I wanted to provide an update to this: I just gave them the quilt today so while I haven't gotten the quilt back yet with the repair - the process to schedule was wonderful. Ilove that they come pick up and drop it back off - so convenient. They were so kind and heard all my thoughts about what I was looking for and said they would reach out with any questions. The update: When I first got the quilt back it wasn't what I expected with the material that was used for the patches. But I'm adding this part to speak to Burrell's incredible response and solution. He offered to rework it and was very sincere on making sure I was happy with the finished product. After I found a fabric that was the same material and matched the style better, he redid the patches, sent me pictures before redoing them to make sure it was what I envisioned, and returned my quilt again. I absolutely love it and am just so grateful for how he handled everything. Highly, highly recommend and will definitely contact him for anything I need in the future. read more

I was nervous but the person that came to my home to take my measurements and the dresses needing to be altered, I felt comfortable. Off she left with my dresses. These were important as it was my son's wedding. Yes, I waited for the last minute. But, it worked out and the owner delivered them to me. Beautiful dresses, amazing work, timeless. I recently got a few suits tailored by StreetSmart Tailoring, and I have to say the experience was impressive from start to finish. They actually came to my home for the fitting (which is such a timesaver), and the tailor was super professional and patient while making sure every measurement was just right. When I got the finished suits back, I could instantly feel the difference. The fit was spot on sharp, clean lines, and great attention to detail in the stitching. Everything felt custom-made just for me (because it was!). The only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is the pricing it's a bit higher than your usual tailor, but to be fair, the quality and convenience definitely justify it. Burrell tailored my dress for the Kentucky Derby! He did an amazing job! Quick and timely!!!!

Nightmare experience with this tailor trying to get the sleeves of a brand new suit shortened (photos attached). He shortened the sleeves far more than agreed and he could not fix it afterwards. I also don't think he knows how to shorten sleeves from the shoulders. The sleeves are totally damaged. I had to drive all the way to Annandale and wait for a couple of hours (where this tailor outsources his work to a Vietnamese immigrant who doesn't speak English), to try to get it fixed. Unfortunately, the final result is a mess. The worst part is that when I emailed my complaint, I received back from him a screenshot of the agreement that he isn't liable for any damages to my clothes. I've used Streetsmart tailoring multiple times after a referral from a neighbor. They've hemmed gowns, pants, tacked down pants pockets, took in the sleeves and waist of my spouses blazer and even made multiple throw pillows for me from fabric I purchased. Once i tried to have them recreate and fix the back of a jumpsuit that had buttons in impossible location to do/undo myself, ultimately there wasn't a fix, but they spent a lot of time with me by phone, text and in person to try to make it work and even purchased zippers for me. When we couldn't find a solution, there was no charge despite the materials and time spent. In addition to the quality, the best part is they pick up and drop off without a price premium!
