Brought an iPad mini here for repair of the front glass that cracked. I needed the iPad back ASAP so I called around to a place that had the parts and could repair it the same day. The owner of the store promised he could get it done in 2-3 hours. Brought it in around 1pm on Wednesday. Expecting to be able to pick it up the same day. After not hearing anything all day I called the store and was told that while making the repair they cracked the LCD panel and had to order a new one. Accidents do happen, so no big deal. But the first red flag with this place is the lack of communication. The owner should have called as soon as it happened to keep me updated. So then he ordered a LCD to replace the cracked one. Even though I told him it was a retina iPad mini he ordered the non-retina LCD. So he had to reorder the part, which took several days to get. Long story short it is now the following Tuesday and it's finally done. The whole time I had to be the one to call to get a status (they should have kept me updated). The cherry on top of the whole experience was when I picked the ipad up he made a point of showing me how much it cost him to replace the LCD which is of no concern to me since he broke it. And had the nerve to offer me a discount the next time I come in. Like there will be a next time. If he really wanted future business from me he should have giving me a discount this time. I took my iPad Pro to Tony to repair a terribly cracked screen. I received the screen part as a Christmas gift. I was concerned about the cost of installation labor so I considered doing the repair myself. Common sense got the better of me so I took it to iToyz to have it done by an expert. Just awful. I cracked my 6s plus display a day before a trip, so I had to get my phone fixed in a hurry. The first LCD worked for 3 days before the touch became erratic. He replaced it but the new display went dark in the upper right corner. Took it in a third time for another display replacement. Same thing, went dark in the upper corner. Finally, I just asked him to remove all the components he put in and refund my money. He put the old components back in and refunded me the cost of the parts but would not refund his "labor" which had totaled up to $100. I attempted to make the case that he should refund his labor too since he didn't fix my phone, but again he refused. I promptly took my phone to Apple and I told them the history of the attempted repairs. They tested the phone and told me the faulty displays had permanently ruined a display chip and couldn't be fixed. The owner at iToyz and Androidz refused to completely refund me what he charged, ruined my iPhone and cost me $360 to replace it. Save yourself time and money and look elsewhere. I recommend using an Apple certified repair shop. read more

So, 3 days after getting my iPhone I shattered (and I mean SHATTERED) the screen. iToyz & Androidz was closed over the weekend so I had to wait until Monday to go in and get the necessary repairs. I'm completely wary about taking my phone to a repair place simply because I know how persnickety iPhones can be. Not only was the service friendly and helpful, it was FAST. I waited for maybe $15 minutes while my phone was repaired. The ONLY reason that I did not give this a 5 stars is that I am having a slight problem of my phone's screen being hyper sensitive. I live in Reno, so I am not close enough to swing by and have it looked at...but did call, and was told to bring it in if I made it back over and Tony would look at it again for me. Went in with a fear of something major wrong with the micro-USB slot. Couldn't get it to plug in to charge. Didn't look like anything was wrong but under a microscope the owner found debris. Best Ipad repair! When I was on a family vacation, the screen on my ipad broke. There was no Apple store near and if I shipped it to apple, I would have been a week and $300. I took it to a electronic store in Oklahoma City and they replaced the glass for $139 in 24 hours. BUT, several hours after picking it up, the screen detached and the camera lens was off center. I had come back home and did have the the patience to send it back. I took it to the Apple store and they said they would not touch it as someone other than Apple worked on it. :-(( boo hoo Apple. I took my ipad to Itoys, right down the street from Apple, and they fixed everything perfectly. I took my phone into southsac wireless and had them replace the screen-the next day the screen crapped out on me and I took it back to him. he didn't even look at it. he just said that it was liquid damage and he couldn't do anything for it. The phone worked fine despite the broken screen before these guys "worked" on it. Tech says it must be a software issue that just "coincidentally" happened while they were working on it. I have my own mobile phone repair business and one day I was repairing a ladies phone and made a mistake and shorted out something in the phone and rather then getting the phone repaired which would take too long. I got on yelp and started looking for repair places that sell iPhone. So I called a couple of places with no luck so I started calling again and got his business and five minutes into our conversation I could tell he was a very nice guy and I told him the whole situation and he said he had a phone for about 500 bucks brand-new still in the box which was good for me but there was only one problem I didn't have all the money but I need to get my customer her phone back as soon as possible and he was able to work with me I went to pick up the phone gave him half the money and gave him some of my inventory and came back tomorrow and gave him the rest of the money and picked up my inventory. I had to replace my iPhone 6 screen for the third time, long story. To top it off, after the second screen replacement the microphone didn't work so I've been stuck using the speaker in order to make and receive phone calls. I dropped the phone as I was leaving for the airport and the screen splintered. As soon as I arrived @ SMF I did a Google search and found iToyz and Androidz, which I chose based on the 5 star rating and reviewers' comments. They're right! I called to see if they could fix my phone same day if I arrived by 2:30pm. Tony (owner) assured me same day repair was possible. Tony is personable and very knowledgeable,. He discussed the possible causes for microphone failure, a few can be fixed with tweaks and if those don't work then a replacement part is necessary. I asked him to diagnose the microphone problem because it was abundantly clear he knows exactly what to do and was willing to go through the steps to see if a simple tweak would fix the problem versus me having to buy a new part on top of the screen replacement. Tony quoted the price for the part to repair the microphone, and I left the store knowing the minimum and maximum cost to put my phone in working order. As it turned out a new part was needed for the microphone, and he gave me the old part so I could see what it looks like. Tony also gave me a $10 discount, which was unexpected and very much appreciated! My phone was ready in 2 hours, and that's only because Tony hadn't had any lunch (3pm) and needed to grab a bite before starting my repair. I'm terrifically impressed and pleased with the price for my repair, the speed of my repair, and Tony's knowledge and personable approach. I had an iPhone 4 that had a screen that wouldn't turn on. I suspected something was loose inside, but I had no screwdriver to open it up. Since the phone isn't worth much anymore, I called Tony to see if he sold screwdrivers since he sells repair kits. He didn't, but he said he was more than happy to check it out for free. If it was just a simple loose connector, he wouldn't even charge but if it was something more, he'd give me a free quote to fix it as well. I took it down and in just a few minutes, he had it fixed. It was just a loose connector. Tony is totally upfront and easy to work with. Just from the fact that he'll fix simple things for free shows you what a good guy you're dealing with. Like others have mentioned, this place is an absolute gem! Needless to say, when your brand new iPhone 5 gets run over by a golf cart, you are having a bad day. The first thing you want is to fix is as fast as you can. I was lucky that the phone worked but the screen was shattered. I checked around on Yelp and drove to a nearby place that was also well rated. They had no screens in stock (really?), and waiting 1 week was NOT an option. I called Tony and he said to come right over. Not only did he fix me right up in about 30 minutes, but the frame was bent a little too and he straightened me up. Turns out, the rear facing camera was also cracked as was the prox sensor (which I didn't find out later that day). Quick trip back and those were fixed as well. This is my second time going to iToyz with a damaged phone. The first visit was after my 2 year old grabbed my phone and threw it out of the car window. The screen was completely smashed. iToyz repaired it quickly and for a reasonable price. Just recently, I dropped my phone on the floor - and the screen went dead. The owner looked at the phone, quickly opened it on the spot, found the problem and fixed it - right on the spot for a very reasonable price. Solid store.
