IV Data has been my ISP since shortly after they opened shop. I have had nothing but extremely positive experiences with them. The connectivity has always been outstanding, the best service ever and I have been online for 23 years and had several ISPs. I like that it's a local business as well; very personable and attentive. Tried to get service installed in June (2016). I was told there was a wait list 4-6 weeks out, after the 6 weeks i call and its going to be another 4-6 weeks. I called them back in August to hear it has been pushed back another 8 weeks. Pretty upset, I drop in the office to see when the next possible time could be. They "bump" my file to the top of the folder and we set a date for them to come out. Today, (Sept 1) they come to install but tell me they won't be able to test it because Charter is having a major outage. After a little time has passed, she knocks on the door to tell me the tree they chose would not work, but they have spotted another tree they could try in the future. She does not know how long that will take. Calling the office back, they say it may take up to a year. I have referred a LOT of people to IV Data, including a close friend (that does not live too far away). He was able to get the service installed in 3 days and loves it. If you're a gamer or like streaming movies and tv, then Iv data is not for you I'm a gamer and am paying $50 for 5mbps but I don't even get 1 mbps, it's really frustrating the problem still persists even though I upgraded to static ip called them multiple time to get the problem fixed but still no solution it's been over a year now.
