there were three of us. We waited 20-30 minutes to just sit in the pedicure chair, then another 20-30 minutes for them to start. Most of their polish looked old, so I picked black for my toes. The girl doing my sisters pedicure, DURING THE PEDICURE, stopped and went to smoke outside. Another 10 minutes wasted, not to mention, disgusting and unprofessional. Not to mention, she wander into the back, once or twice. The lady who did my pedicure, didn't speak English and did a mediocre job. The gentleman doing my moms pedicure, was friendly, professional, and kind. You could tell he felt ashamed of how the business was run. Now to get our nails done. I had Helen, who is probably the tech that carries this salon with any higher than 1 star review. She was amazing. She was friendly, explained what she was doing, gentle and professional. My sister had the same smoking tech to do her nails, and again, beyond awful. Her and the owner chatted about their night out drinking and the smoking tech stopped doing my sisters nails to find a facebook post. If that isn't the icing on the cake, the smoking nail tech left to sit in her car for 20 minutes while my sisters nails weren't finished. She had the dip powder all over her skin. The owner basically laughed and not once did he hold this unprofessional smoking tech accountable. Helen came out to fix my sisters nails until the smoking tech came back in from sitting in her cad. A pedicure and dip, took 3 1/2 hours. To the owner, hold yourself and your staff accountable. You are in the service industry and NO ONE wants to hear about your drunkin night out. Also when a customer asks, who the owner is, and you reply "unfortunately me" shows a lot about your business. Get it together. Overall, this is one of the worst experiences I have seen while getting my nails done. Our frustrating was voiced, my mom had to even tell the owner to stop talking and finish her nails. No apology, nothing. I highly suggest looking elsewhere for nail service. If you do go here, ASK FOR HELEN! read more

I came here not to long ago and I regret it. I was charged $28 for a full set of stiletto nails and the very next day one of my nails broke. I went to a different nail place to get a repair and by the end of the week another nail broke and my nails were in desperate need of a fill in. I certainly won't be back. read more

Just made my third and last visit to Myrtle Nails. I'm a guy that decided to start taking better care of my hands. My first visit was ok but thankfully a friend of my wife was there and she reminded the worker to massage my arms and add clear polish to my nails. 2nd visit my wife was with me and she requested one additional service for my nails. The price of my manicure was more than a full set of nails and manicure for my wife. I paid it not knowing any better. Today they charged extra to take off the S&S polish. I was asked by the check-in rep if I had S&S on my nails, which I had on for 2 weeks. At check out time, I was told I had to pay an extra $10 because of the S&S removal. Upon asking the question to me about the S&S, they should have told me about the additional charge. The charge seemed somewhat arbitrary. I don't mind the extra money but I don't like what appears to be a sliding scale. They seem to take advantage of uninformed customers. I choose to take my needs to another company. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS BUSINESS. read more

Worst. Nail. Place. Ever. Never going back. Got a POLISH CHANGE on my finger and toenails which they didn't seem to understand and charged me more. So I walked in and there is nobody working at the front desk. I didn't even know who to talk to. Some lady who was doing someone's nails greeted me. She had me sign in. Which I guess was ok. Then they told me to sit down at the massage/pedicure chairs. I was in the chair for 20 minutes before I got seen. There was one girl in the manicure station who saw me and could have worked on me but just sat on her phone. Finally, a lady worked on my toenails which was okay but she didn't wear gloves. Then the same lady worked on my nails and did an alright job, still not wearing gloves. The nail drying machine they had me put my hands in was NASTY, greasy and had not been cleaned. Ugh. At the end when it was time for me to pay the lady told me my full price was $26. It is NOT. A polish change for fingernails is SEVEN (7) dollars and for toenails is EIGHT(8) dollars. I told her this and she literally said "shhhh". I did not know what to do. They were so rude and so slow. Never again. read more

I had a manicure and pedicure done on Tuesday, July 24th. I decided to try SNS because I had heard it was better for your nails than acrylic and lasted 2-3 weeks. I was told the toe nail polish would not match exactly, and the color I was showed seemed close, however the toe polish ended up being a more burgundy Color and my nails were more salmon color. The next day I bought a polish closer in color and repainted my toes my self. The SNS nails began to chip on Sat. Aug. 4th which was only a week and a half. When I showed my friends who had SNS, they said no way should they be chipping. By Mon. I researched how to take the SNS off because my thumb nail was so loose my hair was catching in the nail. My friend convinced me to go back and ask for them to redo them. When talking with the staff at Myrtle nail, she first asked if I had called the day before (which I had not, so there was another unhappy customer) she then told me they would redo them for 50% off. Why would I pay 50% when it wasn't done right the first time? I asked if they would take them off for free and they agreed. Between the amount of time I was there, the mismatched colors, the chipped nails, and the lack of concern from the staff, I will not be back. read more

I've had very positive experiences at this salon. I think I've had almost every technician and they've all done a great job. There is a sense of calm here that doesn't exist at most nail salons. Also, although I don't know if for sure, I get the impression that the staff all like and respect one another. It's a genuinely pleasant place as opposed to the other shop I was using. Very friendly and concerned about pleasing the customer. read more
