Worst, worst, I repeat THE WORST!! Pedro has lost a pair of my sons pants and missed the dead line on a 2nd pair AFTER charging a premium ($50 per) for the tailoring. One would think he would offer a discount or reimbursement after the mishaps, I got nothing. So after $100 charge from this master tailor, I got the biggest customer service life lesson. I went to Pedro in order to have a shirt and two pairs of pants custom made. I picked out the fabric and all the details. I got them for a trip. I asked if they would be ready and was told yes. I went on a Saturday (day before i left) and the shop was closed. I asked for them to be ready 3 weeks later for another trip. I arrived and the shirt was done but not the pants. The shirt was also different. It was supposed to be standard cuff and was French among other things. Pedro said he would finish the pants and fix the shirt and mail to me by that Friday. The Friday AFTER i was supposed to get the shirt and pants i got just the shirt in. This time it was standard cuff but the wrong color. I never got the pants. I sent pictures to Pedro and he said he hadn't started the pants yet. I asked for a full refund. At this point i had paid the entire $850 and nothing to show for it. Pedro said he would return it. A week later after calls, texts, and fb messages with no answer, Pedro text me and said he was out of the country. I called the office 5 minutes later and they said that Pedro was in the shop. He said he was busy and couldn't talk to me. I text him and said to refund me and he said "call me next with with some respect. Still waiting. read more

The day, I went to pick it up though, they had a sign on the door stating the time they would return to open the store and they did not arrive at that time. I purchased a bomber jacket from my university to wear to homecoming. I never wore it because it was just way too big. I took it to Italian Customer Tailors to see if they could take it in and shorten the sleeves ... basically, just make it fit. Without hesitation, the associate who helped me said, "Sure! We can do that." When I came back to pick it up the owner, Pedro Lopez, assisted me. He was very nice and professional. He brought out my coat and held it for me to slip my arms in. It was like Cinderella putting on the glass slipper and it fit PERFECTLY. It is like an entirely new jacket. Now I'll be able to represent my alma mater at homecoming in style this year. HU! I had a bridesmaid dress altered here and was not happy with the result. The dress was too big and too long, and I wanted them to take it in AND hem it. The man who did the measurements kept pushing me to just have it taken in, but that left it hitting right in the middle of the knee which is not a flattering look, so I asked him to please hem it also. Well, he charged me for the hem job but definitely did not do it. I wondered when I tried it on if he hadn't done the hemming, but didn't pursue it as I should have. On the day of the wedding it was clear that it still hit me right in the middle of the knee and that he'd only taken it in and thought I wouldn't notice. Very dishonest and sloppy work. I gave the place two stars b/c they did do a decent job taking the dress in. I wish he had just refused to hem it rather than charging me for work that wasn't done- at least then I could have taken it elsewhere. Would not recommend this place for anything other than the simplest stuff- clearly is beyond their ability to do more. read more

***CUSTOMER SERVICE*** as a new customer I'd expect more! went into shop requesting a service and was insured it would be done, it took 2wks understanding due to prom they were behind OK no problem on my end, and because of the back up a discount would be given. Went in for pickup the Mgr Lopez became combative and irritated NO Discounts he yells! Clearly he'd offered it to me I didn't ask. Even if it were a 5% = about $1.00 it shows good faith on his part. If I am standing at the counter and you're in the back at a sewing machine loudly talking that's a problem. Not to mention the required service wasn't done the way I requested. Lopez proceeds to come to the counter and whispers I'll give the discount on your next visit... lol there WON'T be a next visit. First you never know who you are providing services too, ever heard of secret service persons who visits your establishments? Very rude, if you're behind close down shop and get caught up! read more

I have used this shop on a consistent basis for about the past three years and have never been disappointed. The one time that I did have a problem, it was actually my fault. I took several pair of pants to have hemmed and cuffed and forgot to take my dress shoes with me. The owner had a pair of shoes that I wore when he measured the length of my pants and when I returned to pick them up, they had more of a break in the front than I like in my pants. He told me "no problem, I fix them for you." Luckily,I had a pair of my own dress shoes in my car this time. So I put on my own shoes, he remeasured each pair of pants and redid the hem's on each pair to perfection. I have also had several suits that he has lowered the collars, tapered the sides and shortened the sleeves and I couldn't have been more pleased. I spend good money on my clothes and wouldn't continue to patronize a tailor that I didn't feel had the skill and experience to make the adjustments to my clothes that give them that custom tailored look. I highly recommend this tailor!!! read more
