I've had Cavenet for my internet service for 13 years and Monique and taz have always been super helpful. Great service!

I spoke with Courtney to set up the initial appointment. Courtney was very helpful in explaining the different plans, the initial appointment which was for signal check only, installation procedures, the works! Thank you, Courtney! Bryce was the service tech who came to do the signal check. He was on time for the appointment and very professional. He explained what he had to do and then did it. He found a good signal strength, so we set up an appointment for installation. Bryce went over the different plans, and what I would need in terms of equipment. Turns out, Bryce grew up near my property and could give me some history as well! Bryce was also the installation tech. He again arrived on time and explained what he needed to do and went about doing it. Bryce found a better place to mount the receiver and receive a stronger signal and asked if I was okay with the new location because it meant routing the wire slightly differently. The installation was very quick and very clean. After the installation, Bryce sat down with me and went through the paperwork with me, making certain I understood everything. So far, the internet is working exceptionally well. I am very impressed with the professionalism of the people associated with Webformix. Looking forward to a long customer-provider relationship with them.

Their attitude has completely changed and I would not recommend due to their cavalier approach to whether they retain customers or not.

I'm giving Spectrum three stars because of the EXCELLENT customer service we had from Jacob, the…read moretechnician who came out today and got us back on the Interet and also got our Spectrum app working again. ***Thank you, Jacob!*** However, I'm not going for any more stars because we weren't able to book Jacob until we went to the Spectrum store 1-2-3 times. That is, of course, time that we'll never get back. The first two times, we got the same counter guy who seemed like he knew what he was doing... but didn't. I won't give this person's name out because I don't want him to lose his job. But if I ever go back and he comes up as my counter guy (assuming he's still there), nope, I'll pass and wait. This guy initally gave us a new router to install, but as soon as Jacob looked at it (two days later), he could see it was a lemon, which is why we couldn't get it to work. We then went back and got a new modem and a new router from the same guy. At this second visit, this guy did a few other things on his phone which he said he was doing especially for us, that he really shouldn't be doing it, but that whatever he was doing would supposedly connect us remotely. That didn't work, either. But we couldn't find that out until we went back home to check. The third time was the charm when we got a different counter guy, who gave us a $10 credit w/out asking (the first guy told us he wasn't allowed to do so, saying that store security would be compromised. Huh?) and seeing how upset we were, booked us Jacob. This was late Friday afternoon, and Jacob made it here on Sunday afternoon. So, we were unconnected for two days, which cut into my work and wasn't fun at all. Next time, we won't try to fix anything ourselves, despite being told how bing-bang-boom, easy-peasy it would be. We've now learned our lesson: if we ever have **any** sort of equipment issue again, we'll immediately make a service appointment. However, it seems to be company policy that the counter folks don't WANT you to make a service appointment unless you insist. So, fair warning: stand your ground and persist and insist on an appointment. If the equipment is faulty, there shouldn't be any charge for the service call. At least, Jacob didn't charge us. Thank you again, Jacob! :)

about a year ago, Spectrum decided to dig a ditch across my land, I went out there and told them…read morethey did not have permission. Being a retired tech, I gave them several options. They decided to cut another ditch across my land at a different place thinking I wouldn't know, again without permission. After discovering that, I called and told them that they dug their lines on my land without easement or permission and to remove the cable. They sent someone out, marked up a new path on the neighbors land without his permission... and then they did nothing. As long as I don't have to deal with them, their service (fiber optic) is good. Unfortunately, there is little choice in service here in the rural area of Grants Pass... I had a phone, that the technical people said was compatible, but the non technical people's database said it was not compatible. After spending over 20 hours going back between Mobile technical and sales, technical said sales wins and will not put my phone on the system... then they couldn't tell me exactly what the specifications were needed so I can get a used rebuilt phone... My wife and I are retired with extremely limited income, we are not one of the illegals making hundreds of thousands of dollars in this sanctuary state... Thank heaven for Magic Jack.... Spectrum sales kept pushing us to buy a several hundred phone from them... If I had a choice, I would never have used Spectrum.

Used to be a good company who took care of their customers but no longer, recently had to have a…read morenew installation performed at my residence Equipment installation was quoted at $275, this would include a transponder and dish on a j-mount and wire from the dish to your house, and a Poe injector inside the house to send power to the transponder and connect your local network. Installation consists of a subcontractor climbing a tree or other installation location that provides line of sight to the transponder. My second installation was scheduled and then the contractor never showed up, after contacting the company I was told that he had vehicle problems and needed to reschedule. Then randomly the contractor shows up one day to do the installation without a scheduled appointment, lucky we were here He selected replacing an outreach internet installation as the best location for the new equipment install, climbed the tree and installed the equipment but just reused the wiring from the outreach installation. When running the wire to the house the subcontractor did not have the tools he needed and had to borrow a drill and drill bit in order to bring the wiring into the house. After borrowing my tools and reusing wire I had already paid for with an installation from outreach I asked if I was eligible for a discount on my installation. Grady the subcontractor called Norm the owner/manager of Applegate broadband and then told me that I would only have to pay $225 because they did not have to use wire for the installation Then Grady could not finish the installation because he did not have Staples to secure the wire, he told me he would come back "tomorrow" and never came back I then had to request an invoice for the installation, which was sent to me marked past due and for $275. First Norm told me the additional $50 was for additional wiring I had Grady perform which was not accurate there was no additional wiring besides the most basic required to connect the dish to a power supply inside the house After trying to explain my position, Norm informed me I needed to pay the full amount as that was what Grady had been paid and it was all labor . So somehow the equipment and wire that is normally included in an installation is magically free and it doesn't matter if they don't use any of it because the installation is pure labor A new ISP in town is providing DSL connected to a fiber backbone with 5x speeds at less than 1/3 of the price so as soon as I can dig a ditch from my house to the telephone pole on the street I will be switching over to that service.
