Eggplant parm sub

We love the food. Finally a family friendly karaoke. (Wed from 7-10pm) It is a little dark in the back for us but kids had fun. They even sang a Christian song and was cheered by everyone. The workers are super friendly. They work as a team and we admire that. They do serve beer as well.

Veggie pizza-mushroom, onion & green pepper.

Having spent the day moving into our house, after the moving van left we were starving. My son & I drove across town to Italian Pizza Hub because it has such good ratings. We now know why. We ordered a chef's salad with creamy Italian dressing & 3 medium pizzas: double pepperoni, mushroom-onion-green pepper (veggie) & a supreme. I don't have a pic of the chef's salad, we scarfed it down pretty quickly. It was fresh & there was plenty for the 3 of us. We all thoroughly enjoyed our pizzas. There are enough leftover pizza for lunch tomorrow. They all had plenty of cheese & toppings, the marina sauce was flavorful & the crust was tender. They were all polite & friendly but intent on their foods. This is a casual establishment, no frills. We will definitely go back soon!

Fresh, hot and delicious. We shared a large pizza with pepperoni, pineapple and jalapeños and we had a couple slices to take home. Our son had the spaghetti and meatballs and said it was excellent. Small, clean, family vibe restaurant. Will definitely be coming back.

Man hands down best pizza joint in the area. These guys did it up right. Crust was perfect, lots of topping to choose from and the sauce was mind blowing! Also tried out a Stromboli---- chooot! Man that thing was loaded and once I started couldn't stop! Check them out! Also --- check out there Facebook page to look at the menu!

When you can smell Italian spices and cheese from the parking lot as you park you know it about to go down! 5 out of 5. Pizza was legit and the price was lit! I turned into a rapper from all the goodness I ate here. We had a 16 inch pep pizza for 10.99 and 8 wings for 6.99, wings so good made me want to fly!

Chicago foodie reporting. Ok, If you're looking for fancy dont bother, if your looking for REAL PIZZA from someone with a spoiled Chicago palette THIS IS YOUR PLACE, especially for a decent thin crust. I know my pizza, I know deep dish, thin crust, neapolitan. This place is great for a thin crust pie. Their prices are ridiculous, for a large 1 topping its 11 bucks, I pay 18 in Chicago. I havent tried their other foods but when I do I will update.

It was early afternoon and busy, so we sat at the bar to save time. When we looked at the menu, we thought everything looked pricey but figured it would be worth it. We ordered the namesake dishes: the Chicken Bella Vita for me and the Veal Bella Vita for my husband. Wait staff was very nice and indicated it was a good choice. We also ordered a bottle of wine (way overpriced for what it was). The bread and the extra olive oil dip we ordered were delicious, as were the salads. Then we waited. And waited. Over an hour after finishing our salads, the entrees finally arrived. I'm patient with holiday crowds, but no place should take this long. When the food arrived, I was not impressed by the portions for a $25.99 entree, but I hoped the taste would make up for it. It didn't. There was no taste at all! It was supposed to be a champagne sauce, but it tasted like flavorless biscuit gravy with no salt--and no cheese was offered to help it out. My 'Bella Vita' plate had only about 2 bites of chicken, 3 shrimp, and a few pieces of artichoke with some sun-dried tomatoes. I get that poor planning can make a holiday meal prep a challenge, but we paid full price--over $100 for two people before tip. We won't be returning.

As we waited for the others to arrive, we both got a drink. Within 10 minutes the others showed up and our table was ready. Cam, who was one of the bartenders, waited on us. She was phenomenal. There is one other restaurant as well as several businesses using this parking area so there is always traffic. Handicapped parking is limited with a couple spaces near their entrance and a couple more spaces further away from the door. You'll need to look for a ramp if needed as there is not one by their entrance, but that is not their fault. Walking in for lunch, there was a sign to seat yourself. The restaurant was slightly less than half full. Seating is a mix of tables and booths. There is a low wall on the left with tables on the other side which may be a bit more private or less busy. Most of the booth seats we passed need recovering and the general decor is older and could use a freshening. There is also a small bar in rear with about six stools. There is some background music noticeable but at a low volume which did not interfere with conversation. The temperature inside was rather cool and we left our coats on during our meal. Our waitress came by within a few seconds of us sitting down. She took our drink order and brought the drinks back within a minute. We asked for a few minutes to review the menu. After about ten minutes she returned, apologizing for getting distracted with bussing tables and taking other orders. It appears the restaurant was understaffed and our waitress was performing many tasks. We ordered two appetizers and two entrees. One appetizer dip came out piping hot in about ten minutes. The Buffalo Chicken dip was very good. There is distinct Buffalo flavor without significant spiciness. The majority of the included chicken was shredded as expected but there was one very large chicken piece in the middle. This needed a fork and knife to break apart to eat. The accompanying pita-type chips were warm, crispy on the outside and little puffy inside. The remaining appetizer was delivered about five minutes later, with the two entrees about five minutes after that. The Fall special Four Cheese Bruschetta dip was good. Three of the cheeses were well mixed and the mozzarella was layered on top in the middle of the bowl. Once this cooled a bit it was difficult to use the pita chips to dip any of the mozzarella so a fork was used. The fresh basil and roasted cherry tomatoes were nice garnishes. The Johnny's Special sub was fine but not really special. There was enough meat, lettuce, and tomato to feel it was a decent value but the flavor was overall bland. The onion, mayo, and Italian dressing were minimal to non-existent, at least as far as flavor was concerned. The bread was nicely toasted with a crispness without bordering on hard. The bottom of the sandwich did get soggy by the time the first half of the sandwich was eaten but it did not fall apart. The accompanying French fries were very good, crispy outside and tender inside. The Syracuse Stuffer Calzone was another decent value with adequate ingredients to make a complete meal. The steak was decently flavorful but there was also gristle (possibly grill scrapings) included which took away from the experience. The accompanying marinara dipping sauce was underwhelming. While the recipe ideas and flavors are interesting, the execution was lacking. The kitchen had an issue with the timing of sending out the different parts of the order although the entrees did arrive at the same time. Our server was obviously good at her job but was saddled with additional tasks beyond any reasonable expectation of being able to handle while still serving the customers. The overall potential of the menu does merit another visit.
