The amount of food you get for the price is insane! Just $13.25 for this huge plate of pasta primavera! My husband got the 8 inch "meaty pizza" and it was bigger than expected as well! Great value and the food is pretty good. I wouldn't order the pasta again, some of the veggies were overcooked meanwhile some were still raw. Stopped here while traveling to Asheville, North Carolina. Got seated very promptly by the server Crystal who was very personable and attentive throughout. We had the bruschetta for an appetizer and it was fantastic- just the right level of crunch. I had fettuccine Alfredo and the portion was extremely generous. Sauce was creamy and plentiful. This is still our favorite pizza takeout in town. Swung by after running errands on a Wednesday night and brought home a large multi topping pizza. Just wish it wasn't cold when we ate it (came straight home after picking it up). Definitely a four star pizza but docked one star for giving us a cold pizza tonight. The chicken Marsala was nasty, it had no real flavor and the chicken still had skin on it, like they boiled it with the skin. Honestly I'm rather upset as this place was suggested to me. The garlic bread I ordered extra didn't even have any taste, there was no butter, no garlic at all on it. You'll see this in the pictures. And my guy friend ordered a simple med, pepperoni pizza with extra cheese, it was so overcooked and tough he could hardly chew it so we both feel like we got taken with what this cost us. read more

The pizza is good. The Eggplant Parmesan Sub gets 2-**The whole sandwich had a measly 3 slices of eggplant ( one layer barely 1/4" thick) and minimal cheese which I hardly tasted. . It came with fries, which were okay. Not worth the price on the menu. Would not recommend it to anyone . read more

Came across this Authentic Italian restaurant, came to Kingsport for a two week work vacation and I had a blast, knowing I had one of the Best Italian restaurants near by made me happy. The service here is amazing the entire staff here is super friendly. By the looks this place is everyone's favorite in the city. Place is clean and has ample seating, I ordered a few plates with my staff, the past was made to perfection they accommodated me by using the linguini past instead of spaghetti, the sauce here is so delicious you'll want to take some home. The bread is always fresh and delicious. If you live in the area make sure to stop by here you won't regret it and make it your favorite place. I am so pleased to find an Italian restaurant here in Kingsport that knows how to make pizza and make it taste good! (I'm from Philly, so I've had my fair share of good and bad pizzas). Their Original Pizza has that nice thin crisp crust. And yes, fold that slice! The cheese pizza is simple and delicious with the right amount of saltiness flavor to it. PLEASE don't add more salt, it's great as is! While I ordered my pizza to go, I was so pleased and happy with the service I received from the front. As busy as they were with patrons around the lobby/cashier area, I found their engagement friendly and accommodating. Locations had great reviews but very disappointed in the pizza. Was very soggy in the middle and couldn't pick up a piece without the cheese falling off. Only had two pieces and left the rest at the restaurant. Should've been a good indicator to the server that there was an issue. Wouldn't return. read more

Best pizza we have had in Kingsport. I'll be honest, I am picky when it comes to pizza: I make it at home and it's good. When I order out it needs to better than mine. Raffaele's pizza is better than mine. We got a supreme and a pepperoni; both were really good and the crust was fantastic. To me the crust makes a great pizza: chewy, thin and and tender would be how I describe Raffaele's pizza. We called the restaurant around an hour before we wanted it ready, and got to the restaurant a few minutes later, but the pizza was hot and perfect. They do have an inside dining area and we might try that some day. read more

While the pizza is ok, this is the second time I have order a hot sandwich. First time, meatball sub. This time a beef, provelone peppers, onions. Mushroom. They both came with fries which were absolutely TASTELESS. The meatball sandwich had three tiny meatballs with a meciocre tomato sauce ....TASTELESS. Tonight I tried the beef sandwich....again freaking tasteless but for the oil. It was not olive oil but the oil the peppers, shrooms and onions were cooked in. I tried to eat it but it was horrible. I am trying to figure out why I would ever try their food, pizza aside, again. There is no reason, they are horrible, tasteless and rather expensive for what you are buying. The service was great. Caleb did a wonderful job. The food was just as fantastic. We had fettuccine alfredo and pepperoni pizza. The alfredo is so perfectly creamy and just the right thickness. It wasn't too runny and not so thick that it didn't coat the pasta. The pizza has a thin flexible crust that was perfect. I don't like a crispy thin dry crust and this was anything but. It was just as I like it. The restaurant was clean and I was so happy we found this place. Can't believe I've never been here before. They give you a warm, melt in your mouth roll with the pasta. I could have eaten a dozen of the rolls. Our total bill was $20.20 without drinks which I will gladly spend any day of the week for their food. We had enough to bring home too. read more

We were quickly seated and food came at a decent speed. It was all right. Not the most amazing Italian place we have been but ok for hanging out with family while camping at Warriors Path for the weekend. The shrimp Alfredo I ordered was a big portion so I wasn't able to eat it all. It was all right, not bursting with flavor or anything but good enough to eat. It wasn't crazy expensive which was nice. Overall, my kids liked it more than me. I would give it a 3 and they would be more like a 4 since they love Italian food. When I was younger, my favorite thing to get was the pasta combo, but now I like their BLT pizza and club sandwich the best. Sorry to say, last three times we have been to Raffaele's it has been terrible. It used to be so good. The food takes forever to come. They are now charging a "service fee". Which is a percentage of what your total is. The food took so long to come out that when it finally did, we had to get it to go. The salad had wilted, brown lettuce and they used part of the butt of the lettuce. I've given it enough chances. Hopefully, they will improve. Someone let me know if they do. read more

I know the world is an expensive mess right now in 2022 but if you can't afford to put more than a handful of penne in your dishes- you might want to reconsider having a restaurant ‍ I could buy several boxes of Penne for the price of this dish. Everything was excellent. The salad was super fresh and crisp-but not wet or drowning in water. Even the house made dressings were very tasty. One big lie! So I ordered peel and eat shrimp, which is described On the menu as fresh shrimp with old bay seasoning. All this including the name are lies. This was simply shrimp cocktail, cold previously frozen, already peeled shrimp with zero seasoning served slightly below room temperature. Ordered a Steak Hoagie and Medium Pepperoni Pizza. My standard order for judging Italian pizzerias (not restaurants). This was not good. I did not receive a steak hoagie at all, rather a chopped steak sandwich. It was okay if that was what I was expecting...but it wasn't. When I paid out, I asked the girl about it and was told that is what a steak hoagie is on the east coast in NY. Not sure that is correct. Pizza was not saucey enough for my liking and taste was marginal at best. In all fairness, I am a pizza snob. I like traditional New York huge slice pizza, Deep Dish Sicilian, Chicago style and traditional American Pizzeria style pizzas. Not sure what that was other than "OPE" or Meh? This just wasn't me.
