F3. Basil Fried Rice Dinner - shrimp
Xenia C.

This was our second time ordering here but the first time doing so via carry out. According to our check, Dylan assisted us and he was so pleasant! He gave us his personal recommendations and answered all of my questions. I have 0 complaints about the food. We had the wontons and Thai crab cakes as appetizers. Both were different than what I'm used to but I'd order them again. My basil fried rice was flavorful and filling. My boyfriend had the iThaiz fried rice with chicken and we didn't expect it to come deconstructed but combined it was great but next day it was even better. Everything is a great value as we had leftovers of everything the next day and I'll always recommend for great Thai!

N2. Drunken Noodles Dinner

I really like this place. I've only been to a handful of Thai restaurants so I can't compare the intricacies of Thai cuisine. I get pad Thai, curry, or drunken noodles. This place is my favorite for drunken noodles. They are full of veggies that taste fresh, the noodles are wide and the spice is accurate to order (mild, medium, etc.). The folks here are super nice, good service! And the place is gets busy but stays quiet and I love it for that. Cool decorations. Dine in, delivery, and take out. We've done it all. Tonight was drunken noodles to go.

Room temp soured cheesecake

I hate writing reviews like this because I remember when this restaurant first opened and they were to die for. Went with a group of friends tonight and it was disappointing. The Pad See Eww was bland and the Crispy Basil duck had all the dried basil put on top, it use to be mixed in so you wasn't just chewing dried basil. A friend ordered her dish Mild and it was so spicy she had to send it back, when it came back it was so salty she couldn't eat it. The most upsetting thing for me was the Caramel Cheesecake. When I say this use to be the only cheesecake I would eat I mean it. We got the cheese cake to go and when we got home I tried mine and it was room temp and had soured. It was hard and chewed like rubber. I think they need to go back to basics and make things the way they use to. Because they use to be very good. Don't lose yourself over time.

Mango & sticky rice

Much better/improved since last time months ago. The curry had that sweet coconut taste & just enough spice. The Larb Gai was fresh & interesting. I loved the mango w/ sticky rice.

I love their soups! This time I ordered a large coconut soup for pickup. I got it with tofu and they don't skip out on the amount you get. This soup hits the spot every time. It warms your soul.

The food was fast, high quality, and delicious. The server was fast and polite and the restaurant was clean and quaint.

Paid Thai is the best I've had since being back in VA

Spreading some gratitude to this spot. I'm shocked I haven't written a review for this place because I order from them atleast 3x a month. I'm thankful for iThaiz because they've filled my belly many times with delicious cuisine. My go to will always be their Panang curry with chicken. I've ordered it every time but never taken pictures. The only photos I have here are the steamed dumplings, Pad Thai which is another favorite and the coconut soup with chicken. I've never eaten in, but as an Uber driver, I pick up here a lot! It says something folks. If you're a fan of Thai and haven't ordered from here or event dined in, now is the time! My husband loves the Drunken Noodles and gets the Thai hot spices added. I'm thankful you guys exist and that your food brings me great happiness. #ThankfulThursday

C4. Panang Curry Dinner with shrimp
May-May R.

Our favorite Thai place is almost 30 minutes away so I am so glad we found a delicious place closer to our home! The panang curry was slightly sweet and full of coconut flavor and the spring rolls were crispy. Make sure to get your items mild if you don't like heat - even the medium spice had a lot of heat! Great service and the restaurant was clean and well stocked with hand sanitizer. Although they were out of a lot of things (they only had one asian beer and one flavor of ice cream) they made sure to make recommendations and were very apologetic. The menu is very, very extensive so there's something for everyone. They seem to be very popular for take-out but have plenty of tables inside and a cute little patio with a table and lights outside. We'll be back to try other items!

Over priced and over cooked food. Roast duck more like duck jerky. The noodle over cooked. Pork was barely there.

Their pad Thai is pretty good, but I like their pad see ew the best for noodles. When we've gone, we've eaten inside, but it seems like they have a beautiful patio in the back. The service can feel a little slow if you're in a rush. If you're doing takeout you go upstairs to grab your order. If you want to dine in, you go down to the left. On a recent trip, I tried their salmon curry and it was incredible. I highly recommend ordering this wholesome and delicious dish. This is a wonderful spot for Thai food.

I noticed a discrepancy between the amount on my receipt and what was actually charged to my card. It may have only been a small difference, but that's not acceptable under any circumstance. A dollar here or there adds up, and it raises real concerns when it appears to be a pattern. I had intentionally left a cash tip to ensure it went directly to my server, not through the business. Fortunately, I kept my receipt after hearing about similar situations happening before. When my statement came in, the charge didn't match. I called the restaurant to resolve the issue, and the floor manager said someone from management or accounting would follow up. Over a week later, I never received a call. I ended up disputing the charge with my bank. What should have been a nice Friday night dinner ended on a frustrating note. Unfortunately, that's what made the experience memorable--and not in a good way.

Chicken Bangcock never disappoints and the portion size for all their entrees is a value. Perhaps the finest item on the menu is the Chicken Pad Se Ew with flat noodles and Chinese broccoli. The first time I had it, Unicorns danced around my mouth and giggled. The dude behind the bar is a bad a$$ and makes all kind of dope drinks. I would like it if he wore a velvet cape and cowboy hat while he waits on customers. In fact, the management should consider mandatory cowboy hats for all staff members working dinner service. Ask the barkeep to pour you a triple shot of "tortilla" with a lime wedge and your life will be changed forever- all your wishes will come true and you will no doubt end up in a drunken stupor talking to the broken ATM machine that perpetually sits next to the bar.

My tech lead said this is her go-to Thai restaurant whenever she's in the area, and I was curious to try. The interior has no frills, which is fine with me. As long as the food is good, I don't really care. PAD SEE EW - 16.99 +chicken, wide noodles, and Chinese broccoli This is my go-to basic Thai order if I don't know what else to get. The pad see ew had a good "wok hay" flavor and the sauce was perfectly savory with a bit of sweetness. The wide noodles could have been a bit more chewy (felt like they were a bit overcooked). The entree lacked egg, Chinese, broccoli, and chicken as it was mostly noodles. I felt a bit ripped off. The portion sizes were large so most of us had leftovers for another meal. Personally, I would rather have more toppings other than carbs with a smaller portion. Overall, 3.5/5.
