Took my son's iPad in to repair the screen because it was cracked. Everything worked prior to bringing it in (including the home button). Guy said it would be about 20-30mins. Took over an hour. When I came back to pick it up, the home button didn't work. He tried to make it seem like I had brought it in like that but I told him that everything was working fine aside from the screen being cracked. He then took it back to try and "fix" and said it would be another 15-20 mins. Came back and the button still was working right. Then he tried to replace the button with an after market button. Same result. Long story short, the screen isn't working properly now(certain parts of screen not responding to touch) and the button works off and on and you have to press it super hard. Please stay away from this place. Spend your money elsewhere where you won't regret it. read more

TL;DR - Technician / sales rep lied about what work was completed. This kiosk (and the partnered cell phone repair kiosks in the mall) sells cheap or refurbished replacement parts at genuine part prices. Installation was poor, and led to dislodging my front camera and screen adhesive wasn't installed correctly. Pics and research included below: My Pixel 6 Pro suffered a fatal fall, catching the edge of the glass right where the case ends, leading to a shattered AMOLED screen. I have several phones, but I use this one for a few services I really don't want to migrate to a new device. In the past I have fixed several broken screens or busted cameras thanks to iFixit (dot) com - but with the holiday weekend shipping would be delayed - so I tried the local shops. I was told repeatedly by shops that since the screen is an expensive part ($270 retail) no one carries it. This was the only vendor that told me they could get me a replacement screen by the next day, for $270 with $50 down. No problem, that's what all the replacement kits cost online anyways, and I figured they must get a bulk discount to cover the cost of labor. Seemed like a good deal. After I paid my $50 for them to order my part I received several texts asking me what kind of phone did I have, and what parts did I need. This was weird, but whatever. Come the next day, I get a text letting me know the part is in, and I should drop off my phone. I did so, and was told the phone would be fixed in 50 minutes - which seems about right having done similar repairs myself. Oddly, 15 minutes later I got a text on my other cellphone letting me know the phone was ready at a nearby kiosk and I can pay and pick it up. Upon arrival, I could immediately tell something was wrong. The unlock icon, which normally sits above the fingerprint sensor, was moved to the bottom of the screen. Now I knew that if they needed to, they could've moved my old fingerprint sensor from my previous screen and installed it to this screen (though another repair shop told me they're fragile, so it's best to just order the screens with the fingerprint sensor attached.) So I asked: "Did you reattach my fingerprint sensor?" Tech: "Yes, you can set it back up." That was a lie. After playing around with the screen for a few moments while there at the kiosk, I noticed things were a little weird but figured it was because the phone was just booting back up. I was wrong. The screen would constantly freeze, miss fire, have shadow key presses, and require me to reboot my phone. Fed up, I went ahead and ordered a genuine screen replacement kit from iFixit for another $270. It arrived the next day (today as I write this) and it shed some light on things. 1. The technician definitely did not reattach my fingerprint sensor, as it's not there. 2. They used a non-Google screen (more on this in a moment) 3. They did a poor job removing the previous adhesive from the phone body (it takes about a good 20 mins of scraping and using 90% Iso Alcohol to get it all off) 4. The instructions from iFixit call out that you cannot penetrate more than 2mm when separating the screen near the front facing camera, or risk dislodging the lens (mine now rattles around, after opening the case I confirmed it was dislodged) So - after about 35 - 40 minutes I used the repair kit I bought online and my phone is working perfect again. But I was wondering what the heck was up with this other screen they gave me for $270? Well, I started looking for a part number, manufacturer name, or anything on the screen they gave me - and I found the little sticker that gave the name of the part supplier. After some googling, I found their site "mobilessentrix (dot) com" and their product art matched that of the one that was accidentally sent to me via text. After creating a free account, I was able to browse their parts and viola. There it was - a cheap $169.70 generic LED screen without any sensor that ships out the next day, right next to the Genuine Google screen I wanted that costs $270. After some quick googling I discovered this AMPlus screen they sold me is absolute garbage. It's a standard LED screen acting as an AMOLED. You can find them for sale at rock bottom prices across any number of questionable wholesale resellers. I would've gladly paid extra to get the genuine Google screen, but it's my impression that they were so eager to make a sale - any sale - that they didn't even bother to tell me that when I asked for my Google Pixel 6 Pro screen to be replaced, I wasn't going to get a Google Pixel 6 Pro screen. I would've gladly paid extra for them to take the time to carefully remove the fingerprint sensor from my old screen and place it onto the new one. But instead they lied to my face saying they attached it. Instead of getting the phone back in 15 minutes, I would've happily waited 50 minutes if it meant they did a good installation job. 3 times in the last 3 weeks I have had to come back here- they "fixed my screen" but then one drop WITH a case on leads to my phone not working anymore and getting cracked on the front, leading to it not recognizing my touch or being able to use the phone literally whatsoever - obviously use shitty products and every single time i have come here they have quoted me a different price and i tell them "no i paid this literally last week so i don't think that's right" and their like oh really? well ok for you we can do that , as if they weren't just trying to overcharge me. I just think its ridicules that I've had to come 3 separate when clearly their materials suck or one tiny drop wouldn't cause that- I've dropped my phone several times over the years and it wasn't as sensitive, this last time i literally set it down too hard and its broken now. I just purchased a new phone, and I didn't like anything the store I got the phone had. So I stopped @ quick fix in the Roseville Galleria to grab a case & screen protector- they talked me into getting the little camera protectors... they broke immediately. When I brought my phone to show them, the guy game me a bunch of attitude and told me I dropped my phone -that's the only way it would break, and to top it off - no warranty on those.... I get not having a warranty on glass - even tho plenty of company's do offer warranty on them. DO NOT GO HERE! i came to get my camera glass replaced and not only did they incorrectly try to give back to me once still broken, the second time they gave it back "FIXED" they had broke my actual CAMERA. they refused to compensate or fix my phone. they are completely rude. when i told them i need some type of compensation they called security on me and tried to have me banned. I brought my phone in to be repaired as the screen had gone blank, but it still paired with my car bluetooth and rang. I could even answer the call if I "hit the right spot" on my phone. Once I had it repaired, the tint went dark and I was told "It is the lighting in the mall". I was able to make one call after this (to Quick Fix as I saw lines going down the screen and was concerned). After the call, my phone stopped working. Took it to Verizon and no resolution. The day after the repair I wake up to a black phone screen at no fault of my own. I go back and have to argue with them to fix the LCD screen problem that they caused and they still charged me. Blamed it on a bad screen, a bad screen that he installed and sold me. Now my phone screen is falling out, there's a huge gap between the screen and my actual phone and my phone goes black and then works as it pleases. Another bad phone screen or poor work?? I took my granddaughters and my daughters iPhone there to be repaired. It cost me $80 both phones. I went there because they said it was lifetime guarantee. They had issues using their phones right away and a week later the glass broke again. The only thing that didn't break was the glass protection. I dropped my iPhone and the glass screen and the glass cover shattered. After scratching my fingers across it for a week I was DONE. Was in the mall and I saw the sign quick fix. The price was lower then I had been quoted by a few other places and Eamun said he could have it ready in 20 mins. So I left my phone and walked the 10 feet to the food court. Honestly, I was not planning on getting my phone fixed, until I saw a kiosk randomly in the mall. when I then decided to come up and ask a few questions. This place offered roughly $89 for an aftermarket screen and $120 for an apple screen, which was by far a lot cheaper than the other competitors I've seen on the floor. Though, while fixing my phone we came across a few minor setbacks, the tall gentleman (did not get his name) was able to direct me to the business owner, Eamun. Eamun was super helpful, and the customer service provided was extraordinaire. He was able to help and assist me in every way that was needed- he was willing to work according to me and my schedule. My phone flew out of my hand and it hit the ground causing the screen to pop off. I called in & asked how much they charged. I was OK with the price range. It takes me an hour to drive there so by the time I got there they must have changed shifts because I was being quoted a much higher price than what was discussed on the phone. In the end, we settled on a price close to what I was quoted & my screen was replaced as well as the digitizer. However, my earpiece doesn't work now so when I get a phone call I have to use my speaker. I highly recommend double checking ALL features work before leaving the kiosk.
