Visiting this beautiful facility I thought this would be a great place to get my first bikini wax…read moredone with a friend. I was wrong. While there my experience was great and though I anticipated the pain, when we left I was not concerned. After an hour when I said my area was still hot my doctor friend, whose appointment I joined, said that was strange. We inspected and found that several strips of my skin was removed. The next day I returned to Toronto and called Accent on Beauty, they refused to return my money and offered me an in store credit, despite me saying that I did not live in Ottawa. At the time I was calling while waiting at a walk-in clinic and the owner Darlene (?) said that I would have to return to Ottawa to verify that it was her salon's mistake and not something I have done. When I offered to show her a photograph she also said that would not confirm that I did not mutilate my own crotch. I was stunned that this woman would not credit me $30 and implied that I may have intentionally ripped my skin off my body. I am part Asian and my skin scars dark. The effected area is at the seam of my pubic area and my leg and I have had to sit wide legged and lubricated with polysporon to help the skin grown back. This is the complete opposite of the sexy that i thought I would feel and will last way longer than the wax job. After all this, and all I will continue to deal with as I heal and treat my new darkened crease, I was only offered a credit to my account that I cannot even fulfill as I live in Toronto.

Mannn oh man I wish this Place was located where I live!!!!!…read more The membership is just amazing and I'm so sad I don't live here to take advantage of it. Ambiance: super awesome and clean ! The place is Very well maintained and looks spotless The Service was wonderful And attentive. The lady behind the cash really helped me sign up and get my machine going. She explained to me how it worked and how the sessions function. She was super nice and very kind she tried to help me save some money but unfortunately I don't live here and I wouldn't be able to take advantage of the promotions. The way it works here is that you don't pay by the minute you pay by the session you also can go how many minutes you want and the price difference does not change. If you live here and you are looking to come here very often I would suggest you go for the $59 a month membership that will include unlimited sessions a month but it is a six month commitment. To be honest with you it's a really good deal as you can go as often as you want and you can choose how many minutes you want as well. There is a catch you can only go 15 minutes maximum which is very much in general you don't need to go more as the beds Are very powerful and do the job very great. I believe the beds are super high end as they even have a face tanning section and lights for your body into separate sections attached to the bed it's very rare to find these nowadays but this place is super up-to-date and modern. are very powerful and do the job very great. I believe the beds are super high-end as they even have a face tanning section and lights for your body into separate sections attached to the bed it's very rare to find these nowadays but this place is super up-to-date and modern. If ever I'm in town and need to get myself a tan and I have a lot of time to kill It will be my go to place. Trust me this place is hard to beat as it's really high end and worth the price. I think the lotion is a bit pricey about 12$ for a small pack so I might just bring my own next time however the session itself was $16 which also was a bit pricey too but you are paying for quality and quality is very much there.

It was over all a fantastic experience and I will definitely be coming for Botox when I visit the Ottawa area next. I was told that it was skin laxity that I had and not so much fat so EMsculp was preferred and the results were excellent. There are many "medical cosmetic" clinics around and unfortunately, so many are focused on quantity/selling without providing proper assessments and or delivery of appropriate services. This clinic is not like others-staff is professional, knowledgeable and the addition of two physicians who also deliver services and can deal with complications should they occur is very reassuring. I will not hesitate to recommend this clinic to anyone who is looking for quality care, and at an affordable price I may add.

From ignoring my phone calls and messages for preparation instructions and guidance prior to the…read moreappt. A 20 minute spray tan turned into a 3 hrs adventure where I'm still trying to make sense of everything. The young lady at the desk was in automatic defensive mode, being overwhelmed at the consistent errors and questions (Some out of her control). She tried her best, I tried to calm her down, she just became more defensive, i believe she interpreted me as being angry (When I'm trying to calm her down??) and when she couldn't explain why no one answered me yesterday or my email or I had different rules - (I was interrupted Many times during conversation to adjust my mask) while other clients, didn't have them and they were ok to not wear them all. The final event/question for me was when she requested an individual from a nearby store to come in, stare me down, and possibly make me uncomfortable. The individual took an aggressive stance, (unsure of whether it was a male or female), hands clenched in fists, close to the body, stare tactics (Eyes locked directly at me) in full view. I did notice he/she dropped her eye protection twice and the mask was only covering his/her mouth. She/he didn't take their eyes off me but I kept aware of where he/she was, And the young lady working confirmed that they were not an iTAN employee. I can safely assume they were at least twice my size plus the iTAN employee was present. Maddie. When I inquired about the difference between someone having to use a mask and someone who didn't, she again, got very defensive and that's when the non-employee who was requested to come over by your employee to intimidate me with foul language ('Why do you have to be so anal', telling me to fuck off several times). At no point, did I lose my composure or calm, although I was provoked several times. Although i was provoked several times, and a lot of effort was made from an individual that clearly has no place or authority in the establishment (iTAN) unless the matter should have been escalated, and if this is common process, that might be an area of concern to review. I've wasted enough time on this, these services are not cheap, and because of errors that were out of her control (?), I should be relieved I wasn't charged twice??? Because of the bed issues (my fault too apparently). On top of being in physical danger, by an individual whose probably 2.5 times my size...I have a few concerns...stay safe everyone and stay away from iTAN 1667 Carling Ave.

The facial: 5/5 Relaxing, private, quiet and professional. Olivia was informative, gentle and not over chatty (all good in my book). Oh and there was a bed warmer... lovely! Foot massage (2/5) I'm basing this on deep foot massages I have had in the past. The deeper the better. I'd give their approach to a foot massage a 5 if you're just expecting light application of massive amounts of fragrant creams and ever so gentle, light rubbing in a pleasant setting. I sat beside a good friend and we chatted while she had a pedi and the staff allowed me to stay longer because her procedure was longer and the room wasn't needed. I felt that was kind. Where things went off the rails and why my review plummets was due to the communication I received from this place after my review. I had expressed 2 levels of disappointment with their foot massage . First is wasn't 'deep' despite the description of 'deep rhythmic massage' on their website and second because the esthetician maintained a very light pressure after I twice told her should could go much deeper. The 'deep, rhythmic massage' never happened. They sent me an email asking me to change the review, blaming my disappointment on my misinterpretation of 'deep rhythmic foot massage' and explaining that of course it meant was 'deeply relaxing'. They said a lot of other stuff, but the result is that I feel gaslit and feel they were trying to shame me for giving an honest review. They have now updated the website to eliminate the wording of 'deep rhythmic' from their foot massage description. I have a screenshot of that earlier version. So, I have in fact changed my review from a 3 to a one and would give them a zero for customer service if I could. No customer should be made to feel this way.
