I spoke with Courtney to set up the initial appointment. Courtney was very helpful in explaining the different plans, the initial appointment which was for signal check only, installation procedures, the works! Thank you, Courtney! Bryce was the service tech who came to do the signal check. He was on time for the appointment and very professional. He explained what he had to do and then did it. He found a good signal strength, so we set up an appointment for installation. Bryce went over the different plans, and what I would need in terms of equipment. Turns out, Bryce grew up near my property and could give me some history as well! Bryce was also the installation tech. He again arrived on time and explained what he needed to do and went about doing it. Bryce found a better place to mount the receiver and receive a stronger signal and asked if I was okay with the new location because it meant routing the wire slightly differently. The installation was very quick and very clean. After the installation, Bryce sat down with me and went through the paperwork with me, making certain I understood everything. So far, the internet is working exceptionally well. I am very impressed with the professionalism of the people associated with Webformix. Looking forward to a long customer-provider relationship with them.

In praise of Hunter Communications. When we moved to rural Gold Hill/Rogue River the house we…read morepurchased had Centurylink service with horrible speed. A Google search showed we might have an option for fiber in our area. Sure enough they'd just run the lines up our long dirt road a few months earlier. They ran fiber two additional poles on the street and then up our property line and to the house. All at no charge. The service was faster than our Charter in Medford and outperformed a Starlink system we tried. Our internet went down and with a quick call the were onsite the next day. Turns out a critter has chewed through a line at the road. A quick fix was put together to get us up and an appointment made for a full fix the next week. Once again crews showed up and got to work. Bang, done. Super polite and easy to work with and for less than any of the other companies we'd tried. Way to go Hunter.

Honestly, I give USCC 4 stars, but I find that I need to offset the 1 star review…read more USCC as a company has always had their customers first. They tried to revolutionize the industry with the battery swap program, points system and the no more contracts (the contracts portion being done YEARS before any of the other large carriers tried it). Unfortunately a lot of the programs failed but they get kudos for trying. When it comes to their phone lineup it is finally becoming fairly equal with every other big carrier out there. And as with every other carrier/phone/etc... Problems with a device are typical, some just more-so than others but when that happens USCC bends over backwards to help you out. When it comes to this location, I have never had a problem with the customer service or phones. The reps are always super friendly and helpful. USCC takes pride in their training and you can see it in their representatives. If you still feel that US Cellular isn't for you then your only other option for the area is Verizon. However the local reps are horrible, so you'll want to go to the closest corporate store in either Eureka, CA or Medford, OR.
