Came here for a fill and a pedicure and overall, had a great experience! We had an appointment so we didn't have to wait too long. The inside is really cute and spacious. The pedicure was absolutely AMAZING. Probably one of the best pedicures I've had in a long time. I did the luxe pedicure and I felt like the price was very reasonable and comparable to other salons in the area. The massage was so nice and they really took their time completing the pedicure. My fill also turned out well & the nail Tech was pretty fast which I appreciate. I will say they didn't have a ton of color selection for gel polish. I am taking off 1 star because shortly after my pedicure, my toenail chipped off which is unusual because my toe polish usually lasts forever (since I get gel polish). The person I was with also had their toenail chip shortly afterwards so not sure if it was just a fluke or from the pedicure. I am happy with everything else though so I'd still go back! read more

I came to XO Nail Salon on Sunday, because my normal place was closed on Sunday, so I was happy to try another Nail Salon for a pedicure experience. [note: my review is only for the pedicure] TLDR: This is a pretty good place for a pedicure, and I would definitely come back again. We came about 20 minutes after they opened, and already we could see they were crowded, so clearly this was a popular spot. It was nice and clean, very spacious, but for the space and stations available, it didn't seem that they had enough technicians, but I was still very appreciative how they were able to fit us in as walk-ins. I got the Lux pedicure, which included a hot stone massage on top of the exfoliation, and my sister got the basic spa pedicure. Overall we were very satisfied and pleased with how it turned out, and enjoyed our pedicure. The prices were very reasonable, and in line with other places. Why only 4 stars? Certainly my pedicure did have all the elements of lux pedicure included, it just didn't feel "luxurious" of an experience compared to other places I've been - as an example, I was finished off with a hot towel. But it was basically one hot towel laid on top of my legs, as opposed to 2 hot towels, each one wrapped tightly around each leg. The hot stone massage was also very nice, but seemed short. It was all very nice, and I would definitely come back, possibly if I had an apppintment, and perhaps less busy, as I liked our technician. If you have cash, you don't have to pay the credit card service fee, which was $1.75 (I think ?!?), but no big deal if you have to pay with a credit card, it's a negligible fee. read more

I got the basic mani/pedi with regular polish. The tech was nice and polite. -- The pedicure was just okay. (I guess they don't really work on ingrown toenails, and my heels don't feel much different than before either.) -- For the manicure, my nails were filed to weird/wonky shapes. The steps seemed out of order like how lotion was put on my hands then removed with alcohol. -- I actually just ended up removing the polish altogether from my hands and feet when I got home because the polish wouldn't set. I'm thinking maybe the base or top coat didn't go with the polish because even a couple of hours later, the polish would all wipe off into one wrinkled pile if touched. There were missed spots and also polish on my skin anyway. I didn't say anything because they were very nice. I won't be returning, though. I do think it could be a good place at some point, so I hope things improve and the salon does well! read more

Had THE best experience here! I am from out of town and desperately needed an acrylic polish change on my nails and a pedicure, and the ladies at XO Nail Lounge did not disappoint. The salon is well-maintained and very aesthetic and clean. I had the pleasure of getting a pedicure from Lori and it was amazing - she gave the best service and attention to detail! Chose the luxe pedi + gel polish which came out to $51. Then I got my acrylic polish change done by Mary and she was also AMAZING! I had some horrible French tips done on my nails right before I flew out to NC so I didn't have time to get them redone back home, and Mary not only took care of my nails but she did them 200% better. I cannot recommend them enough to my friends and family who are local to the Greensboro area. I will FOR SURE be coming back to see them whenever I'm back in town. This is now one of the ONLY places I'll go in GSO to get my nails done. I went after trying to go to a very popular nearby salon, but the wait there was at least an hour and a half, and now I've made an even better discovery of XO! Their salon is so clean, everything there is new, it smelled amazing in there, and the atmosphere was so much more relaxing than the other salons I go to. They were very helpful and had a great selection of colors. I got an SNS dip manicure, it it was so well done. The nail tech took her time, buffed my nails to a perfect thickness (I HATE when my dip powder is too thick), and my nails look amazing. I will be going back for a pedicure in a few weeks. This is the first yelp review I've ever needed to leave & Probably the worst pedicure I've ever had- next to nothing in terms of buffing and exfoliating feet and heels- and was more expensive than any other pedicures in greensboro ($60+, no designs or special requests). I reached out to the owner directly, with photos, looking for a resolution. She left me on read for a week and told me I could have a $5 discount next time and she'd touch up my polish... not even addressing the issue I brought to her. They also charge you for the nail file and buffer and dont tell you until AFTER your service, and it's not an option, it's required. The salon is clean and pretty because it's brand new, and that's about the only positive of this place. read more

I called on a Thursday and wanted to come in , the lady sounded like she was 5 when she answered and i could hear her yelling in the back "DO YOU HAVE TIME FOR ONE MORE?" than she came back to the phone and told me "yeah but you need to be here at exactly 5:20 or it's not going to work" with an attitude as if i need to skip 10 nail shops along the way just to go there... no. Then they seat you with a menu and nail colors then comes the wine yessssssss . This place is extra luxe from the customer service to the decor .
